The Nadi Airport departures terminal. Picture: SUPPLIED FIJI Airports has heightened its health and safety measures in addition to their Nadi International Airport travel safe protocols, says communications and public relations manager Christopher Chand. He said as a result of the Nadi and Lautoka containment areas, domestic flights out of Nadi had been cancelled. Mr Chand said some protocols now in practice included mandatory face masks for every individual entering the Nadi International Airport, passengers and airport staff members must display the CareFiji app and only vaccinated staff members could be on the frontline. “There is also a restriction of unnecessary movement into the Nadi International Airport and it is mandatory for all airport staff to declare themselves if they are feeling sick or unwell,” he said.
