The board met via the online conferencing platform Zoom for 2½ hours and discussed everything from the positive and negative aspects of having a Dollar General to what the board’s civic duty is. Members adjourned shortly before 8:30 p.m. and agreed to meet at 6 p.m. on Jan. 14.
