Local baseball sign-ups continue The Franklin County Babe Ruth League is hosting additional sign-up dates for the upcoming season. Signups will be held Tuesday from 5:30-7 p.m. and Thursday from 5:30-7 p.m. All sign-ups will be held at the Babe Ruth Complex at Abercrombie Field in Greenfield. To be eligible, one must be between the ages of 13-15, or a 12 year old playing on a 90-foot diamond. The season won’t interfere with school ball. Greenfield Koufax/Mantle teams Registration is underway for the Greenfield Baseball Association’s summer season, as the organization is seeking players to compete on both their Sandy Koufax and Mickey Mantle teams.
