2 June, 2021, 12:48 pm Police are advising members of the public living in coastal communities to exercise extreme caution, stay indoors and listen to the radio for weather updates. This comes after a damaging heavy swell warning was issued for Mamanuca waters, southwest Viti Levu waters, Kadavu passage, southern Koro Sea and southern Lau waters. In an update on the Fiji Police Force Facebook page, police urged members of the public living in coastal communities of the southern parts of Viti Levu, Mamanuca Group, Beqa, Kadavu, Vatulele, Moala, Lomaiviti Group and the Lau Group to be vigilant of occasional sea flooding during high tide.
