Three cops martyred in Peshawar incidents PESHAWAR: Three policemen were martyred in separate incidents in the provincial capital on Sunday. In the first incident, a police constable allegedly shot dead his two senior colleagues during duty at the quarantine centre in Dauranpur locality in Peshawar. An official said constable Abbas opened fire on his two seniors, Sub-Inspector Gul Rahman and head constable Imran when they were performing duty at the quarantine centre. The official said the accused had been arrested. He added the motive of the murders was being investigated. A source said the accused had recently allowed a local to go home from the quarantine centre despite the fact that he had not spent the required number of days in the facility setup to curb Covid-19.
