I mean everything is up for grabs when it comes to the timeframe of the chairman of the Commons committee leads labor m.p. Hilary Benn says it's likely he'd vote for a new deal as long as people can have their say in another referendum if there is a deal reached and it is put to the British people so they can decide if they want to leave on that basis or on reflection to remain I think that should be the choice then or I would be prepared to do that many 3 mobile customers have been left without voice text and data access cheated technical difficulties the 3 mobile network says it's currently experiencing technical difficulties meaning some customers are experiencing intermittent service bundling is a communications expert visible part of that network is the bit if you look on a roof top by the side of the road streets you will see what we call the radio towers they all get connected op into a national network and eventually it gets into what we call the coal if you've lost as they've said voice text and data that is a coronary heart problem they've been scuffles between extinction rebellion protesters and commuters as a cheap station in London video shed on social media appears to show an activist being pulled from the roof of a cheap train heading Greensill some of the disruption as he went to where it seemed you know recently peaceful protest but the fact that I think they took over the chief annoy a lot of people I wasn't very close but I could see from a distance that some of our colleagues were trying to actually diplomatically get along with the help of some of the security guard station improvements and to Western being hindered by staff shortages seo inmates have to be locked up 24 hours a day a report by the Independent Monitoring Board it will stand there whether he says it's led to high levels of violent self harm and druggies despite the prison getting a share of 10000000 pounds from the government there Paul says the shortage of staff has also led to delays in family visits and few offices to take inmates to medical appointments events are taking place across the city to celebrate Liza. Tending a 100 years old this morning people who share a best day with the club have been invited to Salem Chapel where Leeds United was formed and tonight is a special black tie dinner as a warning to history in part of Lee's could be lost forever some things were done to save it historic England's added that the area around the ground his head to is at risk register it has heavy traffic empty shops and a loss of period details have left it looking unkempt and downtrodden. From historic England by putting this area on the register what we're seeing is that it's a it's an area we great potential It's an area we've great heritage but it's an area with issues which are basically got a downward trend and who does feel Giants have this morning announced the close season signing with the camp international forward James Galvatron a 2 year deal the 29 year old has been granted an early release from his contract with Newcastle Knights in the Australian an hour l b c news is 4 minutes past 10. The West Yorkshire weather b.b.c. Radio said morning a chilly albeit dry and bright star plenty of sunshine to the morning south westerly winds strengthening they gradually as we head through the afternoon we are going to pull up a few fairly heavy showers I think on that temperatures are going to reach about 14 Celsius today which is 57 in Fahrenheit. Station for your It's all yellow cards from Yorkshire are the epicenter of the you would have us that small stuff from a host show mocking the guy from apply to unlicenced in love. Lovely to pay up like a mild actually do you know I. Passed the day the studio and talked chewed and then . Tracy g. And j. And who produces the show here occasionally add popped into an all. You know if you if you maybe just found us here at b.b.c. Radio Leeds or maybe been a long time listener you'll notice that they kind of shifted a little bit would stop bringing some of those classic eighty's to fan and classic ninety's stuff just some of the stuff that doesn't get played and it's nice to hear them every so often is something that can just instantly you know I'm like I'm a regular since I'm a show you know music runs through my car I couldn't imagine living without it and I was talking about something on the show about Super Power Apparently one in 10 people claim to have special powers like the ability to read of this mind or a set. Of being able to do 3 loads of washing and. I can't seem to achieve the elusive 3 I can't do it all the someone did message actually 3 loads of wash. I must be amazing My record is 9 says Simon banks. David Cassaday I don't think it's that one of these no longer with us says I can multitask. Multitask Yeah. What else we've got Thank you so much. Tina says my face can tell people exactly what I'm thinking all railway resting so and so fast yeah I have the occasional a my pretty Sarah says she's really good at that Sheena says I can make the plant disappear. Staff regarding super powers I can look into a pitch inside and tell you whether it's a race. Distance. I want to put. Leads at the start. And a 1000000 trees. See. My a kid. For the work. B.b.c. My daily pink. And a 1000000 Dreams it's very special. Was was. A Leeds United States since he wrote b.b.c. Radio one say he had Does crowd nice says again not just must pay and a man who was on the very paycheck very good morning good morning Boston you know when you step on the page and you had you know you scarred and you had the wrong mighty whites wrong what was it just surreal it is one of the best feelings in sounds 11 as a football player I mean it's every kid's dream but to actually experience after scoring a goal is like a dream come true just madness madness just you know when you strike even inside on your knees have always thought that as we see some Polish do that keeps going to do I've never done that when I've scored a goal I used to have all this choreography for of a school to go we're going to do this and it just went so Paul they just did a lot of handguns in the air and that was a really good rubbish really Jellicoe you stalled I thought she contests can defeat if you do a should make the most of it. And so he played for English. As a teenager again Sheffield United the blades which was a 9393 fall from my shift your Wednesday Wednesday your Wednesday why Yeah what was that. Bit crazy because us to watch us at the time were just won the f.a. Youth Cup I think it was an antiquated week yeah yeah I mean and I was still playing and Gary Speed and David Bach is a person that over sudden I'm there on the fairway you know playing next you know my heroes in play with other coaches or is it was just the mats kind of even him but I really proud of him so obviously that's what you're I'm incidents are is you know about 1st same but when I someone I'm on the should I be traveling I'm playing Yeah there's my heart to start Bateson invasion and bass and was that moment when you saw wow if matter is that they say well you could apply just wonder. I mean put the show on television and I live my dream I'm going to die happy but yeah it was a moment of enjoyment and ecstasy and also worry because you want to point to perform and not let yourself down not let the manager and the players down it's like anything. You don't want to mess it up that you know yeah yeah you got it you know let me pressing it right but you get in the ball and yeah and the thing is when I became. A lot of people so I got to try and get it right and then I saw how far back does your association with oh gosh. When I was a young boy I'd go to my brother to watch the games and rode in fact my 1st time very nearly not not saying that because I was excited when I go into the cup and use of the standing berries stand and lean against and I was excited start charging up the stairs and smash my head into one of the barriers that was before the game in the game religion I scored I was standing on the exit down where the steps are you can stand on the exit signs and you just kind of hold on and let's go and my brother went open shit and hit me in the face with the elbow and I fell off so it was memorable because we won't. Remember. Because it was a painful night. We still got the program for Mack Oh God be somewhere somewhere in the house or be there yeah lots of boxes a long with all my pay because of my grandma used to say of my mum and dad used to say so yeah so much that you can look back at your history with lead yet and your family and your granny she gets all the cuts and everything absolutely everything the things when you're playing you never really keep the curtains you look at papers and you put them down but you know my grandmamma moment you know these 6 everything and put into a scrapbook so you know now that I finished 20 years ago plans to look back and you know see those days when I was on the ferry and when I score goals and you know from the sun and the star and all the other papers in the right soaps Yeah quite emotional at times when you look. Back on that committee and what that fastball. The 1st call was I think the Tuesday evening I was on the bench and I've done everything up until that point when I should have scored keepers of my great size and just when you need that little bit of luck I got it that night to organise and sites around the sidelines is like going got to go some other Remember how long was left is against Arsenal it was no no and it was a ridiculous goal or should never going to be quite honest with this was small and even and I think it's about 37 yards out you know I just yeah it was ridiculous I don't know I just thought me so far ago and they're going to shoot from anywhere it doesn't matter and I'll actually did it and it went past David Seaman one bounces gone the wrong way took a little bit of a bend and bounced over his legs and that was it you know you kind of need that little bit of luck to get your career a print run and specially as a striker does the existing video far. Yeah you can watch that again thought how is that going in. I want to think sometimes you can get a You Tube loop lights Nikon Yeah yeah yeah it's like what happened next you know I think David c. Was going where the ball is going the other is England goalkeeper as well it's like have you know gosh and then and then you leave Leeds United What was it like when you laugh it was horrible probably one of the worst moments of my life because as a kid you know I worked so hard you know it's a play from the home side and you know it was and it was and I got the call on the Sunday morning go on strike and guns are Coventry and it was assistant manager to Ron Atkinson at the time and I remember lying in bed and got a phone call and I just lay in the cross the bad obviously after and I on the Saturday as well Mr Craig has some new brigade. And he said no it's the gaffer and I thought it might be Gary Kelly or single one of the players messing about so accustomed said Put the phone them back again it's not no it's a gaffer you know it come down the club and as soon as he said in that sort of tone I just burst into tears and us happened and I went down there and they said they've accepted an offer from Coventry obviously go and go. That turned down to office from them previously but they needed the money it was a record signing wasn't it was yeah so it was one of those well you know obviously heartbroken walking out Billy Bremner give me a big hoax and your backs are in and you know it never happens and so obviously I start with baby sitting on their every time they also cover it so in some way I guess I am back there's something about I've I've been to probably 5 or 6 games in my life in the something about this if you will possibly Bremner at the front of it yes something about when I drive past and I got sometimes a puppy. You know and you just look at it you go wow know what I've been doing events in the conference with the back that's something and then you watch the film in fact I was that the Autobots recently. Pulled in the carpark at the back and the most film called it's come from a hat. The film about Leeds United come from had. Its. Done tonight and tonight advertise and kiss all the players and yet back cannot spot the shot the film pulled out and I stopped and looked but the building was like the history yeah 100 years about it yeah it's something special about the stage I'm about the grounds because there's not many stages now that have that kind of feeling very few because they're all brand new this is still the same stage and it's you know hosted many great games sad some many unbelievable players on that fail but there's not many stages it gives you that kind of single has that kind of atmosphere and the history behind it and I got in very early and I like to say on the by the dugout and I love the look and just men reminisce about Mike's arms and it's just a peaceful place and they want to get down there because no one else is there stewards of the people that are know they're working for the club and it's just nice to sit there and you know just have my moment again you know with that with with this like just something about that it's not going back to places that mean so much I go back to my childhood how we moved I lived after 19 years and moved out in the mid ninety's but I sometimes go back of my new really tough time of mental health so yeah yeah I always go back and sometimes I just sound seeds might woman say you know yeah and I just anyhow sneak up on the thought yeah he's struggled with mental health and stuff yeah yeah yeah you know want to retire is horrible you know that that kind of day to day routine that I had and you know that dream is just gone taken away one day finished never going to do again sorry to kind of recover from that was really difficult and to get my head around that I'm never going to have that kind of elation again and that excitement and that kind of moment you know is really difficult to tell you I mean a class is a bit like being in the military because you have that routine that camaraderie day in day out routine and all of a sudden bang that's it. And there's no one that help you if you've got a kind of figure out yourself you don't know what you're going to do how are you going to fill your days in from on the Saturday. So it's you know trying to cope with that was you know is difficult is that something that needs to be more helpful for. When I finish that Korean because you know you finish it. All you did you I mean the highs and massive highs you got when you're playing to the massive lows you know that yet to go through as well Joy and joy in that you know but I guess part and parcel of that is just life and self and you know that was the nature of the base unfortunately you know winning games it was you up in the clouds you know losing games you're lower than a snake's palace or. You know there was never really that much of an in-between so but definitely need more help and I'm glad it's all out there now there's more awareness and people can come out and express that you know men women children it happens it was all so yeah I think the f.a. Really need to think about how they can forge a plant when players finished playing their career how you can support them better how you can help them you know deal with that transition from not playing to you know going into a different kind of job or a different role and then being here at least gives you the opportunity to at least a say in the dugout and yeah and be back in Leeds United be back at that ground and yet so much far it doesn't mean I love it you know the songs I just pass and you know just great memories like my 2nd home I spend so many days I watch us trying in the park and playing the games been around the stage and it really is a special place but yeah this came around so you know one evening that bonds were perfect you know I needed someone to do the commentary and. Yeah yeah yeah you're such a romantic paradise. I know that now well yes I grew up in Bond Yeah. Well yeah well that's where the relationship blossomed I mean for the bromance stops it from a yeah but no and since then we never look back and it's you know I love work doing what I do the transition from playing you know the major work I love that side of it great that seems like a natural progression doesn't it for lots. Playing to become pundits and stuff like that because it's fast 100 expands that's what you want to watch when you're watching a football match and the commentary of that yeah and the pundits afterwards you want fast and expansive someone that's actually being on the pitch and lifting Yeah absolutely and you know it's not been easy obviously for a number of years now of late so many ups and downs obviously in the song but very true you know that's just the way you know fans you know so loyal to the football club the price so much money I don't have it there you know we can we can midweeks travel but just the best fans in the world you know the noise of the general excitement that brings you every year where you game you know they just take over the stage and you know you don't hear the home fans just had to leave fans win lose or draw and that's just I can only applaud them for you know if the loyalty and support the 1st time I went was I think it was 1992 season when I was working at a station down in Bally rajma Yeah and I was used to work on the spot show I didn't speak I used to press all the buttons for the 3 parts that brought students he might yeah and I suppressed all the plans I remember going and I think I was playing and it was but non has been thrown around. I know it's just I just member guy now is the 1st time I've Yeah well I mean Eric he had a massive presence. Around around the grammar trying you know I remember the day he left and the since it came out I was always the 1st one in. Watches to claim that I had a rogue and all the managers are out all the kits I was generally in before any of the other watches players even though they lived in digs just of the road and I was coming from Adelaide so you know soon as I found out he'd gone I've gone straight to the room that Seoul is sold a couple of times so. That I didn't because I wore them one of the games in there for Youth Cup Their brand new Nike is that it was sponsored by a woman who was going the rounds for the f.a. Youth Cup and told how it was about to string me up because I wore them I was getting blisters after about an hour or. So. That's what happens when the player goes to man you're the something something something something just to do that exactly and so tonight well even across the day here at b.b.c.
