The opera house and all I can remember I was asked to go down down below the stage where they actually stored all the costumes and bits and pieces yes. And would I go down and. Buy small saying and I'm all I can remember going down the steps is really sort of a heavy door and I thought gorgeous. So hard. It. Just went into the room turn right and so on something. One of these porcelaine. Yeah it went back in the book. Yeah people not they couldn't have known they didn't do it. Now I know but it's something that lives with me forever you know it must mean . You know obviously you're not going to go to circuses and if you go to a fare or flight to going to be you know a little mindful of the fact that maybe a clown but you know they can pop up in the most obscure place you know bookshops for example yes that's right I mean I even when they show the snowy. Shows a big Mickey Mouse Yes That gives me the same feeling. The slice is so big and it's sort of green doesn't it you know that's front like. I want on things like children in the day when people dress up and often you'll see people in that sort of fancy dress you know maybe with a bucket and trying to collect some money if you saw one of them standing outside a shop you're about to go into what would you do. Oh I would probably be all right because I know the people around you and it's just a flashback not run off. Not being you know a very harsh light. And it was a what also say what background site Yes and it just didn't know me so quick and also you know you only be in what this thing would be in life size and he would probably adult Yeah right but I tell you I went up the steps quicker than I can down. The road. Whatever clumsy things have before Le in your life then Joe. Oh my husband said I married him I. Think you should be shouting out do you suppose if you do Oh that's right but he's clumsier than I am. My you for each other. For you. Know me at the clown sometimes I mean nice right now. But you know that you know we've never had really that's going to get all we need now is some sort of elements on the challenge which demands a DUI and you have your husband only one problem with this one Nope I wouldn't get a word in edgeways. Never would you say that but he's been very quiet we have chatted about the ball strong. I don't. Like you so much I mean look let me have a couple on the phone exactly who you are thank. You . Then. stories of films that have stayed with you for well good or ill Yes absolutely want to know the ones that really look deeply affected you need probably expected them to when you went to see them at the cinema maybe it's video you highlight the probably shouldn't done when you were little You're a bit cheeky in rentable they say teens willingly go to a shop down the road to do so that was the thing that you went to I'm going to 90 plus the pro. That was the one that was on every high street that was how we watch movies and 10 years later everything's changed and now it's all new streaming up some things but was that something that you looked at me when you were maybe a little bit too young to do so. And for that reason it terrified you or just made a different pressure on you than it might have done otherwise had you waited were old enough to see it you know the funny thing that I remember from movies Close Encounters of the 3rd kind remember that for yes I do and the notes good. And the guy was it Richard Dreyfuss Richard Dreyfus who built mashed potato mounted Yep because he'd had some sort of vision so so but I was not yeah I think I am just saying finance exactly what you have 080756 double one double one is our number you can text us and tell us the film that's most deeply affected you on a 23 start us with the word Kent but producer Laura might call you back because we would like to get you on the air next 40 minutes Absolutely it is b.b.c. The team in an artist's house top of the roof moralism Good afternoon it's b.b.c. Radio with Waters law just give you a quick heads up we're going to play while I was last Christmas next hear a b.b.c. Radio if you're playing while we get. Right to the heads up for you that but we all talking today films that really mocked you and things. Like that's if there's one movie you still made when you were younger that's a 100 the biggest impression is that it tell us what it was maybe a really lovely kids' movie that you just cherish or what would your children tell you 80756 double one double one that you might remember our little while back on this program Lauren was reading the news and there was a story of a poor parent at the i.r.s. Pca who had been passed over by all of the possible you know sort of homes that were looking around for a new cat we said it was so sad we had a chat with the artist pca in Kansas bring about this now we've got an update Lin is on the line Hello Elaine afternoon and the pathfinding already very good listeners speak to you and you not only who weren't listening the 1st time around tell us about Toby also with the clothing in our care he came into our care January last year and it became very apparent very quickly that he wasn't coping in the cashew violence so we put him into an amazing foster home and but it was increasingly difficult to get and actually on the next step on which was to into his own home for several reasons he was a bit of a high though it was a bit worried so when people would go around we would hide under the bed and things like that so people who wanted a more interactive cat would see this. You know she is another cat because he wasn't what they thought he was it was what they will be able to so so we did a press release and o.c. You guys picked up and had militia which was that's it my thank you for that along with us is that last Thursday Mr Tobey went home to go home. In time to Christmas. And all of you had the updates yet about how he's settling into his new forever home yet as far as I know he's doing really well and I think. Going to be worried for a little bit because you get another new startling change. But you know he's now discovered the joys of being in a home and you know hopefully this settling period won't be quite as long as the last one and I just want to say a big shout out to all 4 strokes who did have been they did an amazing job with him and just provided him with that acuity that he needed for that length of time they were absolutely brilliant It's the busy time of year for you because obviously many people thinking they're doing the right thing will possibly give Paks over Christmas do you have any words of advice for people who are embarking on that all or maybe words of warning Lane Well there are several things I mean obviously Christmas is the one of the busiest times in your calendar year is not the best time to try especially in an animal into your home because you know you'll having more people ran around or you could be having hopefully nice big parties that's not the best time space cat into that environment also please consider rescue. You know when you can come to a rescue center especially in our space a rescue centers I will vaccinated one and. Microchip neutered health checks before they go you know exactly you know what you're getting. And also just have everybody involved in that decision if I know it's nice to say oh no we've got a kitten surprise but you know everybody might be on board and that's where the issue arises sometimes when someone says Well actually I don't want kids in the house and there's then that's when all doors open and the flood Couzin after Christmas. You know and you know on the upside the upside to your amazing taken us on to do a shout out to Toby is we was so inundated with people not just wanting to take Jose but wanted to take arrested cat and I have to say. I walking down the passage day I think we've got about 3 cats to rehearse are that follow it yes it has just gone all gone you mentally crazy or very right here there is really reassuring it's sad of course and you know after Christmas you really run off your feet again but at least you know well hopefully not I mean people are now understanding you know they know that pets are not the best with numbers and get Christmas out the way talk about it as a family and as a family if you do you want to pet contact your nearest rescue center and look at the cat that has been you know not just neglected but just given up for whatever reason you know sometimes it's just heart stopping that somebody has died and you know there is now a past the coming to a cattery That's all for for that so the family to have to go there at that time also says they are orphans and maybe had a very lovely home with someone for its entire life but finds itself facing a court in a category so can see the place give some thought to these animals that you could see you know taking out with care if you really want to do it you know have a have a pet in your family I did love that slogan that became quite a big thing in this year in fact in 2019 my favorite breed is rescue and now it's been music series and as Mr Marsh knows and many of our listeners say I've had a long string of rescue cats and I'm going to band my current fur baby Baxter over the Christmas period and you know what Lynne I'm so glad they did because that gave me the opportunity to give him a wonderful home and my life revolves around him he's a little ginger tom I love him to bits he is cheeky as ever and I couldn't live without him and that's the thing if people look at rescue centers you have no idea until you go down you know who's waiting there for you it could be the animal that's going to change your life that's why and the big thing about it is you don't know there's waiting for you because you might come in thinking you know what you want but the one that wants to go home with. If you will change you yeah that's true absolutely I mean that and that and that and that's how it works. But the other one we like and we like is you know a thought don't shop nice Well yeah you can get someone to have any other animals that they are speciate their encounters really and yet in can't we at the minute. We we do have the rabbit if anyone thinking of a lovely home to me for a couple of points here in the King for girlfriend personally one has a thing or thing now and I would like to take some bonding with the little boy and get the boy out with well. We do have 100 though we like within I think that you know they are the other big slogan apart it's not enough. And they need to hope around and have a an amazing life so if anyone's interested we've got a couple of dozen up and coming up in the house represent quite intrigued by that I think. Really do have quite you know really have helped. Press play they would have their very thing outside as well that would be lovely that they got played more importantly in Richmond. Not the natural but of. The natural behavior then. Yeah wonderful and so good to talk to you again and good new story have a good Christmas we're going to play one last Christmas so brace yourself for that thank you very much and Happy Christmas to you and Philip thank you and I hope to speak again. 25 to 3 b.b.c.
