12/15/2020 Deal on sale of the complex is imminent, says Lombardi NORTH PROVIDENCE – The old North Providence Public Safety Complex will again be a money-maker for the town, after officials agreed to terms with the state on a $10,000-per-month lease to convert it into a COVID testing site. The Town Council on Monday approved a lease that would last for three months and as long as six months for the 20,000-square-foot complex at 1967 Mineral Spring Ave. This lease will not impact the town’s planned sale of the complex, said Lombardi, and he said he now has a likely buyer preparing to sign a deal on a multi-million-dollar purchase.
