Total Closure of Van Reenens Pass after fuel tanker burst into flames Mar 17, 2021 All lanes on the Van Reneen’s Pass have been closed after two truck collided. The crash which occurred early on Wednesday saw one of the trucks which was transporting fuel – burst into flames. Emergency services dashed to the scene to contain the blaze. KZN EMS spokesperson, Robert McKenzie, said northbound lanes at Tugela Plaza and Tugela East Ramp Plaza have been closed.
