Previously: CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A wreck on the U.S. 41A Bypass at the intersection of Riverwood Place shut down traffic in both directions Tuesday afternoon. Officers are in the process of setting up two detours, one at the Bypass and Cumberland Drive, and the other at the Bypass and Edmondson Ferry Road, according to a news release from Clarksville Police Sgt. Charles Gill. CPD is asking the public to avoid the area and find an alternate route until the roadway can be reopened.
