Ask just about any police officer, doctor or nurse, and they'll know someone who reckons they can tell whether it's a full moon without looking outside — people just act differently, they say.
With a supermoon and lunar eclipse occurring tonight, the superstitious among us might be wary of an increase in criminal behaviour.
But is there any research to back up a link between people's behaviour and the phase of the Moon?
