The entire florida peninsula will be engulfed by some form of irma. Whether you see Hurricane Force winds, tropical force winds, the flooding, but it is going to be devastating. And it starts to make a little bit more of a turn towards the west. All right, here is our european model. The european model is updated. Brings it in towards the florida keys. Its just a little bit to the west side of this and then brings it up more towards tampa. But the american model has it just to the east of center. So either way, theres really not much difference. 50, maybe 75 miles difference between the two. But either way youve got a category 5 hurricane now. Could be category 4 by the time it makes landfall. When is landfall . Right now computer models are saying saturday night, possibly sunday morning. It is moving quickly, but it is such a strong system. In recent history, we havent seen anything like that. Its just going to swallow florida. And we should remind people. Its important to point out your window to get out is closing. But if youre one of those moving away from this storm, youre still going to need supplies. We know its going to be days of trouble after this. A gallon a day per person is what everybody really needs. And even if it takes that right turn, youre still in Hurricane Force winds.
