Michael and Kelly Wolsten were eating out at a new restaurant, Pho Le 1, in Coeur d’Alene, when their server shared that she’s a single mom who works three jobs to support her family. They were impressed with her initiative and inspired by the holiday spirit, so they decided to crowdsource a big tip for her. Michael reached out to his Facebook friends, asking if they’d consider donating to the cause. “We wanted to bless her big time,” he explains. And that’s exactly what they did. Dozens of donations poured in and by the end of the evening, they’d raised over $2-thousand for the server.
