Congressional lawmakers plan to debate the Iran Nuclear Agreement when they return next week. The house hasnt scheduled when the deal comes to the floor, but the Senate Begins debate their first day back on september 8th. All Senate Republicans who have announced their positions on the agreement are opposing it. A number of democrats have been asked where they stand, including senator bob casey of pennsylvania who supports it. A statement from him says in part, this agreement will substantially constrain the Iranian Nuclear program for its duration and compared with all realistic alternatives, its the best option available to us at this time. Congress has until the 17th to debate and vote on whether to approve the iran nuclear accord.
