Periasamy 11 districts record less than 10 infections; 11 more persons succumb to COVID-19; 1,007 discharged after treatment Three districts — Ariyalur, Kallakurichi and Perambalur — reported no new COVID-19 case, and 11 districts saw less than 10 infections each on Saturday, as 910 more persons tested positive in Tamil Nadu. The new cases took the State’s tally to 8,19,845. Another 1,007 persons were discharged, taking the total number of persons discharged so far to 7,99,427. The State recorded 11 more deaths, taking its toll to 12,146.
