Do the prime minister and his cabinet not think we see through the charade of abstaining from the vote on the Uyghur genocide resolution? Better yet, do they not think China sees the hypocrisy in all this?
Ron Grossman, Ottawa
Liberals showed utter lack of integrity
The Liberals have shown contempt for Parliament and therefore for Canadians by refusing to get up off their privileged, overpaid behinds
to vote on the “genocide” motion.
Clearly, they did not have any fervent objections to the motion. If they had, they would have voted against it. So we can only conclude that they agree with the motion, but do not have the courage of their convictions. They do not even have the integrity to show up and abstain from voting.
