The dow up, as we said, about 84 points, the s p and nasdaq also up nicely as is the russell, all of this after janet yellen reiterated doveish comments on the u. S. Economy. At one point the dow was up, as we said, about 103 points. The markets are still on track for their first up month of the year, both the dow and the s p are now up for the year, thats the good news. Gold also getting a boost, gold names like barrett, newmont mining, as you can see, up very nicely, newmont up nearly 5 . Oil settling at 38. 28 a barrel, that was dragging the dow lower at the opening bell, but then we heard from janet yellen. Technology leading the gains today, apple, amazon, microsoft some of the biggest gainers of the day, all up about 2. 25 . All right, well, we begin with Fox Team Coverage of the battle for wisconsin. Jeff flock is in milwaukee covering the democrats, blake burman in janesville, wisconsin, where the donald trump rally about to start later well, i say later, but the anticipation is growing. Well begin with the republicans, why not, blake . All three president ial candidates ramping up their presence in wisconsin today. Of course, as they gear up for the states primary next week, senator ted cruz getting a boost this morning from wisconsin with Governor Scott walkers endorsement, but a remnant of the florida primary taking center stage today, Surveillance Footage showing trump Campaign ManagerCorey Lewandowski allegedly grabbing a former breitbart reporter. Florida police have charged lieu lewandowski with simple assault in connection with that incident. So with all of that said, fox business blake burman is in janesville, wisconsin, with the latest. Just another day in the primary race, blake. Reporter its 50 degrees, its sunny, ashley, ive got no complaints here. [laughter] yeah, where do we begin . You started, though, with Corey Lewandowski and that is certainly the story here in wisconsin. Lewandowski, of course, is the right hand, the Campaign Manager to donald trump. Donald trump has stood by lewandowski and the campaign throughout. Ever since mid march, march 8th when thenbreitbart reporter Michelle Fields said lewandowski grabbed her and left bruising after an event at one of trumps properties. Well, today police in jupiter florida, southeastern part of the state, announced that lewandowski has been charged with simple battery. That is a misdemeanor in the state of florida. They also released some new video, private video from trumps own property in which they say shows that lewandowski did, indeed, grab Michelle Fields by the arm. The Trump Campaign is standing by lewandowski, in fact, they have hired not one, but two different law firms to represent him, and at this point lewandowski is still with the campaign. Completely separate from this, ashley, there is an event going on or in a couple hours in janesville, wisconsin, home to House Speaker paul ryan, and as you can see, it is quite the event. Thats the circus, by the way, for those of you who watch that show. There are lines all around, and theyve been anticipating protesters here, but everything has been peaceful and really havent got any problems. There are massive amounts of police here, as you can see down the line. Separately you mentioned ted cruz and john kasich are in this state as well. Kasich joined Maria Bartiromo this morning and said by no point, no chance might he possibly join donald trump on the ticket should it get to that. Take a listen. Maria, theres a better chance of my being your running mate than trumps running mate. There is a zero chance i will be anybodys running mate. Im the governor of ohio. But can clinton slow the momentum of Bernie Sanders and keep him at bay . Shes had a hard time trying to shake him. A big town hall with the republicans tonight. But to the democrats, pretty much all they have to do is shut up and let the republicans do their thing. I think thatd probably be the smartest thing. Hillary clinton today going to the base. He was here in milwaukee in the black Community Talking about gun violence, you know . She has had Campaign Appearances both yesterday and today in this state, but she has nothing else scheduled. Maybe ramping down expectationings. The polls show her in the lead, but there hasnt been one recently, and Bernie Sanders has been gaining steam. He was here today starting in apple appleton, wisconsin, in the muddle part of the state, and middle part of the state, and everybody seems to think the momentum is building for Bernie Sanders. Hes won five out of the last six contests in convincing fashion, a lot of people think hell do it here as well. For now, were in downtown milwaukee, and as blake points out, its not a bad sunny day here in wisconsin as we await the allimportant primary on tuesday. Now, this comes a day after challenging donald trump on his radio show, and apparently he hasnt changed his tune. Hes not a conservative. Hes a narcissist, and he is, hes a contentfree narcissist and an authoritarian who has not even taken the trouble to learn about the issues that hes talking about. Ashley so what do you really think, huh . Im joined now by a reporter with the wisconsin state journal. Matt, thanks for taking the time out, i know youre busy. Ted cruz gets the endorsement of scott walker, is that a big deal in the tate of wisconsin . In the state of wisconsin . Ashley, thank you very much for having me on. Absolutely, its certainly a big endorsement in the state, not one that was entirely unexpected coming into today. I think there was a lot of anticipation that he was going this route because the conservative movement in wisconsin has really coalesced around ted cruz over the last several weeks and even months. And so thats really, the momentum really is in cruzs corner heading into next tuesday. Ashley so Charlie Sykes who, apparently, is popular among conservatives with his radio show, you know, went on a rant about donald trump, hes an egotist, he basically has no substance. Is that what the conservative base see in donald trump, or does he have some of the grassroots support that weve seen for donald trump around the country . Well, remember that wisconsin was really excited about Governor Walkers president ial many people in wisconsin, republicans especially, were excited about Governor Walker running for president last year. That ended in september. And since then its been more of a mix of who do you go to next, but they werent caught up in that trump mania early on when he was first entering the race. Now that were seeing sort of the primary finally at our doorstep and wisconsin mattering which is not always the case in this state, they really are were seeing Governor Walkers endorsement at this, you know, at this time. Ashley yeah. Lets talk about john kasich. Many just view him as a spoiler right now. I mean, the polls suggest that hes not getting a whole lot of traction in wisconsin. Hes received a lot of high profile endorsements from what you might call the old guard republicans; former governor tommy thompson, his successor, Scott Maccallum has endorsed him and former congressman mark newman who ran against scott walker in 2010. But hes certainly falling behind in the polls, but weve seen a couple polls in the last few days where hes on the rise. So dont rule out kasich, especially wisconsins primary format awards delegates based on Congressional Districts in addition to statewide. So you might see kasich pick up a couple Congressional District ifs he doesnt win statewide with. Ashley itll be interesting to see how he does. Now on the democratic side, Bernie Sanders has the momentum. He just won three states this past weekend, and no matter what Hillary Clinton tries to do as the presumed nominee, she cant shake bernie. Are wisconsinites feeling the bern . We just had a rally saturday night where he gave his victory speech here in madison, wisconsin. More than 8,000 people turned out. That was actually a smaller crowd than when he was here back in june of last year, april, it was july 1st. Actually, it was july 1st. Were on spring break right now at the uwmadison, so he was able to get more than 8,000 people out without that huge contingent of college students. So you can definitely see momentum in Bernie Sanders favor. Well see, you know, i think the clinton people ive talked to suggested their tamping down expectations theyre tamping down expectations in wisconsin. Its a war of attrition in this national contest, and if he doesnt win big, 70, 80 like he did in these pocket states on saturday, they might be able to turn that to clintons favor as they head to the east. An egyptian man claiming to be wearing a suicide vest forced the pilot to land the plane in cyprus. A standoff between the suspect and Law Enforcement lasted about five hours. Many of the passengers, though, were released before the suspect finally surrendered. Reports say the suspect presented a letter in arabic requesting the release of female prisoners in egypt and a demand to meet with his former wife who lives in sigh us from. Cyprus. Meantime, Airline Stocks currently moving higher maybe because oil is moving lower. At this time yesterday capitol hill was on lockdown. Authorities in d. C. Say 66yearold larry dawson pulled out a pellet gun at the capitol visitors center, then he was shot and wounded by police. The white house complex was also put on lockdown. Investigators tell fox the weapon was an airsoft pellet gun made to look like a handgun. Authorities say dawson was arrested back in october of 2015 for interrupting a meeting of the house of representatives. At the time he claimed to be a prophet of god. He also claimed to be the leader of a movement to the raise the federal minimum wage to 15.
