Because the show makes so much money. What weve been taught in society for years and years and years is that money speaks, money talks and abc wouldnt walk away from such a lucrative program. But it has. Im just texting with a disney source asking what led to this decision. Theyre saying its just simple, its a question of right and wrong and a question of our companys values. A Pretty Simple answer from disney, a giant multinational conglomerate, all about families, inclusiveness and diversity and they felt they couldnt be associated with her anymore. It is outrageous. But what it shows is that you have to have diversity in positions of power, not just people who are working at the lower rungs of a company but people in positions of power who can make these kinds of decisions.
