Three-alarm fire breaks out in Adams County Updated Dec 12, 2020; Firefighters from multiple counties rushed to the scene of a three-alarm fire at an Adams County commericial building. County dispatchers said the blaze began around 12:30 p.m. at Winter Gardens Quality Foods in New Oxford Borough, on the 300 block of Commerce Street. Firefighters from Adams and York counties remained on the scene two hours later, but dispatchers said the fire is under control. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire — and extent of damage — remains unclear.
