party and they have control of the senate and the house so he's done things that are very radical. that is the nature of his problem. i wouldn't worry about him getting a challenge from a progressive wing when he's so progressive contrary to how he claimed he would be when he ran. he might have a challenger that is competition or that can pull off that game of pro tending to be more moderate like he did in 2020. >> martha: like, for example? >> i wouldn't even speculate. i kind of agree that the democratic party understands that it would be very bad for them to have an intraparty challenge. i wrote in "rigged" that the trump team now they wanted to ward after any intraparty threat and avoided that. it tends to be true when you face an intraparty challenge, you lose your re-election effort. everybody knows that. so they're probably going to work hard from happening that. >> martha: that's what happened in 1980.
