Telangana: 2 schools report high number of COVID-19 cases  |  Photo Credit: iStock Images Two schools in Telangana have reported as many as 35 new cases of COVID-19, a day after 12 teachers were reported to have tested positive. With the new numbers, the tally of cases from 2 schools has risen to 87. The state yesterday reported a total of 204 new cases. Officials on Tuesday confirmed that 35 more cases have been reported from a government school in Mancherial district in Telangana. The same school had reported infections a day before. This includes 29 students and 6 parents. The patients were stable at the moment. A Residential school in Kamareddy district also reported 32 infections, adding a chunk of infections for the state on Tuesday. The state health authority is increasing the testing in view of surge in cases in Maharashtra and Karnataka.
