The Turners Falls-Gill Bridge over the Connecticut River was temporarily closed Thursday afternoon while State Police troopers negotiated with a suicidal person.
At around 3:15 p.m., Turners Falls Fire, as well as Montague and Gill police departments, responded to a report of a “suicidal subject” on the Turners Falls-Gill Bridge, according to Turners Falls Fire Capt. Mike Currie.
