Thanks Dave. North Biggleswade at the Sandy roundabout We've got emergency repairs going on there is one lane closed traffic is coping well following a bore water main today on that as it develops where he can best to avoid that area in Cambridge in the 14 and westbound drive train road to by hill the road are closed there because of road works Caxton roundabout giving us problems again as between the Campbell park and urban streets south is queuing traffic there queue times of up to about 10 minutes there and finally the friend causeway between Germany to road. Numerate it's heavy traffic also expect after each extra traffic on the a 14 because the races at Huntington racecourse if you spot a queue and it's legal and safe to do so I think it's a call on our 80859596 this is day 21 of the b.b.c. Radio Cambridge to travel. From b.b.c. One it's Elton John almost answered I went to the bottom just where I am on the pounds I'll buy from where I look back into the impressive career of Elton John I'd like to become a legend but I don't think I will be because they're so very very special here is honest conversation when I left home for the 1st time it was Sunday like unleashing the beast in this exclusive interview with me Graham Norton what was the industry reaction like nobody ever wrote about it in fact I think I chickened out because I was bisexual Elton John uncensored next Thursday night at 9 on b.b.c. One coming up here on b.b.c. Radio came into its own new search of McDonnell talking about his autobiography playing tennis at his age and also getting that tour of the White House it is a pre recorded interview I knew. Just. Joins the sis morning an improbable life the autobiography said How are you this morning I'm very very well thank you very much it's a great pleasure thank you for having me and thank you very much. For this travel MacDonald an improbable life yes if you don't mind me saying said Trevor you've still got it you look amazing Well you're very kind I don't always feel that way early in the morning but it's nice of you to say so do you feel 80 or do you still feel like the the young lad that came over to England thrust itself into into journalism in British life I definitely don't feel like the young lad. I played my if you look at my my to my tennis playing you would realise that I'm no longer a young young lad it's much slower game somebody like in the game we play now in tennis to chess except they said it's much slower. No no but I I wanted to do to write this book for a long time and you know the fact that I reached his age had nothing to do with it really but you know it's a good time anyway when I received this book Trevor sorry Santa tracker I thought it would be more like a tomb because the people that you've met the life that you've lived you could fill maybe 3 times the size of this but does that mean there's going to be some sequels coming up I doubt it I don't think it's been you know a labor of love getting through this bit I'm not too sure I can do it again although I do like I said somebody said this I hate writing I love to have written and I must confess I understand what that means because I think there is a viewer feeling you know I get location is that I'm so glad that this is over and it's not too bad having written so maybe but I'm not contemplating you know immediately writing anymore. You have such a beautiful attitude relaxed attitude to life I wonder have you ever been angry Has that ever been someone that you've talked to interview this actually made you angry . Oh I get angry all the time but not about people actually about situations I get angry about watching people suffer during wars I get angry about watching children . You know in countries where you cover famines I get angry about all kinds of violence against perpetrated against people who have had no say a toll in what caused the conflict in the 1st place but you don't necessarily have to show that against or in any way to the people that you're talking to I get angry at the situations so travel MacDonald The Improbable Life the autobiography is out now let's play a track and we'll come back. Martin writes. The master Arai would run. To kill him didn't. He. Jumps her up. Cause there's something smaller. Unplug. To let me run slow long. Lucky. To travel don't is still with us this. In the hallowed halls where people from all over the world would just come would mean who would talk about news what was going on there area and then becoming the 1st black anchor of a news program here in the u.k.
