I think it was certainly a strike against iran. Even though the houthis have been independent actors, theyve been supported by iran, and they are connected to iran. So as much as this was damaging to the houthi military capability, it was also a signal to iran of saying, hey, stop your proxies from doing the kinds of things theyre doing.
