That's B.B.C. Radio Scott the travel and a look at the weather a mostly cloudy day with outbreaks of rain this heavy at times it should start to ease later and clear away to the north to leave mainly cloudy skies highs between 13 and 16 Celsius today that's B.B.C. Radio Scotland News Center. Teletypes This is K. Adams with you 12 on B.B.C. Radio Scotland thanks for all the people who got in touch on our discussion there about the sectarian troubles that we've seen over the last couple of weekends and Scott says the problem starts with education system. Segregated education Catholic schools for example this points out from an early age that each side is different. That same point 2 says I was at the Republican margins are 3 marches are entirely peaceful despite the provocation of small pockets of loyalists counter protesters intent on violence police failed to clear them from the city center on the March is still to come in September only to a Republican Marc. And 10 are orange walks by putting such a spotlight on a small number of Republican much as the media are getting to the claims of the Loyalist counter protest that Republican marches should be banned we will defend our right to stand with the Irish people in their struggle for self-determination and I think as far as the regular punter is concerned they just want to see a peaceful city center and I don't think they're necessarily pointing their fingers at any particular group but it is a good point and I think we do need to get clarification on these marches that are planned for the rest of September and exactly where the coming from so I completely take that on board Martin Hannett raised as well so we'll get you on not and still to come. Yeah what does Nicki Minaj have in common with Bruce Davison they've both taken a step back from public life to focus on family while we're still asking Can women have it all and our text Kelly Marshall and Louise plane will be here for another tech talk this week they're looking at the launch of the next through it based phone you know the one I mean every added Psagot have a cry and recall some of the wanted stand on I was me a 7 I got hold of a car I was named called at Ballard stuff that office called us you know we have a special anti billing surgery this morning schools education establishment are well into their winter term of the autumn term what are they call it if you've got any concerns about a child or a young person in your family close to being believed and you would like a bit of advice as psychologist Emma Kenny is with us so you can text 80 to 95 or you can call or wait wait 592952 fill mornings with a Adams on B.B.C. Radio Scotland. And I did say that I would read a statement from cabinet sectors for justice whom you serve with a view to the marchers the right to hold perceptions as well as the right to hold counter-demonstrations is central to our democratic society and the decision to allow these marches to proceed was one for Glasgow City Council who acted on clear advice from police Scotland it is important that we do not lose sight of the collective need for action to achieve a 0 tolerance approach towards sectarianism and offensive behavior Scotland's communities also have a right to feel safe and to be protected from disorder and go away and. They just clarification on that there will be 14 more marches planned for Glasgow and SEPTA. They will be for various causes 2 of them will be Republicans so there you go that is an absolute clarification there and if we have mislaid in any way then I do apologize for that. Right dating up to has released the 30 most swipes faces in the U.K. And one of them is Edinburgh based P.R. Exec Jeanne good morning to Jane good morning good morning I you know I don't know if the light was going to there yeah for all I know there so why you this morning I'm very well you I'm good thanks so how does it feel to be one of Scotland's most white. Flattering it's really very flattering to be honest I was quite surprised and you know there's like me in the other contests that well I say contestants that mean the other people who are on the app and the other 29 and yeah everyone's just been really fun they're into a confidence so I mean it was a competition that you entered or did you just get no you know I just got notified Yeah I'm saying contestants is not a competition and it was just the people here is most sites right across the U.K. And Ireland Right OK So did you think it was a joke at 1st not that I'm saying that you're not worthy of the title but I mean it's a good thing to be contacted about isn't it yeah it's kind of strange and no I don't know in the e-mail I think people are maybe don't hide in different ways whether it is email or phone and I got an email and I'll can send it quite legit to me so so that for people who aren't familiar with with tender I mean I think it is it's not the certainly one of the most popular dating apps as yet and this is very simple mechanism that if you're kind of interested in me and somebody use why is it right yeah it's super simple you swipe right if you like the price and any slight left if you don't right OK And then so how does that come through to you that I mean so every morning do you wake up and you've got this you know hundreds of people who are interested in meeting you know well you can turn your notifications on or off on the app it's kind of. If you want to go on and you spend as much time as you want on it or take yourself off really and it's got a feature that you can find your card so that if you kind of don't feel like being on it you can hide yourself and then pop back on when you don't want to go on right so how many notifications do you get when you've got the moron. I actually had and justification pop up saying I had a new light. And I should pop on and sitting here like me so you're going to basically just a 1000 guys who say no I think it's a pose and yeah 1000 people have liked me it's not necessarily that I have like them back and then matched with them but the act is just telling me that people have liked my picture I like. Notifying me that there are people out there like you Michael it's kind of encouraging me to go on the app and check and see his liking me because if I then go on and swipe right it's likely that I don't get a match with the person who's liked me already right OK right forgive me I wasn't entirely Yeah I mean it's white right but that's sort of an investigator Alright so I get it so basically you get up every morning you have your cup of tea you have your porridge and you're looking through hundreds and hundreds of people who say Jane we think you're fantastic. Not necessarily. Yeah yeah I mean that's the thing I'm not on every day and that was the great thing about tendering is that kind of 0 pressure so yeah but it would be yeah. Oh yeah definitely definitely yeah yeah so we got very simple truthful haven't you basically had 2020 patients. I said in a recent entry that sometimes i write your ground sometimes I like basically lying about yoga. But no I think it's kind of it's given me a lot of. Conversation starters so I think something catchy in your profile that's going to get people talking weeks ago and the photograph is that ending you know particular about the photograph. No I mean I've had a lot of people saying they just like my pictures because I look natural and smiley not you know though there's all these 4 to editing apps there are a snap chat filters and I'd like tend to stay away from that so all I think that's a good thing just keep your pictures natural So you haven't gone for you know all of the different filters or a very kind of very glamorous kind of look so so how long have you been using this dating app just at the beginning of the year really around Christmas time and I signed up with another friend who single and we just sat in her living room one day just going through it and having a bit of a laugh at Brae and then we actually were together and we were going to where I can really say oh have you couldn't be seen this guy and there's a feature on the air as well that you can share people's profiles OK so if I saw someone I thought my friend would really like him I confess and I can send the profile to my friend so a bit much making going on yeah yeah you can do that so the key question is have you found Mr Right. I know yes. I have and potentially they're right. On the horizon Oh. And don't tell me I'm in a bar and no no no. One there. Oh well I mean it sounds as if there's a kind of watch this space in earlier there. That I can hear in your voice there might be somebody very interesting listening to speak to Jane there who is one of Scotland's most swiped women a turn of that sounds good most liked is that nice to not only sway people anyway people love her people love her on a dating app and Mr Right I think might be waiting in the wings McDonald from the B.B.C. Radio Scotland singer songwriter of the judging panel the standard of a she was so high it was incredibly difficult the quality of writing and performance it was mind blowing actually I know the 10 semifinalists have been chosen it's up to you to decide who should go through to the final 4 with the most votes who perform in the life I know it's looks to Glasgow it's going to be an incredible opportunity and will give someone a really good step up to the next part of their career you've got until 6 pm on Friday September the 13th to cast your vote for information to listen to all of the nominees Thames and privacy notice head to B.B.C. Don't go don't Yuki slush Singer-Songwriter Yeah and we played a song one of the 10 songs every day last week. They spiked the back of my legs until I bled that's T.V. Presenter Pentagon cuts are talking about her experience of bullying but what do you do in the event that your child is dealing with something like that we have a special and to building surgery this morning and psychologist Emma Kenny is here to offer advice and information on it so if you want to get in touch then please please do see that somebody has said why. Must always be the victims how about dealing with the bullies Why must the victims be the ones to have to learn to cope with it to the bullies even know that their bullies they probably often don't recognize themselves and Marshall again saying why or why don't they actually get some bullies on the media to explain their reasoning and do what they do and it's a very good point to say this is an anti billing surgery and like any prepared to take questions from a any side of this discussion and it could well be that you are concerned or that your child has been accused of being a bully has been drawn into this kind of behavior pattern so absolutely anything around Desideria and she's happy to talk about it you can call it wait 59295 double over text 8 to 95 or you can e-mail B.B.C. Don't go to U.K. You got something to say text 80 to 95 standard message rates apply warnings with key items on B.B.C. Radio Scott. Stephenson has had 0 days off in more than a decade since 2007 he has enjoyed a constant chronic pain it's cost him his family and more than 100000 pounds but he says it has also given him some part person joins me to tell me more good morning to you Ed morning good morning and so when we say you've had 0 days often more than a decade it's 0 days off from the Pena Yamin they saw the pain so start in 2007. So it's been more than it's been more than 12 years and there's just been of Hod pain every single day since that time so I mean it could have called the Book 0 minutes off because there hasn't been there has been a minute often it's just you know that's the thing when you deal with a chronic health condition. There's just no there's no break there's no you know you never get any rest by Froment So it wasn't I mean it wasn't as bad in the begin and then it just project got worse and worse more so than mar what I ate I tried every single dime therapy and so on. But it just wouldn't go away and you're trapped in a world of pain can can you describe the pain to us yes the mind so the location is always at the top it's under my left rib cage top of my stomach. And what would happen is that I'd eat food and then I would be in pain. I mean a pain never really went away but food was the key protagonist or there was stress or you know but I would not there's no other or that was the 2 stress or food and it becomes you know if you're if if. You feel pain from the sunset sunburn or something just don't go in the sun but if you feel pain every time you eat then it's difficult because you have to eat food so I saw for 10 years ourselves and searched and searched and all really. Like you said an introduction of spent a lot of money and I tried every therapies in a lot of doctors and they all tried their best you know it's not like they purposely failed for me. And. I just couldn't get anywhere so I started to take notes in 2009 notes became a book and for the last 10 years I've been writing a book which I truly believe will help a lot of people because I just know what in there have written of learned who so when you say pain I mean this is clearly to a debilitating degree has it to an extent taken over your life yeah I mean that the thing with it is it's you know it's washed. That is debilitating That's that's for sure but the one of the hardest parts is a consistency of it so if you're you know if you never get a break from pain that it completely alters your personality. And affects every part of your life every relationship is affected it becomes impossible to enjoy things that's one of the major repercussions is that you. You know the simplest things you can enjoy because it's always there it's always in the background and. The best example I can give is a migraine so if you you know if I was task you personally if you had a migraine every minute of every day for the next month you know how would you feel at the end of that month. And if it was full every day for 10 years then you know what would your life look like at the end of those 10 years who would your career be like what would your relationships be like what would your you know would you would you still laugh and smile and your can. You know affect absolutely everything so it's affected. When I have a son of a young son it's affected my relationship with him and friends and family and I mean it comes very You say affected in what way well because you know no so the parent child example is the perfect example because you know when nobody wants to be the parent it's always in a bad mood right. So you're trying to enjoy things you're trying to force yourself to enjoy things but it's some point during that day you become tired it gets in top of you I mean the migrant example is the best example you know if you had if you were to go out with your son or daughter for a day somewhere really nice and you had a really bad migraine then you would make it through make it through some point in the day it would really affect things. And it just spoils really and you know that's what that's what I mean doesn't it can become overbearing and
