B.b.c. Introducing came ashore with Ellen a lot on b.b.c. Radio came to share. 'd 'd head of the sold out hometown gig on Wednesday night at the junction that was Tommy on the Bravia is on and the new single The music video for the track is out now and it is brilliant you have to go and check it out and stay tuned as well because next week will be sharing a very exciting live session from the band recorded at the legendary made of our studios. So welcome to the show it's nice b.b.c. Introducing Hey on b.b.c. Radio it's very exciting one as well tonight as we have the very 1st play of such light a single set to be released next Saturday. Like us tonight and dropping off introducing onslaught on safari aligned this way you've got the ever basically who's doing everything around the same gesture still Goldblum. And so much new music tonight as always good music lined up from the likes of computer Airways Rhonda brand new tracks from. A dog I cannot write. All the usual ways to get touched not as well as a wonderful 3 starting message See I am on the tax I come straight through to mayhem in the studio and you can find us on Twitter Facebook and Instagram just such b.b.c. . Live Go blame for now if you like May and you know now it's been wintry in those nice a drawing and so easy to get a bit sleepy this time of night but kicking off with casual and then following up with thought wow that just pumps energy into I'm Jess right from the band was throwing the responsibilities of leaving a message on our introducing onza fired. From like Obama like him said and that's what the from guitar has to say about himself on the b.b.c. Introducing. 9 6 introducing on the phone. Line Well maybe my name is. I'm the hardest vocalist from go boom facing Cambridge. Goldbloom we are in with Hanif music band for 3 k. Who have played elements of a lot of different genres but sometimes grungy things sometimes called the thing and you think I'm for about 4 and a bit years you know a couple of influences for the band but people like Ruben pop a hole. In the. Cloud nothing and one way to meet the band go over them are coding some demos and hopefully going to a new e.p. Early to mid next year we'll see how it goes and to be a bit more I struck a bit more hate and fear lyrically and me as a past than most proud that what's right and take on the film but it's some talk about myself. As a 1012 year old our youth are right my own wrestling ripple I really like English as a kid I really like writing and I really like. To read the record and then write my own just for my own personal practice I'd like to pass the on phone on Jacob Nicholas who is a musician and it's just started that let's go and come and go in the local same. Modern gas by actual genius Sam Basso who goes by the name of look no computer rather an ironic name because he does everything on various scents mult it much in a sense he's got is also one which he sort of rigs for Gameboy just to create music is incredible that track will be getting its 1st play on Radio one tomorrow night on he Steven Cherry from 11 pm One of the other local bands is receiving a lot of national attention recently op each base for peace ads this year that have 6 Music. On my computer and they're even before been featured on the introducing round up on Jools Holland shy that new single comes out next week and I caught up with him for a chat b.b.c. Introducing came. Down and I play guitar and I'm a z. I play it out I sing and sing I play but drums and as been a huge day exciting year for you guys tell us a bit so in summary about all the exciting things you've been up to its been crazy we have. Lots of gigs and February it was all like fast propagate. Forget that was it here you can see it which as well yeah the start of the shit I was with them history and I was really good fun and like the gates and then we did some record in now with but you know single my music with it so you went up to live report it to your recording my writing thinking what do you have to live for what why did you she's got that record. We really want to record with Bill right to Jones because he recorded a lot of artists but we're very fond of basically you know. We didn't we didn't actually expect to end the recording with him so it was quite a pleasant surprise when we got the email back yeah it's really cool did you just put the feelers out contact him they are you know we won't work with you and then you know what was that was the process behind going through and choosing him to record with I think the album was the reason that we wanted to because it's collectively like a really important album to us so I just thought you know well I'm just going to email them and see what they say and. They got back in the next in July we were recorded so we were all really surprised. We just saw we give it a go but we didn't actually expect it to happen so yeah yeah he said they get like 2 into 2 or 3 bands and a day and he only gets to record like 10 under 10 a year because he's on tour as well because he's a artist busy guy yeah is so crazy I just felt very lucky to be picked by him and it was so nice to see you make the most of that experience I know you did your debut videos every day. I just really showed the personality of the bond Yeah it's a bonding act exercise your how was law Yeah we were all in. The same Abbey m.b. And we all got to hang out every night and it was it was really nice because Mimi and Tom lived together and we never pass it was nice to kind of have that full bond house for a week just feels like a holiday to be honest. Fortune harmonies overnight. I mean going. Back to that recording side of things this year we've seen pretty much quite a steady stream of releases for you and uploads is not something that you're looking to continue Yeah absolutely just keep popping them on but we've got another release in March so hopefully some more music then and then hopefully in the studio next year to work on some new stuff so I definitely keep it going Yeah we're trying to just keep in the cycle go and keep up the pace Yeah and let's talk about one of those really says not one that will play tonight but one that we've given quite a lot of effort on the show has also been played on 6 Music into May What's it like getting that national recognition for a team like 6 Music it's crazy I've always been I've always loved Tom Robinson he played my music years ago when he started fresh on that I think. I'll play not the 2nd ever so it's crazy to be played like. He is they have the support from this project because it is the best and that must be very encouraging for not just the rest of the band as well having the experience and having that backing it must really a fabulous faith in the music you're putting out there we don't just listen you know it spurs us on to to get in there and write because sometimes write ins hearts are so good mind you so that it always happens to come at the right time because when Where have been like a dry spell something like that happens and then it gives us that power to keep going because we absolutely love it when we say yes really cool and what other motivators do you have to keep it going you know whether it's either free dry spells or whether it's just you know just to create new music and keep that constant flow going I think we just want to build upon what we've already done and we just want to evolve keep rebranding keep put out new better stuff of unknowns mainly what we want to do and just try new things get experiment. If we get. It so I think it's about time we had one of your tracks another track that we've absolutely adored playing on the share and I must say every time this track comes on I will buzz free to produce them outside we were saying pretty much all of it I said. Thank you for giving us those memories every time we play is called sleeping and tell us about the motivation behind this track and what led you to record this one was the 1st ever one that we wrote so. Me and wanted to start project we had no idea that it would turn into suds and had this kind of loose law on which was sleeping in and then a series is in Tom got involved like. That was yeah and feels very nostalgic for me . Because the 1st one's It's like a little baby. So it's always a good one to play live as well it's just it's what I like most energetic so yeah yeah. Yeah Maisie's sorry Maisie's very sleepy so that's where the right because I know. What's it like you know having on those older tracks and building on that in fleshing out you know what's it like you know if it is possible to tell you and it's grown about that and bringing people into that situation what was that like I think it just adds to even more because we had no I did it was going to sound the way it did you know Izzy. Flower which is amazing and Tom's just a rock gold. Changed even more and then it just became sort of collectively I think he did sound quite a bit different I mean. Fast as we were trying to find out sound a level yeah I know what it would. So why. Do you say this is sleeping you. That was leaving him by sides and 3 of the band join me now good evening guy. So let's talk about that one of the main reasons where has and I and that is your latest relays your new track which is coming out on the 7th of December it's called you feel better tell us a bit about this track and what led you to record is it one of those tracks that you recorded like we sang out there are 4 yes it is we did record it with Bill. When did we write it. Was it one of the I think it was one of the fast ones that we were. Oh definitely I think it will probably be fast one. Maybe 3 Yeah the 1st one we wrote after. It suits me well which was the came out and it kind of led the direction. Of how we wanted the next e.p. To sound I would say it's a little bit moody. And has a completely different feel than a nasty p. We kind of say that it seems to me well it's like summer and then this is a bit more or Tom No. I don't agree yeah. Those kind of seasonal vibes and making their seasonal changes something that you're going to continue throughout your span is about and you kind of just happened I mean it's I don't like it and I think it's going to roll of it. For me it's kind of it's always been a feat Yeah I've always loved writing about that kind of stuff and how in the music I reflect my space that kind of just felt right yeah I think I feel like with your writing as well it's quite poetic So it kind of fits about quite nicely and we touched on the idea slightly but what are some of the key things you write about is it always going to pass an experience stuff is always going to emotional stuff you know was something that you know your key motivators for writing and what inspires you to put up and on paper I think my experiences you know other people's experiences some of the songs especially this one. It's kind of. Collectively of lot of things and one and what we're saying is that it's quite poetic in the sense that like I think it's quite ambiguous I think we all have a connection like a unique connection to it I mean something different to all of us sort it it's not like a kind of I would say as a narrative it is about this and this happens and it's this is kind of more abstract I think I mean there's certain themes and stuff I guess but for figures different for all of us you know and as you mentioned earlier a music video coming out with that. How do you you know when you are 4 pace how do you come about figuring out what I mean is it is going to be about yeah how do you how do you. Yes I know you like music videos for me or something super enforce and I and I just I mean or anyone who is in more than a soloist you can put all those ideas together it's that must be so many ideas between the 4 Yeah we've come up with some really stupid ideas and really I'm just here about models but it's going to fit what we try to do is just something that we can do because we do we try to do reffing ourselves as like kind of like a d.i.y. Effort but sometimes I think we have to like stuff like slow down a bit like Ok we need to dislike simplify all of these ideas because it's not we can't pull off a life that doesn't like it is now was going to be some sort of narrative to this music video that we were all going to act we were all going to weigh cost to you it was going to be funny and we just realized that we can't execute because we're all really you know we. Should have fired actors and yeah we should oh. We did this one in a studio is a film. And we kind of made the concept. Definitely takes a while but what we get there and it's actually lots of fun recording us and I wasn't stressful or anything I just had to it yeah which is how of it instead of stress I was shopping. And I just that visual side and that visual pairing with the music is something that we can expect more from me I think so yeah we love it we try and I mean we try and do everything ourselves from like film and build in this to you know everything like choosing the colors we try and put a lot of thought and. To continue to do that yes definitely I think will be. Thanks . Specifically reverse means to be there. Just trying to make it as an and staining as possible that's visually in tune to the song I sing or have a song about that but 1st let's talk a bit more about what your plans are for the next year what can we expect from your music wise can we expect you're in a pay day you looking as far into the future as an album what you guys got planned . So in the new year we're going to be. Bringing out an e.p. Which you'll feel better will be on as well and we're hoping to do another music video. And then and then it will be back in with the write in and hopefully in the summer we'll be back in the studio again not sure who we were going to go with yet but. Where excited to start writing again and can smoke chains on and also get in as well told Yeah yeah it would be really cold to go on a tour with someone I think like financially we could probably pull it off it's just find in a band that have us the show this is our play. So we'll go on tour we go out fingers cross because I know you so many people would love to see you go out and Toll live not just people based in the county but obviously you know with the support you've had from 6 Music and also while we're touching on it slightly Jools Holland as well yeah. What were you what did you feel like when you when you receive that you know when you saw everything go out we had what did that feel like it was crazy and I had a conversation about like we used to grow up watching it every week so many of my like favorite artists or bands I really go into I found because of it was all and so it's one of the 5 when I like about one of the 1st things I do as I type into You Tube I tighten like Jools Holland life this is you know it's there's just a bit strange and completely forgot we're going to be on it like you told me I mean like recordings they don't like I just dream it. But yeah I mean it's just another. Yet another thing to Sherry that you've got. So many people would love to see you to see branch out and do more live gigs around the county and around the country so let's say your life's release now your new track you'll go back to introduce a brand new single. Take . You. Takes. The Lead. . You'll feel. The latest single from sod's that comes out next Saturday How amazing is that we will definitely be given the track sorry many more spins on the show everybody says the sun will never stop. So you know the way in the game was. So I lay I mentioned that computer on his outstanding track morning gas is going is fast play on Radio one tomorrow night with you Stevens from 11 pm and to add to that last time I played our eyes and out of luck is also a game played on you Stephen show is such an exciting time for the scene honestly when we got the most free saying here's game played on so hyped to see came a chair that competing I'm really pushing for the immense amount of talent and really high quality music we have so nice to say the incredible talent like I said just being reflected nationally and my sister was awful my Pick of the up I just rest until night because the operator we're hoping goes just as far and on b.b.c.
