Hopkinsville, KY, USA / WHOP 1230 AM | News Radio Apr 30, 2021 | 10:43 AM A time capsule buried for Todd County’s 150th anniversary on May 1, 1971 will be unearthed from the Public Square and then opened Saturday night on Facebook Live. It’s being facilitated by Historic Todd County, Inc. and they say the opening of the capsule will be streamed Saturday night at 7 on the Todd County Fiscal Court Facebook page. A crowd will not be allowed in the courthouse where the opening is happening due to COVID protocols. The plans are for the contents to be placed at the Welcome Center inside the Historic Courthouse for public viewing from May 8 until July 3.
