We have had other analysts on the back end of 2013. This is a market of stocks as much as we want to look at the recipe and so on really what is going on is really irrelevant how individual stocks are behaving and equally how the respective sectors are behaving. Theyre pretty oldish tone. The kind of formations historically the offer is in sustainable. The accumulation trends especially on a noninstitutional basis are attractive and seeing very good depth of leadership in such key areas as manufacturing, health care, technology, Consumer Staples and so one. This is a very wellbalanced leadership, not a microsomatic market. Inasmuch as we are concerned about the fiscal cliff, it is a real worry but the important factor is the fed remains very transparent, they remain committed to transparent Monetary Policy and that is very bullish along for the market let alone we have historically low interest rates. Laurie all sounds good. But Earnings Growth is expected to decline significantly from the same quarter last year, that has to be had when in that view. There will be surprises to the upside. If you look at where the great performances were in stocks and sectors in the Fourth Quarter, they will probably be the stocks in sectors with the dutch earnings and expectations. I still think we will see majority of s p 500 Companies Beating the street expectations. I would be as pessimistic and as that occurs wil youll probablye more movement of cash from the sidelines of the market. Ashley david to that point are pretty positive for the output on the market this year, but investors should be focused on highgrowth, high yield investments. Why that particular area . With his wall of worry the market has been climbing, there is a lot of pessimism out there. The fiscal cliff, china, the economy, now earnings that stock market has a lot of worry. With the approach of looking at highgrowth for a good market we have had over the past several months and high yield for events and diversification, mortgagebacked securities, emerging market bonds, preferred, that balance has worked very good. Ashley i see on that chart we put up, you like housing, any particular area of houston . We like housing broadly. One of our recommendations a new 52week high today. In the supply chain a bit as well. But anything with housing we have seen the homebuilders have come incredibly far off of their lows so w were in the early innings. We think further gains ahead in 2013. Laurie how do you feel about the Auto Industry . The recommended gm and ford to our viewers. Just about a year ago on your show i recommended gm and ford coming off of a poor 2011 and had a great year. With the continued strength in sales in north america growth in emerging markets specifically china and mitigating those losses in europe we have another 50 to 20 upside in both of those stocks this year. We go between cash or equities, but we have a relatively low cash position and pretty significant equity position. Right now probably the favorite sector is manufacturing. Since late september of last year, we saw golden a pretty steady downtrend. The same time oil has been moving up to oil up 1 in that time frame, gold down more than 6 . Investors are releasing a little bit of the movement to safety or the hedge toward gold and more toward oil. As an indication or perhaps perceiving the gold economic expansion is going to develop that will be more demand for oil. I like materials and manufactures very much.
