I mean what other subjects closer to the movie of the more you go to do with the more confusing just to be honest Natural England the government body which assigned special status is already considering an application made in 2015 with the decision to some time after April the Russian embassy in London says 80 people in the form of diplomats and their families would leave the U.K. Today the government expelled 23 diplomats following the nerve agent attack in Solsbury Russia has also closed the British Consulate in some piece of Berg and the British Council in Moscow the Labor leader Jeremy Corbyn has told the B.B.C. a Relationship with Russia should be maintained if we're dealing with something so serious as this I don't think we need people shooting the hip we need people to recognize the danger recognize the seriousness and ask the very hard questions which is what they did last week Network Rail has been fined more than 700000 pounds following the Darrelle mint of a freight train neg last 5 years ago an empty container weighing 6 tons came off the train in October 2030 in it fell down an embankment throwing debris into the road below the office of rail and road said net rail network rail was aware of the track to fax but it's short and medium term repairs were ineffective it said is was extremely fortunate the loose container didn't fall into the path of an oncoming train or in just someone Police him mention Hampton are trying to trace a group of people who crashed their truck whilst trying to steal an excavator last Thursday evening airfield on now lane offenders loaded up a trailer with the digger and 2 excavated buckets and after being chased by a member of the public they crashed the truck and then ran off and finally the world's last surviving male northern white rhino has died after months of ill health Sudan who was 45 years. I was put to sleep yesterday his death that leaves me 2 females of the subspecies his daughter and granddaughter a life in the wild and I look at the weather across the county there's often a more a main draw it with Fed the spouse of sunshine along with areas of cloud and highs of 8 degrees Celsius and that's the B.B.C. News for its 3 minutes past. But. One of them. Here. B.B.C. Writer Gloucestershire all is well in the world. Dominic Carter B.B.C. Radio Gloucestershire. Normal service resumed If there is a normal service on the lunchtime show. Last night incredible experience I have to say. The. Brand new to the town incredible investment 4 and a half 1000000 pound investment. It was the big launch last night as the breaks up press night those communities screaming I think it was Friday night was not. If you want what they're putting on. It's secret garden but not maybe as you've seen it before just extraordinary course last week we spoke to some of the cast including Danielle Piper who plays Mary but anyway last night it was the big show literally everybody was there including Daisy Cooper who of course plays Carrie in this country what did she think of it is the show I ever see any show anywhere and I mean why bother going to London when it comes time to step on to Sydney away it is an incredible story the this prisoner with you in the home to these unbelievably talented I mean that man is going to die and Maisie is once I tell you no he hasn't got big headed your way but he will do so. You know I'm so proud to be involved in a little while actually over the last couple of years just kind of finding out how it's going to be what's going to happen it all happened last night we'll talk to him on the telephone in a manner and also to some of the people who were hurt here on B.B.C. Radio show. B.B.C. Radio Gloucestershire. And also our lunch break is in the studio just after 1 o'clock today. Lovely lady from which. The chief executive all of. The. B.B.C. Radio Gloucestershire right 14 minutes past 12 it is Tuesday afternoon with Dom good to have you along if you want to get through to show any part whatsoever it's all 145-230-7575 Now last week the team at the barn theatre in silence sister were getting very excited ahead of their 1st production last night at the big press night after a special community screening last week I'm talking about the secret garden it was incredible showing till the middle of April so lots of time to say it's a hard 4 and a half 1000000 pound investment in Siren sister and of course so much to thank the artistic director you and Lois for and he sort of taught a little bit about the theater and the production itself. I feel really confident the work is good the work is great in fact and I'm pretty emotional said the best of times but I saw a run through in the studio the other day and I was in absolute pits so I was a bit embarrassed walking out after doing a little bit of a speech to the cast and saying how proud I am to sort of get to this point and it has been a hard slog for 3 years to get this theatre off the ground but the most important thing for me is that we are producing the most exciting theatre work in the country and I know that's going to continue and get better and grow and like a bit like The Secret Garden and it's you know I think it's really really exciting focus. Sassoon because we're in this community to be at the the you know the the frontier of exciting theatre and it's happening right here on our doorstep I will talk to you again on the line in just and also we spoke to some of the casting clued in Daniela Piper who plays incredibly strong part Mary in secret garden. So I know a regional story the backbones of a still the same so it starts with. Mary Lennox his parents died in cholera in India so she has to come. To you live with her Uncle Archibald who is grieving the loss of his wife Lily and her job is kind of to come in to see how she fits in and to kind of bring happiness back into the house so we've kind of kept that no story there but the original production is quite big it's quite epic musically and things so what we've done is really tried to kind of strip it back just to the the bare bones of the story itself and the message is in the themes in a proper place Mary and Secret Garden right lots of people there last night including Daisy Cooper who of course plays Carrie in this country in fact she's got a big night hopefully lots of award winning but anyway what did she think of it is the show I ever see of any show any western show I mean why bother going to London when you come to spy or insist on a sick leave me away it is an incredible story the prisoner with you in the hole to he's unbelievably talented I mean that man is going to go amazing places is once watched a time in the country it's one of those things you think Am I in the middle of solids as to during the week saying a production of a Western standard this is of was like oh my god forget the west and this is the old way this is I mean unbelievable busy and I was just so. I was pulling my hands out and I've never I've never cried. Yeah expectations I'm from you were they kind of mine or not old you know I see the rehearsal and I went to go and see something at the parish church the damn good a Christmas spectacular but before that I thought it was going to be Amtrak and city budget on my gods don't buy the goods. Or you said or talk about Expect stations this country did you ever expect it to be so. Well I don't know except to leave science to society know the local people what I mean yeah I know it's been the feedback it's been amazing and we're so happy and lucky this is happy because it seemed a long time since it was commissioned in the 2nd series No I mean it was a just I mean it took his past 7 years to make so to find get to this point is. It's been quite a journey Yeah I just feel that a long time and carries kind of evolved as a character a little bit more vulnerable in the series she is a lot more vulnerable you're going to see some sad moments and think with her dad coming out this sort of an requited love story. But a good time for. Moment spent with this country and the. Absolutely I was talking about doing in this country production like a punch thing with the cast is going to be done I mean it's a talented combine to have a good show you ball a bit more things you love me some could see those lovely took. Place Kerry of course in this country what an evening she's got in store it's the role Television Society warts tonight this country of course filmed in north which is the most nominated program really looking forward to finding out how they tell you tonight you hear about them are coming. But anyway we thought we ought to get you in on the lawn of the south and then you unless the artistic director of the band say I don't think you've heard all of that how do you know it no I hadn't It's absolutely amazing there were people think of us is incredible Yeah a little bit later on in the show we're going to hear from a in an Crissy calling but just tell our listeners who they are and how important they are for the story rather fundamental to the story in a Chrissie than we can of than any of this without them they have put their retirement on hold to help us achieve our dreams of their dreams of really being the arts gain in the Cotswolds and sciences and they have 2 fundamental beliefs and that is the power of theater and the arts and bringing on young talent and supporting young people and they've they've combined both into this you know when they took a punt on a 26 year old former actor to you know to try and it's help them achieve their dreams of a theater in science as they could have gone with somebody experience but they went with me which is bonkers but with. I'm so glad they did was allowed to have what Daisy Cooper was saying from this country it's incredible it's incredible She she is the go to person in comedy and British screenwriting at the moment and for her to be saying those sorts of things about our you know French or that he was the 1st day after only a day one they were already there so I'm just thinking you know what we need to up the ambitions now let's go bigger and go back and as David said we are already talking about collaborating on something and they know that combination of this country Daisy and the band theatre that could be something that goes big time yeah we mentioned that you had a clip of Daniela Piper who plays Mary but let's break up the rest the cast quickly I know they came in last way but they all every one of them just incredible last night there is no place to hide in that. In the original production of The Secret Garden which when I was in the U.K. Was at the Royal Shakespeare Company had more than twice as many customers in it so there's nowhere to hide to this cast every single person in it is so vital and they all you know that they don't let the ball drop whatever they keep the momentum going and they just tell a story so beautifully and every one of them is incredible I think it's important that we tell people listening exactly where where where the theater Razan actually is a lot more than a face so you go still toll last night and it's neverending It's incredible the place you know and it's a complex it's a really is a complex and you know it's opposite the beaches carpark and sirens after so it's you know great accessibility and it's part of the old Ingleside school building that's the angles that house and it really is it's a full destination theatrical experience and that's what we're trying to achieve so you can go for you appreciate a meal at the actual bar and restaurant which on a Friday night Saturday you can have live entertainment dairies and and then you just have to walk down the corridor and you walk straight into the foyer of the barn theater and that again the backstage that I don't think I got to show you around the whole place but we've got rehearsals studios Studio Theatre dressing rooms and you know the whole lot back stage yeah the thing that's important to say actually that you know that when I say it's it needs to make money I understand that the theater needs to make money but that still a there's a huge sort of charity side to this isn't that yeah well it is a charity and and again the the art is in such a difficult place at the moment I see every day on the news that theaters are actually closing and it's incredible that EON has an eon in Chrissie of taking a punt on a venture that all of their heads probably says. No don't do this but their hearts are too big on this project was too exciting for them not to do it at this time and hopefully it'll just bring a little bit of joy in this current economic climate definitely we hear from them about quarter they wanted to they were saying some nice things from. Lots of other people that last night. Verity Rushworth was that mountain town she was she was yeah yeah it's great to get that sort of how are you playing her off of Adele and of course Kinky Boots now in the Western Yes she is yeah she's doing amazing such a talented versatile actress from musical theater to do you know soap opera acting she's incredible and again company leave the comments that are coming out to you know these people who I admire and respect in the industry yeah you did so well last night because you were chatting to vary but actually it's a big it's a big night you can eat a bottle it has there's so much enthusiasm you need to kind of bottle it and take it on and use it for the next few months and get people that for sure and I've worked up this morning and I filled up the notebook full of notes of all the things the things that have gone wrong. You know the the way this is going to work and and I don't know. If it's just me but I think that we just always got to strive to improve and to be bigger and better and bolder every single day and the thing that I know with the team that we've got here we all are 100 all anough to look at ourselves and think right how can we make this a little bit better every single day. I think we're all blubbering a little bit times during it's just extraordinary production thank you so much and a few come out that goes on till the 15th of April for the moment that it does yes and if there is a big rush of tickets we will we will extend it we want to make sure that everyone who wants to see this show gets a chance to see it and you know the reviews are starting to come in today now and they're absolutely thrilled and hopefully. People from all over the place will come to see it but we're particularly want to get those audiences from the local area because this city is risky Well you can add Daisy Cupertino reviews now. I wouldn't go anywhere else I said but I said it's west and she said no it's not blow by. What we're going to feature on a road trip when I come back from America actually because you don't have great work there thank you very much indeed you know thank you thank you so much and thank you for all your support no worries you and Lois the artistic director of the theater in Siren sister and I sound enthusiastic because it's brilliant go along and see if you camp goes on for the 15th of April tickets 14 pounds 28 pound bomb theater to all dot U.K. Or give them a call the box office number is and I know it's that I'm because I called it this morning to check I want to wait 56 for right 255-012-8564 right 255 as I more about the bar a little bit later on in the show travels next because we love to. Do this to the. Second ball. 7 shop push push. And the best B.B.C. A rated lost to it is Tuesday afternoon with whatever has the weather decided what is going to do in the next few weeks joy this afternoon spells of sunshine somewhat milder clear tonight with the widespread Frost again I'll just put the frost cover away get out again now it's going to cover that love to come out again and maximum temperature today of up to 8 degrees Celsius the saving tonight Dr and I any remaining cloud slowly moving away to allow some lengthly clear spells light winds a widespread air frost will develop some patchy freezing fog in places minimum down some minus 4 overnight tomorrow a frosty and bright star expected to Wednesday and I think it's going to get milder as the week goes on which is crying as mentioned the Secret Garden at the panther and sound system really really incredible shot last night and if you're thinking well I'm not going to chance to go you will because it's going on the 15th of April directed by Dominic Shaw and you heard you in Lewis on as well the art. Cystic directs a great set to make them all and that was a great cost there including of course. People like Tacey Cooper who plays Carrie in this country who is that a really really important night for her as well at the role Television Society will it's tonight and across this country filmed in North lakes the most nominated written by and star silences the siblings die easy and Charlie K. Patton It's not full of breakthrough award comedy performance comedy writing unscripted comment they really good luck to them or find out how they did have feel the pressure show tomorrow morning. Right in Gloucestershire 26 minutes to one. Lol. Lol. Lol. Lol. Lol just blame it all maybe save my dick last issue right looking forward to catch up with Colleen. Who's a chief executive all while child the child by snow chance of sexual should have a not so with him in just. Some of the topics we will talk about a little bit later on really kind of slightly worried to read that story about the taxi hailing out who has suspended sense of itself driving cars in North America after one of them killed a protest and we'll look at that story in a bit more detail and the key to exercise when it comes to exercising millions of the country's older people giving young people a run for their money by hitting the gym striking yoga poses and playing sports at 70 plus which is brilliant according to research by the roll voluntary service nearly 80 percent of over seventy's regular exercise more than half of over 70 say they can touch their toes and 3 quarters have no problem walking a mile or more. Well that puts us to shame just. Talk a little bit more about that to call in tough Well child and also we love having Lettie tongue in the studio as well a volunteer radio winds come the community station and does all sorts of other stuff too they'll be here in a while. Little bit more from the. Is the. 4 and a half 1000000 pound investment in sound system. You are hearing from the artistic director. Louis a few moments ago we'll hear from some of the people who are supporting it next. You. 10 cease a B.B.C. Radio show Dennis in China a photo of a few moments ago high tannish he came enjoying the snow in the shorts we love and yet he just saying that I can't leave the photos on your e-mail with the pictures of him in the snow I'm not sure I have all of a look at that but if I have got them tweet them out shortly thank you so much I can't believe cost yet we still have a little bit more of the white stuff yesterday I think that's probably going to be overdone as we head towards Easter although I shouldn't say that because you never know what might happen with our weather we were talking to the whole scene for the theater and siren sister uncredible incredible investment this I think is to be an old scow originally and it is just extraordinary what they've done there's an incredible kind of entrance and incredible theater there's a restaurant down below in a bar and all of and they really want it to be a community facility for the whole of sour and Secret Garden showing until the middle of April you heard from some of the cast and you heard from the artistic director you and Louis about 20 past 12 but what about the people who who really believed in it in the 1st place well I met a couple of them last minute I'm Christian counseling and I'm a trustee and it's healthy it's it certainly is I know
