Source: Christine Romero-Chan / iMore One of the biggest features that iOS 14 made possible was the ability to customize your app icons through the Shortcuts app, as well as creating custom Home screen widgets, all without needing to jailbreak your iPhone. However, the biggest issue with using Shortcuts for app icons is that it's a tedious, time-consuming process (you need to do each icon one-by-one). You have to put up with an annoying banner notification each time you launch an app that you changed the icon for in Shortcuts (though it doesn't launch Shortcuts first before your app, so that's one improvement since launch).
