Thetford man appears in court accused of a string of burglaries and thefts across Norfolk and Suffolk Posted on A Thetford man has appeared in court charged in connection with a series of burglaries and thefts across Norfolk and Suffolk. Michael Shrigley, 38, of no fixed abode but from the Thetford area, has been charged with a total of 20 offences. Between 22 March 2021 and 30 March 2021, he is accused of six counts of burglary from properties and sheds where high-value tools, building equipment, personal documents and a wallet were stolen. The incidents happened in Holt and Thetford and Mildenhall and Brandon in Suffolk. He is also charged with going equipped for burglary on 5 March 2021 as well as possession of a knife, fail to stop, using a vehicle with no insurance and driving dangerously on the same date.
