The kind of thing speakers would remind us to to collect by saying that there are many good things about many of your predecessors but if any of them would be such a welcome choice a speaker and speaker as you. Funny galloping is something usually associated with horses but research has discovered something that most species of crocodile can do than previously thought the study led by the carnage suggestibility depends on the size and build all threat and look at the weather forecast any residual rain soon creates the saving even trying not then we could see some fog and low clouds through the early hours temperatures dropping to freezing that's 32 degrees Fahrenheit and tomorrow would have a mucky start to the day. 3 minutes passed for the sins of the radio Suffolk where it. It is for. The 5. Minutes. It doesn't show signs of stop. Some fun. When we find a good night. On this. Side . Of the fire. Back. When we find. The fire it's back. To my ways. The 1st of many festive tunes on the program this Teton Robbie Williams with a new rendition of Let It Snow. Have been hearing in the news off the moon a Suffolk drugs gang has been sentenced to more than 50 years in jail the Nino outfit supplied addicts in Ipswich stomach in less than $26.00. Ran the phone line which sold crack cocaine and heroin he was sentenced to 15 years and 8 months in prison 7 other members of the group also imprisoned for their involvement in the gang charges included dealing drugs violent disorder robbery and position of a shotgun the weapon was used in an attack in laced and where it was fired through the door of a rival Kevin Birch has been to Suffolk police. Well this is without doubt a major success for Suffolk police and their partners but the message from here today is there's a lot more work still to be done and that work is ongoing as we speak they also make the point that these criminals were targeting people often who were very vulnerable trafficking them exploiting them abusing them and all for the money they could bike through drugs I've been speaking to David Jones from Suffolk police he told me more about the sentencing and the operation so it really plays are the result. Of this finest lots of teams across the constabulary have been involved in this level of force are. Going to cope with had good support from the c.p.s. As well in relation to this. Group of people of course lots of problems the community really plays it off the streets now but the center of all of this was drugs but just tell me about the kind of violence the threats the intimidation that we used often to people so vulnerable people have been exploited to deal drugs at the lower end of the scale for this group. And we. Now one thing which was interesting you mention the complexity of the. Involved. But it's the 1st time that. The drug. Is involved. And. Well I think the most revealing thing to come out of this. These criminals operated in a very similar to. The exploitation here didn't come from people in London. From. The High Street which is. A new market towards the clock tower. Quite slight seems to be slightly around the very soon Edmonds area TAFE road New Market Road still looking up pretty out and around the Sudbury area north and road is looking. Across straight for a bit of traffic around the area as well Q On way into town to London tad also on the. Road looking pretty p.c. Lots of queues I'm afraid on the coaches to ride as well as Heathrow and road and 12 is quite heavy as you make White Pass Woodbridge Once again that's from before the sex would run about North pan out towards the road on the railways had no service between. Once again today because of signalling problems for b.b.c. Radio Suffolk travel if you see something on. 101412121. Going head to head with 4. Festive pop quiz festive images a different format nothing to do with the music we're answering questions on and hopefully you'll get a better roll of the dice. Was very lucky as to find that's that as the way it goes in a couple of ones really I should have got the Jim Morrison one I should have got that sound oh never mind. See how it goes today anyway it's all festive twist on the old questions today which is nice I don't know whether you need reminding but you got 8 points last night and I got 16 yeah something rather went wrong there we go. Now it's. Funny isn't it because then the dice was road which is how we know how many points we get for each question and when I got one right I think it was 11 point I think you got just one point yeah. But you managed to get 52 as I now 5 or something like that was. Sometimes it did. B.b.c. Gold plays a current single song called orphans from an excellent new album of theirs which might catch the bus surprises quite a bit of language when I actually saw it come play much of it on the air but certainly it's a fine album as you will hear if you buy it or indeed to manage to stream it this is b.b.c. Radio Suffolk Let's focus now on an organization locally called Future female society who are holding a fundraiser in Ipswich it tonight I'm delighted to say but the cup of their members Jane may Jane peaches and Lola Boysen are with me now in the studio great to see both of you. So a big Not so not before we talk about the evening future female society for those people that haven't Some heard about it via b.b.c. Radio Suffolk What's the idea so future female society is run by Kim Trotta and through the organization she has several different groups that she runs and the one tonight we're talking about is goes way you act and it's a group for which young people can come along young gals and every week to socialize and to learn stuff about music and radio and lots of different things and lolo you heavily involved yes often going to go away for 2 years now and it is really helped myself stable confidence now I can perform and I would've been able to do that for a start I was where you work so what do you before I perform spoken word poetry so do poetry and spoken word and deep things so it's got meaning and leaving frank about it not just something that's that seconds and you're sort of school and yet I'm still in school I'm 15 I'm Natasha So has this given us confidence at school. Yeah I think it has because I would be able to stand up and do presentations in school beforehand but now because it had the confidence to do and other places I can do in school Jade on the face of it confidence is not something that you lack but I might be wrong not when it comes to performing and yeah I do feel quite confident on stage in fact $31.00 of the only places I do feel really confident and it has helped me. For throughout all the aspects of my life and I thought these kind of groups are vital for our young people because it's a big thing at the moment gallows lock in self-esteem and confidence and just not being able to kind of deny really just stand up for them Sauza has definitely a major thing what we tried to push for goes by us to just try and post them a little bit more make them feel good about themselves and deal with everyday life so are you seeing something of a role more. Well for the other girls. I mean myself and only came and really we also run different lives you have different things that we're passionate about and so I think we can bring different things to the table in different experiences and the gals teach us so much as well and it's really nice because we can rebound of each other and it's really lovely to hear that load feels that way actually because times do change very quickly they did when you made a name for yourself forget what year it was now yeah but that's several years ago now isn't it 5 years ahead of what's happened in 5 years it has indeed yes and Lola do you remember Jade when she was on The Voice Yes and I still were wondering think . About that and so it was a big inspiration I know to a lot of young singers locally but clearly there are people doing other things than the singing like yourself I think it's good because it makes her a role model to me because it shows you could be from any town even switching to you can still sing and perform and be yourself and it doesn't matter where you're from so a big night tonight was all happening so tonight we're going to have a fundraiser to raise money for goes where you at keep the group running and keep us girls come in weekly and so there will be a raffle tombola we're going to so some pretty love clothes as well and there's going to be some live performances and the girls are going to be involved in have played a big part in actually organizing the so it's really nice to see the go so invested and coming week in week out it's really great to see and good timing because Christmas just around the corner so will be a nice festive feel to it all yes definitely yes such festive filmy at the moment it's love and come people come along and join you yes of course please do it starts at 530 so you know you've still got good hours to get there and it finishes at 7 o'clock Ok and where is it again it's South Street Studios Ok just around the corner from Assyria b.b.c. Radio Suffolk. The same building is that the smoke house isn't. Using part of the smoke elsewhere as it were we will be using the snake house area say where you go in which music that is exactly where the beat. Lol I wish you and everybody involved in your particular part of the future female society the best of luck tonight and indeed for the future thank you very much thank you both for coming in thank you great to see this is b.b.c. In favor of rotation I do believe that you've got to you've gotta hit your best 11. Or we could do that but I think even now if you're going to do so I am sure everybody or everybody must look at the 3 players and be able to say I like that group the best you know and if you do that you take the fish train Plage change just fish them to get those but 1st 10 players onto the pitch in one go then it's down to them to make it work Tam returns or action on Saturday with a trip to Portsmouth lifestance players need to learn lessons quickly from last weekend's defeats at home to pizza for sports according to manage England draw the victory right side lost for 2 but it only been one nil down at half time it was a return to Earth a drive after his side's 6 nil heroics at ready cheer week earlier in the right direction but there's so show much more that lies of color and we've got to be better we don't show poor 2nd off obsession it's it's criminal because when you're not good when you show up being good with football but when you're not good without it you get punished and I just felt we carry too many body shaken off away from footballing those cricketers made a winning start to the 2020 international series against Pakistan with a 29 run victory in Kuala Lumpur opener Amy Jones hit 53 from 13 on poles while nets 34 not outs and Tommy Bowe Muncy might also contributed as ing and finished 154 for Pakistan lost both openness for ducks on the way to one $125.00 all out England's men's team with $309.00 for 4 at the close of play on day one of their.
