Do not go into your canal and pick up something that you lost after your boat two weeks ago. You need to stay out of the water. That water will cup crashing back in. All the utilities, all the power is under wear. Theres the radar, because key west has failed, probably not that unusual during a hurricane, but miami is not giving out any signals either. That will flood marco cape coral, and from Bonita Springs to naples, 10 to 15foot storm surges as the storm goes pup, then the west coast pushing water onto the east coast. He said look if a cat 3 storm hits, that area will be under 15 feet of water. We dont exactly what left of water the storm surge will be. The estimate were 5 to 8 feet for the tampa petersburg area, but again, thats 5 to 8 feet of water rise. Then depending on these winds, youll have waves on top of that water. Its not just five feet, eight feet of water, maybe doesnt sound so bad, but that wind action creates winds of potential very high waves. And then you figure the tides, if its at high tide, that all the moorad it is to the complication, but i think the people are prepared for it, as much as they ever have been a rea shoutout to the Hurricane Center and service, theyve been spot on from the tracking. They get all this stuff from the noaa satellites, from the plane that flies in the middle of the hurricane. They are spot on.
