Radio show ring ring walk to change Jack's Jones rich the kid and the unmistakable vocals of Mabel she is fabulous I love that Jude. Just been thinking. I'm going to have kids on the radio like such. And such This is the question I will be asking them. What have you ask Santa for you Have you written a letter of what was in it now a lovely lady called Emily Holcomb sent me a picture of her child's letter is no name on it but the letter is extraordinary so I'm just going to describe it to you. Is a picture I think is Santa I'm not 100 percent sure it's got of what I say it's because I'm not rich or what it is it's there's a hit for sure it's a big potato head and then this a little blow bombs and. Then this is so water. What looks like a banana coming out of the Potato Head I think it's so hot I think and then it just says Whoa whoa whoa whoa I'm not saying. It's you 63 but here is what that child is awful. To Santa I've been a little pickle. Sometimes in the year. But also some good times that's it that's what. The president has actually been awful his I'm asking. On the radio show me to come on and tell me what they've written to Santa for they scripts miss a one trick start you message with the word box and we will call you back. On the right and we will investigate further. Isabel. She just like to sit in traffic I mean. Everything Better. Sashay and I know this is. Where. The music. Thing. We're gong to. Come. I'm. Known for. On. This. World in. His. Hands. So. Let. Long long. Long long. Long long. All right. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. With. Now. You are a conservation volunteer work. Oh well I thought I'd be hearing just to let you know that we've got a really fantastic event tomorrow tree planting. Park and I wanted to put a pill out to all your fantastic listeners to say if you want to be something different on Wednesday then why don't you come down and plant one of 843 which are trees that we are planting in the park and I'm going to be. If you've got a tree you need. That's right yes and. This is just about for you just look at the subject. What did you want to. Say this is so this is Tell us about why the program that we have at the Conservation Volunteers is part of it is called I dig trees and it's where the partners called Ivo energy in the past 5 years with that partnership we've actually planted over a 1000000 trees across the country and tomorrow in Palm the talk is one of those. Events where we want all of the community to come out no matter your age your ability to come down to you Well you bring some gloves we'll give you a full safety tour and you'll be part of. This massive tree punch initiative that's taken place across the country and a pro one Yeah you know and I don't think anybody can say that they've done nothing for you all right and. Actually I was looking for things to do the not Christmas related I'm a bit. Of a bit Christmas out if you know I mean I just want to do something Christmas is on the horizon and it's going to be brilliant but we're going to do something just wasn't Christmas a if that doesn't sound too so Bar humbug and maybe there's a bit of fresh air I'm going to do some good for the environment I'm going to plant some tree this sounds like a. Exactly and you know at the moment it's by replanting season so if you want to be so you know make another batch of men's ties all right in your 400 Christmas card is that you know you could be with your friends and meeting people in the community that you have many never have met before you can imagine the type of conversation going to be having with somebody you've never met before planting a tree a distinct good for the environment and all of this we can promise you it was washed down with one fantastic thing that we always gave all of our volunteers I school volunteer fuel and biscuits oh you know what. We might serve an immense pie but if you don't like theirs you can receive a bit. So it's probably tomorrow what time's kick off to kicking off 11 o'clock and they'll be a full safety and talk and we'll actually teach you how to plant these young trees and tricky is the very very is the youngest type of tree that I can base the really kind of is a bit like just seeing a root about root kind of with a twig coming out the top and we'll show you how to plant them really sense a base to the all of these trays will be here for a very long time to come along with the 11 to the world from a a bit more correct they're all may. Remember Sir Richard Branson is that over knocking down all these Christmas trees what is it on King 840 which is absolutely brilliant and I can't tell you the amount of joy that you would get from doing something totally different on a Wednesday so please if you can bring your own children you can keep if people have disabilities we will cater for everybody sick pay still free to come down pick up the spade and join in the fun doing it put in only one of the well I'm going to be there 11 you've sold and your enthusiasm is really infectious. So also you are volunteers and anybody listening if you want to come down and play. Trees we may also use public parks everyone down there 11 o'clock thanks a you are so welcome and if anybody wants to find out a bit more information if you go to Web site page and just type in the palm apart and pay scale which is the sick $1.00. You'll see all of the invited intimation by just during what to pray what not to be afraid of and obviously a Michelle will be that Casey can always get your autograph but. Thank you. Very much. They'd see radio talk show. Hosts Scott Shane that I'm just having a look on my Facebook and if you want to jump aboard baps Michelle Babs do it and get my name right there Michelle perhaps didn't jump aboard and we are talking about. Your kids writing letters to Santa and what's in those letters I've just got an amazing one from a lady called Helen Bligh and I have to say is a tale of 2 halves she's got 2 girls one called Holly. And her other daughter is called Rosa and they are very very different axes so if I read to. Holly's 1st it says dissenter I would wish for a reverse in climate change for a subscription to a National Geographic the kids so can find out ways to help is this possible you'll sincerely holy Well it's not lovely So that's holy and our other daughter Rosa. I would like to Lol dump a place I've been very good thank you. I love it and I want to put 3 star you message through the web. With. Me. With. The. 6 b.b.c. Radio about Brenda and rocking around the Christmas tree now if you've been listening to the should have been featuring Christmas in Heroes. The reason I'm done and I mean it's a fairly obvious but I wanted to give the people in our community who are doing really nice things for other people just a bit of a shout out to the lead up to say thank you you are amazing and I know that you don't think that you all we've had loads of people doing great things on the phone right now I've got a lady called Ruby and I'm just gonna speak to raping a hollow. Irish Hello how are you this evening signed thank you note and now you sound very chipper and Spore I only but what you don't know about Ruby she is a very young 86 years old. I am yes. You would think so because of all the things that she does why do you tell everybody Ruby what you've been up to what you've been organizing. Well I've been organizing a lovely club full blind and visually impaired people. 26 years ago I was approached by somebody from Upshur County blind society. That's how come I tole and they came along and said they were looking for holes to start a club in the Langley and flounce area and could they use a gun I told and reiterate that would be fine and then they asked me if I would run it. Of course they did but it's not been running for the last 26 years. Why how and have you enjoyed all of that 20 cc's That's a moment all I. Every minute of it I started with 12 members we had signed 12 people in the beginning which was quite easy and I now have 68 members gosh. Some of Gong and others of come along. With my youngest now I think is about 28 years old but my oldest is 103 she was 103 this week. Under the tree. Well I mean that makes you quite a spring chicken I'm just a pea Now that's what you buy day. I never thought I'd be saying to a lovely lady like. Now you will you will be no I think it did no wrong to can you tell me about the data Well we've actually had it now. Yes we had it on Monday and. Every year well we meet every month actually once a month and I have very nice often in t. But on c.n.n. Christmas time we have a Christmas lunch the full Christmas dinner and this year it was held in a missile Nicko in sound and attended by 82 members. And those lovely man and you met from flower she was there as well with us sir that was nice you know I do you know what all the members wear if they come from if they come from the go I thought they come from somewhere else who all the members of the members are all from the. Berkshires area and I think my group is anywhere from sipping from the Royal and Langley and Congress that sort of area and we do have actually about 9 clubs in the bush area. There are still a lot of people out there who had. For so much and don't realize that there is a club for them you know so I like to do now and again bring in ships and radio and let them know what they do you know because a lot of them just sit there and you come out once a month from that's not good enough you know it's no good enough I know our city much and if you are partially So I think you've lost your so it's I don't know that you have you could you could feel cutoff aka the you know it's not much for me to do or other people like me but for me they'd be wrong. They'd be very wrong I mean I started losing Lang so I took about 7 years ago and now I'm registered blind I do have a little bit aside you know it's a lot but. My my members when I study religion my site they started telling me what to do. Where you see they go. So where can we find out about your clubs and if somebody is listening now that want to know about that or perhaps Mali mom or my dad or a relative of mine they might be losing their thought but you know it could be with all the like Monty people would have a bit of fun at the club Wick and they find out about the baby well if they get in touch with shared vision. That their head offices is in reading. Should I give you the phone number over the radio or is that I don't know i k o w one age 9. 872803 and that's cherish and that's the head office in reading and they can tell you you know wherever you are where there will be a club for you and I think it's necessary that they do know that there are other clubs out there he's really important to do you have a cracking one on Monday we had a super luncheon and the caterer is a natural fact I've been doing my Christmas lunch catering for the last 26 years Oh my well they must be pretty good and if you keep having the back very very good very happy you would certainly I mean Christmas here right but you do it all throughout the year so I guess that makes you you know a 52 week 2 year heroes you do it all the time you know just doing a Christmas or you oh no all the time but. I look on all of them now oh my members they're my extended family and that's the way I I see them you know they give a lot for me as well as what I try to give to them and maybe Thank you for your time and thank you for telling us about you know the good work that you do Wade and best of luck for next June if you got anything happening all coming up come on the right to come on my show and tell me what about it I will tell you it's not flatly happy I stressed if you're evening repay thank you very much You're welcome thank you. Probably by 1st. Thank you for. The. So. There. Must. Maybe see ready about Chicago Whitney Houston and Holly I love Don't forget one trip with race not message with the word box if you are out about to Noyon a works christmas do I'd love to hear from you. Time ago. I can studio. Have music used to make me smile. And no one knew if I cared much. That I could make those people didn't send maybe they be happy for a walk. But February made me shiver every day. Deliver better news on the doorstep I couldn't take one more step. I can remember. When I read about him in his widowed bride. Something to me. Been. The music. So. In. The. Lead it was. Cold as would drinking whiskey and staying Be the day that I. Think it's a radio show it's done McLean and America like. A public show. And I want to see way you are. Doing great. And if someone's a Christmas card say struck gold right on the phone I love. It I mean she's just no Christmas party where all your lying where are you I'm so excited it's. Probably when you. Didn't play ball she said there will be Christmas Day at Wembley. Make me. Gag a full. Now what do you get in a ruby Christmas party have you if you've seen it before do you know what's coming no no I. Did not. Yeah. You definitely go oh yeah. Oh Ok and who's Did the about. Oh No Ok rural Right so you just get to get a whole lot of rope he was a lot over the weekend was Nate it was you know you know all the money. And yet he's on fire at the minute O.P.'s me on if we saw people sleeping on. My subs over Opie global domination wherever I look I was there for a channel Robi's on and if he's not doing me I'm sure he's floating something for one of the same problem with their era. You are going to have an amazing talent we have. To be a lovely pictures while you've all got your drinks in your eye scrape I think. Yeah . Which I tell you what just for you you can introduce Christmas songs you want to introduce a. Night. And. Have an amazing time. Well it's not Jamie Cullum yet. I know you going to hit this lawyer. But the rest of us will just have to put up with the record but have a pretty good time there I. Have the Right. Yes Sleep. To Radio with Michelle on the move now today I've got a little fun coats in it so working out poorly and. Well through December for 24 days we shall we have the working living every calendar are put together by the more arts and the working with him Council so 24 days of music . In different venues throughout working and so through the week guys from Monday to 4 I have a half an hour performance from 6 or 630 and then on the weekends I have 4437 Sunday I'm pretty much it's like an event you go on to the more arts live working living in every county and you look at the day that's coming up and then you Fournier who's actually performing at the venue on that day and everyone knows who the venues are and all of it put together and all the are accident put together and no one knows who's going to be performing you can actually go on their website and you can see all the charities are involved because it's a charity by East. Event and it's a musical event or performance of pain so nobody knows who's going to perform and then you can go on the Web sort you can click on that guy and you'll see who's performing but don't have the website or the acts and all the charities that are performing throughout the whole bit but you won't know who's going forward right away so we've got to me play in front of your face. So today's Choose the 7 tapes and at 6 o'clock where are we to know we are the jig's head on which is just up the road here and Adrian Tylox I think Tyler is the. The landlord and and with his Was Julie on. At the moment it's going to be a special it's not because Julie are. Suffered a stroke of the bears 4 weeks 4 weeks ago and she's in recovery room enough that's not really a really good thing I don't want to sort of mention the writer but I'm sure he'll understand you know we will. We will be there to support him and and to bring awareness to that. Charity and also to you and then we've got a big name clients like who jacks and out which is a poor place and there are often volley player piano player and girl singing yes Dukes jigs if you love you see you know you need to believe. Well it was just time to lurk so London may see only sun the floor underneath each day here shows you the charity that they're supporting which is quite safe the tonight and tomorrow it's the box lol and search and rescue a lot and then stay at following day you supporting the only young foundation here of which I used to be the patron Oh my Larry I think there's a range that we're very familiar and aren't there yet you know there. Really is. One of those all these things all these charities are really heartfelt you know because you can really understand war it was the help was needed in every situation and that's something happens in annoyance when when you do the charity specially when we're the only foundation we count that help fill that emotion and you know what a family must go through losing a child. Thing you know people believe through it and to lift people up with music is what it's really all be on to lift up and awareness of the situation and hopefully we can raise some money to the church to certain charity to help that was on a. Road. These people. Look a time when wrong Listen the so-called black cab rapist has been jailed for life with a minimum time of 6 years after admitting for further attacks a decision by the parole board last year that John Walker boys could safely be released led to more victims coming forward the judge at the Old Bailey said it's not clear if it will ever be safe to free the 62 year old lawyer Richard school represents some of his victims well for a welcome life sentence today the real concern is that he could be out after only a few years that he'll go back to the parole board and put a case for being released after only 6 years and that's a real concern to the victims the manufacturer while Paul has apologised to customers softer it announced the recall of more than half a 1000000. Hotpoint and Indus it washing machines which could catch fire Adam French a consumer rights expert from which says the company should go further than it has to address the problem were poor only offering to repair or replace those affected machines what we really want to see here is people being offered a refund to be honest and to be given the freedom to move away from a brand from a manufacturer this cause so many problems in the past get their money back and spend the order model they're much happier with the wife of a man who was stabbed to death with a screwdriver in Newcastle city center has called the attack senseless and unprovoked human Island who was 17 when he killed Peter Duncan in August has been told he'll spend at least 15 years in prison Detective Chief Inspector Jane Pham is from Northumbria Police I think one of the most shocking elements of this crime is the fact that it was in such a public place so no major shopping center and in our city center and I actually would probably have all have that feeling that she could have been any one of us walking home from work like Peter was simply walking home from work to take the bus for Caroline Flack says she won't present the upcoming series of Love Island after being charged with assault it follows an incident at the 40 year old's home last week she's doing court on Monday i.t.v. Says it excepts her decision but will stay in contact with her about future series Emma
