Ecstatic England cricketer Ben Duckett was dropped from this morning s ashes to a game for pouring a drink on the head of fast bowler James Anderson the team were out in a bar in Perth Duckett s part of England 2nd string line squad not the main team is the latest incident after separate controversies involving Ben Stokes and Jonny Bairstow head coach of a Bayliss told Sky Sports News to having to operate a 0 tolerance policy report also I think it s fairly trivial but in the current a year round up. Plus the military skills that I ve been having inside. Loads and loads of things but they use I waltz Dragon by writing is. What you don t panic because. Go find out about the. Surely forces already have the M.P. s destroyed. By listening to. Things. Sally. Plug. Plug. Plug plug. Radio be asked they asked with the Saturday show and Dish coming so we have something rather unusual happening within the forces Well then I ve got Corporal Matt cold day on the phone to tell me all about some dragon by racing this going on . Us name so what he s dragon boat racing to the origins of Dragon basin I didn t much over 2000 years ago in ancient China ration used to be used to encourage the rainwater and that Ramos was greatly needed force or prosperity and it s thought that by worshipping the dragon which is the traditional Asian symbol What s a financial absence of hope the result that when village is well competing for that we re not looking for rain or snow fairly danger of what we use in it was a spur activities or forced development of our personnel to drug abuse that pains Pharaoh s impose a sort of tempo one time assessing the stroke rate on one hand and the hound on our busy stretch of river Thames course. So such as to liken driving boats into an activity that most people have tried. To pass an open container in spots often named the most machines because the difficulties faced by so a couple start in speed in straight line difference in power to the POTUS and this potential cold water capsize is ascertained So we re multiplying this problem by 6 go at 12 my crew and the crew require that even greater concentration and team what physical resilience and self-discipline just to manage on a really busy stretch of water whether taking ownership between the 12 of them of a dragon boat off or any 30 minutes of training through the learning curve is obsolete shock is incredible these boats are specifically built for this particular tough not modified or adopted in any way these are boats for this purpose of dragon boat racing Yeah it s likely so they come over from China so does anyone want to pilot this to the u.k. . I mean these boats you want to have them come with a dragon had a dragon tell the scales on the side I m really really colorful really impressive but it s to race and is there a big take up within the full swells of this particular school so there isn t a president that there s a national league in the u.k. For civilian Codlin with the only armed forces to this or that role in this kind of force development and driving but you know to this day now I understand it s the finals on. Tell me a little bit about this competition that s happening this week yes or across the year we ve had 36 teams talk a lot of course in the River Thames and the reason we re doing it isn t because we want to really striking pitching as a sport but it s a really good medium for forced development sir much is going on in that helmsman. Who s taking control of banks not liking very well it s responsibilities of military command as communication navigation of a change to objective that s why this crucial non-management often quite quickly developed in situations to the helmsman the drum by a. A really good C mon grows and the guys putting a really working hard to be in harmony that s got a good team Team part in the nature of so many who can pass in this we have we have a challenge on and off the top 4 teams next week have come from all over the u.k. Across the area we ve had the chief of the stuff right down to brand new trainees come out of phase one try said us civil service personnel but next week we re hoping to have a 12 person squad from the Queen s color squadron our regiment r s podium 5 section r s Brize Norton and an h.p. At command High Wycombe Tell me about the venue is there is a specific venue for dragon boat or is this this an open venue which does last not some of the water sports some things yes it s code word affluence Robson resilience . And it s owned by central funding instead which is a service charge take and it s on the River Thames train Mollohan in the south east of England so there was with him to have is just a few 100 metres away from what used to be always Mad Men which is used in in the 2nd will for the number one photographic interpretation unit so that s why it s historical ties come from. But now it s uses of force development on the water. And will try service personnel can anybody have a go this. It s hopeless so civil service. At any ranks and any person that s involved. Must use force if they were to come down today and said So people do want to censor our Internet home page click on the links unless you have the evil skin then you have to find a box and census which will come down to love like have a great time on Thursday and we re trying to catch up next week to say how you get on with this marvelous sport and I ve been online time to look at what it s like. I m very well thank you how you. Yellow bit about. Where you are and what it is the you re doing over the course of this couple of weeks. So we re in a place called solution in Norway which is about half an hour drive from playschool Yama 3 hours north of all the oil we have on basically a training camp for the divisional was in France and we had doing a combination of classic and skate technique skiing along with bad bottom training on the range as well on the training camp then added competing with the other cabbage is like yes yes the right yes say that the time to quit well last year and well you can to at least get some of that success this year but yes some of the caps competition in January and then hopefully will qualify and progress on to the army slates one of the I can and say Tell us a bit about the team you ve got there and where you ve drawn them from around the reigning. So the guys I ve got all from all machinery me and we ve got a mix seasoned veterans I guess and a couple novices as well so we ll do the same to spend so we ll do skate we will do classic and we all can be in the bottom race as well as definite broad spectrum of competency but go ahead and have a good time as well I can How s it been going so far the 1st go days with. Spent in the snow as opposed to standing on the scale just because it s new to us you know lots of downhill skiing but Nordic skiing is totally different but we get in there now I think maybe 34 so they only run a case a is getting better and how long you therefore entitle to a half weeks we have 4 and what is the rest of the plans for the sime is it really full on for the days for the training Yeah absolutely so we have a 2 hour training session and morning and then a 2 hour training session the afternoon as well we then do some joint training with the right foods in the evening as well so it s definitely a full on day and to our lunch break might seem like a long time it s not enough time to get back cook a lunch relax your skis and get back out there again the afternoon Yeah and rest your legs when you Dana stay on day either yes we need to not which we ve only got one day off I can say what s Norway been like as a place to train absolutely excellent weather s been perfect apart from today we had a nice cold conditions today it s got to a nice bonus 0 degrees but the last 2 days been about minus 7 minus a. Cold You know it is and you re obviously training ahead of competition so when today take place so the divisional take place the 14th of January to the 24th of January and then the armies take place straight after that and then after that eventually will be the remake or Championships which obviously is a big thing for us as well yeah and you said you ve had previous really good performances say you hopeful for this year I think we have the same town last year but I think we ve got a good team. So we can do well but what made you say that we haven t got the talent if. You know it s a pleasure I didn t think you d say that if they were that. We wish you the very best and. I mean any journalism is like so the feeling I get that we should know about you know and I just think how much is just yeah we re give you a few more days to try and keep us updated with your progress Yes Well yes it will do you think you watch. knowing that there was someone else when you were going through a difficult place conflicts mediations that is that they when you need mediation is the easiest thing to play to result in floodplains conflicts using experienced independent media agents in a confidential environment it s independent of the chain of command and it s available brands any telling they helped me avoid a long formal service complaint process but enough to get the chain of command 11. 06 radio.
