St. Patrick's Day collectibles have increased in popularity over the years, particularly with shamrock items and leprechaun figurines made by Lefton and Napco in the 1950s. Vintage greeting cards are also highly collectible. Other nice collectibles are Irish coffee mugs, shamrock and leprechaun shakers, cookie cutters and cookie jars.

Sarah Kieffer, of Sarah's Uniques and Jim's “Man”tiques in St. Charles: “Some folks like to decorate for each holiday and adding a touch of St. Patrick’s day is a great way to get into the spirit of the arrival of spring. I offer items from beer collectibles to glassware to fun shamrock items. These are usually inexpensive and way to add to any décor. I also have found that this is such a good time of the year for green Depression. It works well for St. Patrick’s Day, and flows nicely right into the Easter season. I have a variety of green Depression glass from old to new. Collectors will still pay for a good piece to add to their collection in prices ranging from about $5 to around $25, depending on the piece, the size, and the rarity of it in my shop.”
