in a hurry over recent days and no big changes over the next few days either. most of us have got fairly overcast conditions out there — this is the picture in buckland on the moor in devon. so, quite a lot of grey cloud out there, some sunshine here and there, particularly across parts of scotland, northern ireland and north—west england. but over the next few days it is looking pretty cloudy — some drizzle towards the east, a bit of sunshine around some northern and western parts of the uk. for the rest of the day, for scotland, northern ireland, north—west england, some longer spells of sunshine here. cloudier conditions further south across england and wales. that breeze coming in off the north sea, so making things a little bit chilly for the likes of newcastle, towards norwich, quite breezy through the english channel too. but temperatures into the evening hours for most of us in the mid to high teens. later this evening and overnight we will continue to see that cloud across most of us, filtering its way a little bit further westwards across parts of scotland, perhaps fringing into northern ireland. still a few clear spells so just about dipping down into single figures for a few spots
