FBC Bulls Bears February 7, 2016

The republicans front runners, but if youre going to go with one party or the other, look, the democrats have already said, the ones running, theyre going to go after cooperate america. And when you talk about these job numbers, the middle class is absolutely disappeared. Going after Corporate America with cap expending the lowest in five years is not going to help very much. If the job picture is that great, why is gdp continuing to slide downward . Adding jobs is fantastic, remember, the middle class is destroyed. 9 million jobs added under president obama, weve added two people for every job. 51 become the of americans are making under 30,000 a year, 74 under 54,000 a year. Its tragic. Everybody knows we have a big problem here. So susie, look to the jobs created in this report, its terrible. Were talking about jobs in the retail. Were talking about vacuum and jump in and talk about job growth. Mark, you say its all about Hillary Clinton. Oh yeah. Look the Republican Party is philosophically opposed to the government getting involved in the economy. They want to deregulate, they want to pull back, theres some goofy proposals being put forward about abolishing the irs and theyre wildly popular, but republicans dont have a serious plan. Hillary clinton put together a five year 275 million plan to get manufacturing back on track. To rebuild americas infrastructure, those create manufacturing jobs, good jobs, pay typically 8 to 20 more than these bar tending or, you know, tablewaiting jobs that you mentioned. Look, the democrats, are they going to build out the manufacturing part of the economy or are they just going to make more government jobs . Yeah, you cant magically build out manufacturing with government policy. Look, the democrats, im going to disagree, i would say bernie. Bernie sanders wants to transition to go europeanstyle economy, single payers look, you offer Free Education to everybody, youre going to create jobs. Im not saying its a good Economic Policy, but that will create more jobs than Hillary Clintons mr. Chairman which is to not move to a europeanstyle economy. Are you telling me you like Bernie Sanders . What are you saying here, explain. Targeting jobs as a policy, you want jobs to be an indirect beneficiary of good policy. Now on the republican side, they all got tax cut plans, theyre not going to happen because they cant pay for the extreme tax cuts, but i have to go with trump. Trump wants to build a giant wall. That is fdr straight up. If you dont think thats not going to create hundreds of thousands of construction jobs, the sheer amount of work that is going to be so that alone puts him ahead of all the other tax guys. Lets bring in gary b. Here, im relying on you to Say Something superintelligent, harry. Wow. The pressures really on now. Okay. A couple points in review, mark said that the republicans had no serious plan, my gosh, all you need to go to is tedcruz. Org. Marco rubios website, theres plenty of plans to grow the economy. Mark seems to think sorry, the left seems to think that growing the government is a good idea. Look, im not, honestly, jerry, to go through all these plans and dissect them. Just reading through ted cruzs tax plan was mind boggling. I went to the tax foundation, they ran through all the plans and all the economic numbers. On the left side, they looked at a number of different factors. Ten year gdp growth for every republican candidate was positive. For both sanders and clinton, it was negative. Same with job growth. Negative under anyone on the left, positive under anyone on the right. Wage growth, negative under both sanders and clinton. So look, the tax foundation, all their interested in is what is going to be the affect of their Economic Policy on the economy, on jobs, on wages and things like that. Its decidedly skewed toward the republicans. If you have some kind of, you know, fais that the governments going to do it, it just doesnt add up to what the numbers say. Come on all you have to do is look at the last several administrations to wonder under which Public Policies do jobs and does the economy do better . Clinton is synonymous as a word with recession weve ever had. How can you say thats a good policy . We were hemorrhaging 800,000 jobs a month when barack obama took a office and in a year, he steered the economy back to job growth. Month by month for the remaining six years. After we got through the bump of 800 billion was stimulus that was taken out of the pocket, whats the job growth been there . Its been terrible. The economy is sinking now. Somebody just said 9 million were created under obama. Thats not chump change. Nobody else does. John, to you. What has done . What should one of the republican or Democratic Candidates do . People desperately need to see better median income. We havent had grownups in d. C. In many years. This goes way back before president obama, believe me, the Small Business fairness act put together in the mid90s by president clinton who also, when you talk about deregulation, president clinton was the one who spurred the economy through deregulation. That helped, that Small Business fairness act helped because of the right and the left actually worked together. And when you talk about jobs, its not fair to cherry pick numbers like that. 40 million jobs were created between 1980 and 2000. Between reagan, bush, and clinton. Youve had nine million created under president obama. Theres no comparison right now. By the way, remember those jobs being created. Gdp is trending at about 2. 4 under president obama last five years. Thats way under 3. 1 average. Let me ask you quickly. John is saying hey, everybody get together, kumbaya, baya mom im not sure. Job growth, maybe thats happening. Gary b. , last word. To marks point, too much faith in government and what has it gotten . Its gotten the worst economy, the worst comeback from a recession in the history of the united states. I think that says it all. Ting says it all too. Thanks guys. And cavuto on business in about 20 minutes from now. Hey neil, what have you got . With the New Hampshire primary just three days out, democrats are calling for more government handouts and republicans all but ignoring the money were already handing out. So with the National Debt now grossing 19 trillion bucks, is it time we finally stop passing them up . Well see you at the bottom of the hour. Thanks, neil. We cant wait. But up here first, dont get used to low gas prices while driving to the polls. The president s pushing a new oil tax. That could soon be taxing your wallet. Nobody move get on the floor do something oh im not a security guard, im a security monitor. I only notify people if there is a robbery. Theres a robbery. Why monitor a problem if you dont fix it . Thats why lifelock does more than free credit monitoring to protect you from identity theft. We not only alert you to identity threats, if you have a problem, well spend up to a Million Dollars on lawyers and experts to fix it. Lifelock. Join starting at 9. 99 a month. Bears. Were going to impose a tax on a barrel of oil, import it, export it, its right to doed it now when gas prices are really low. Estimates are the tax would add around 25 cents per gallon than gas loon. Susie, you say thats the to do. Thats the worry to the consumer down the road. I feel like this is the big deal, and maybe only 25 cents a gallon, but thats not meaningful to many. Many consumers. What do you say . Yeah, at a point where consumers are being stretched right now. The problem is where does this money go . If this money went towards a d. C. Supergrid like we need to upgrade our grid, they would create some jobs that would lost in the oil field that hes talked about, the problem is you cannot trust congress with money, look at the gas tax, medicaid, medicare, its been used for education, 1990, Congress Took half of it. 1993 they did it again, said they were going to use it for education in the south, general fund. This money will not go where its supposed to go and attacked thatll be there permanently. Its another gas tax. Mark, you have pretty strong feelings on this. What do you think this is going to mean to kmurs, to people, do you think this is important to have another tax on consumers . Sure, it will. Lets establish its not a tax on consumer, its a tax on Oil Companies. I dont know about that. Its going to get passed right through. Passed along. Thats what people say, and the way heather acknowledged that thats a possibility. Or a likelihood. Or, maybe one or two Oil Companies will absorb this cost as part of doing business. Whoa. Or, im going to bloelt minds of everybody here, maybe theyll just cut into their grotesque profits a little bit. Im telling you, if one company does that and keeps the price of gas low, theres going to be Competitive Pressure who wants to answer that . John hit the nalt on the head with this wait, weve got to get to, out of the kindness of their own heart, go ahead. If the profits were so grotesque, they wouldnt be default on the debt right now. Its not a lucrative business to be in. The tax is not going to pass on to the consumers absurd. What i want to say, this is a brave policy, any politician can say oh remember when Hillary Clinton said lets get rid of the gas tax for a while, that is a policy. Doing this, raising money this way, you remove all the moronic policies like the miles per gallon and incentives for solar, we wouldnt need any of that. Had a simple tax thats easy to collect that raises the prices of energy and get rid of the bureaucracy. Thats a good way. Chicken in every pot and everybody gets a free car. Okay, gary b. , to you, really . So consumers arent going to end up getting we just spent 20 minutes talking about how lousy the jobs market is. And now, no, lets give these people another tax, that would be a great idea. Couple points, jerry, asking a liberal physical hes in favor of a tax is like asking a golden retriever if they want another tennis ball thrown at them. I mean for crying out loud, they love spending another peoples money because they think theyre so smart they can spend it better than us. Second to your point, you know, susie said it would like putting a face over the Oil Companies, like the face of the consumer out there. 25 cents, you know thatll be there in perpetuity only to be added to. What do we do when theyre back at 4 a gallon, oh well, you know, what do we care . First of all, for people that are in favor of this, i then, i go back and say, wait a second, what happened to the 800 billion we spent on all those shovelready projects . Those seem to have vanished, now mass transit, and were going to spend it on smart cars. Theyll do a great job. I feel good about it the. All right. Thanks guys. Cashing in just over an hour from now, eric, what do you guys have coming up. Hi jerry, donald doing something with his billions that some here say could be a gamechanger in the election. Plus the news, yearning for the bern. Why sanders message is resinating with Young Americans and what it means for our future. Cashing in, well see you at 11 30. Thanks eric, well be watching. Up here first, catch him and youre fired. Forget the debate over deporting illegals on the campaign trail, the top border guys hell be fired if he doesnt let them go. What do you think are the consequences for agents who are unwilling to comply with these policies . Theyll be terminated. So for wanting to enforce the law, that is in the books, they are going to be terminated from their jobs. Absolutely. Government agencyings are allowed to bypass congress by legitimating through policy, we might as well abolish our immigration laws altogether. The policy does not require the person to prove theyve been here, which is the sachl burden placed on them during deportation proceedings. Instead, it simply requires them to claim to have been here since january of 2014. Not only do we release these individuals, by law are subject to removal proceedings, we do it without any means of tracking their whereabouts. Were not tracking Illegal Immigrants after Border Agents release them. Another reminder why illegal immigration is such a major issue on the campaign trail. Gary b. , does something need to be done about this and fast . Absolutely, jerry, let me be very brief on this. Were on the cusp of world war iii, instead of shoring up our bordersing with figuring out what to do, were basically putting the sign out there saying, welcome isis, please come and destroy us. Its a travesty, and i blame it squarely on this nefarious doesnt come under the border under the jesus christ of the american way. John. Every president s since reagan has said the same thing, theyre going to fix the border and deal with them, but nobody has been successful on doing both. You can call it a kumbaya moment, but we need congress to enact a full immigration reform, otherwise, well never deal with it. Jonah. I think the keyword was tracking. Bureaucracy and kicking people out, we just track People Technology is there to start doing that. It wouldnt matter where they were, as long as we knew they werent getting benefits, as long as anybody with a visa or tourist, we know where they are, how long theyre here, we could get a rid of a lot of the costly ways of getting rid of them. I agree with john. Immigration laws are completely broken. Congress has an obligation to fix them and federal government establishes immigration policy, Congress Passes laws, so these, with any direction from congress, these poor Border Agents dont know what theyre doing. At least marco rubio has tried to be part of the a solution. I dont see any other serious immigration proposals coming out of the candidates. If were not enforcing the laws that are on the books right now, how can we have any hope of getting our arms around this problem . Absolutely right, gerri. Maybe the real proposal is to move all the lawmakers out of the cocoon of washington, d. C. And move them along one of the towns where the immigrants come into. In california or texas, and then, well see things sol guys. And thanks to susie and mark for joining us. Thank you, gerri. Not all hopefuls are bearing the snow for tuesdays primary in New Hampshire get the snowballs ready. We have the name that could be throwing profits your way. Hmm. [cell phone beeps] hey [police whistle blows] [horns honking] woman hey [bicycle bell rings] turn here. There. Excuse me. Uh. Uh. [indistinct announcement on p. A. System] so, same time next week . Well, of course. Announcer put away a few bucks. Feel like a million bucks. For free tips to help you save, go to feed the pig predictions, gary b. , youre up first. Gerri, stock up 20 in a year. John, what do you think . Snow day, order stuff online, amazon i think is up 20 in the year. Jonas. I cant get away from cam newtons stories, but consumers will go to t. J. Maxx all right, all right, neil, over to you, have a great show. All right. Well ahead of the race for New Hampshire is all of this getting a little old . Hi everyone, grad to have you, im neil cavuto. Why hirnt and Bernie Sanders feel entitled to do outdo each other, are republicans not that much better. All that ignoring, all the money that we are already spending on entitlements, maybe again, but one side just keeps it going. And the other side just seems, well, long gone. This is how we got to 19 trillion in debt. Both keep hashing. We got that
