Teenager jailed for stabbing another teen with bottle Updated / Monday, 21 Dec 2020 20:08 The defendant was before Cork Circuit Criminal Court A teenager who repeatedly stabbed another teenager with a broken glass vodka bottle, after he refused to give him €2 for a bus fare has been jailed for 18 months. The defendant turned 18 since the attack in the Waterpark area of Carrigaline in County Cork in June of this year. Cork Circuit Criminal Court was told that the youth, who cannot be named for legal reasons, left the 17-year-old "for dead". Detective Garda Declan Healy of Carrigaline Garda Station said the incident happened after 10pm on 6 June when the victim was approached by teenagers who told him to hand over €2 for a bus fare.
