He is invited paul ryan to the white house for lunch, also invited is chris van holland, who is the Ranking Member of the committee. Todays meals comes on the hills of the dinner the president hosted last night. The post meal feedback the press was all positive. The goal of course is to find a way to end the sequester. The white house confirms that the president will go up to the hill next week to meet separately with the Republican Democratic caucuses. Congressman ryan has a new Budget Proposal he is expected to reveal on tuesday. But it reportedly contains the same old cuts that his last two budgets did, like the medicare voucher plan that voters came to know and dislike. And it includes none of the Revenue Generating tax reforms. And remember that 716 billion in medicare savings that ryan and romney both called cuts well thats also in the ryan budget again as well. After the lunch today, the president and Vice President are going over to the department of the interior where the president will sign the reauthorization of the violence against women act.
