Prince george, can you believe this . He is now 4 years old. Princess charlotte, 3. We are not, however, expecting to see the newest royal baby louie. He is not even a month old yet. Might be difficult to transport him to the wedding. Shepard got to have those shots first before dwelling with the commoners. They will have 600 in there today. Not too crowded. 600 invited to the chapel inside. No american president s. In fact, there will not be a single politician here at all, which makes any day a better day. Not even the british Prime Minister theresa may. Harry and meghan also invited 2600 members of the public. Really just kind of hang out on the capital grounds. Sandra and i were talking about this earlier. Not like they got motor coaches and a catered spread for this deal. Sandra they were told to pack a picnic. They had to be there by 9 00 in the morning london time. They will be out there waiting for several hours. But, the plus side is those commoners will get to see everybody arrive and watch the procession. In fact, they might be the first to see the couple as they exit the chapel after the ceremony is over. And, of course, Meghan Markle is also a commoner. Will be. This just released from the palace. Her royal heinous. The duchess of sussex. Shepard breaking news now. Sandra actually confirmation of what many believed would be her title. You usually have to be born into the royal family, shep, to be a princess. Shepard i would be remiss if i didnt mention what is happening behind us. This is the long walk behind our location here which goes for 2. 65 miles from one end of this property to the other. The castle itself is 13 acres. Sandra beautiful. Shepard not the growngsdz of the castle. Castle grounds of the castle. The castle is 13 acres. There will be around 110,000 people. Thats when they were considering who knows what the weather is going to be. It is Great Britain after all. But today, right now, at, what, 11 00 in the morning here locally, its 66 degrees. And you couldnt find a cloud in the sky anywhere if you tried. If there has ever been a chamber of commerce day, sandra, its this one. Sandra sunny days. Warmest temperature it has been the last several days. Shep, we have been here several hours. Shepard five hours. We have been here. Shepard and we have been watching, you know, residents that have come in from the town of windsor but from all over the country. And we have run into so Many Americans who have traveled so far just to see this moment and just, perhaps, to get a glimpse of the bride and the groom along that long walk that you describe thats behind us lined with chestnut trees. Shepard gorgeous. Sandra it is absolutely stunning and beautiful. But there is nothing but a feeling of a celebration around here. I mean, everybody has come together to witness this moment. Prince harry is he is a dear treasure to this country and they seem to have really embraced his future bride Meghan Markle. Shepard they really have. Last couple days in town quaint little town of windsor. If you are ever around drop by. Great restaurants and pubs. Beautiful rolling hills. Its been a carnival atmosphere. Felt to me like the county fair for a while. And today is really much more, i dont know, its sort of a party out here. The people how see behind us, the hundred thousand or so, they couldnt drive here. Everyone has walked. Enemy cases walked for miles and miles. Tons of kids and thousands of puppy dogs. Thousands of them. Sandra you can hear them all the way up where we are right now. You just saw another yellow outfit that was amal clooney. A big hollywood presence this morning. Amal cleany, george clooney. Oprah winfrey has arrived wearing a big hat. Fun moment when she arrived. The camera was on her and she appeared to have a hard time finding her seat if you can imagine that oprah winfrey. Yes, a lot of stars have arrived. And were awaiting the royal family now. Meanwhile Benjamin Hall is live inside the castle walls. Benjamin, what a sight we all seeing here. Sandra, there are a lot of beautiful places to watch this wedding from. Surely we have the best spot. We are inside Windsor Castle. We were just inside castle where the wedding will take place an hour from now. Watching alist celebrities. Oprah early to come. James beckham. James cordon. George clooney as you say. Im expecting some of the spice girls as well. Not just about the a list celebrities. This is also about the people and harry and meghan very much wanted this to be a wedding for everyone. Which is why they invited 2700 guests. You can see them behind me as well. People from local schools and charities that the couple has worked with. England, ireland, scott land and wales. Feels like inclusive wedding here. Chapel itself i gorges chapel. Numerous Royal Weddings there. 15 in fact. This will be the 16th Royal Wedding taking place in the chapel behind me. A number of monarchs who have been buried there. Most famous he henry the 8th. A mix of new and old. Incredible to be here up close and watching it the feeling that you and i have been seeing over the last few days is building. We are getting the music from inside the chapel pipsd out here so we can hear whats going on inside. Now we are awaiting the arrival of the royal family themselves. A few of them leading up to the queen and then, of course, the bride herself. Back to you. Unexpected moment there benjamin, guests were given very specific instructions as they know there are instructions and rules to follow as far as dressing for the wedding. Can you imagine that some people here, especially in uniform might have come wearing swords. That was certainly one stamp of theirs as well. Lets avoid that here. We saw james blunt the singer coming. In he was famous for one night trying to knight ed shearn as a royal party with his sword and that went horribly wrong that day and ended up with a deep scar. Perhaps there is precedence for this. But the ceremony is about to get going soon here. Very excited. We have been given the order of service here. So well be following it closely. This town has really come around this couple and given them a lot of support. And as we saw Prince William. Prince harry. They decided to take a stroll yesterday. They unexpectedly opened the doors of the castle and decided to go say hi to all the well wishers who came to support them. A nice spontaneous moment which really lifted everybodys element awaiting patiently for today. They saw the bride, groom and indeed the best man yesterday. So that was an extra nice thought which everybody seemed to appreciate. Shepard some of our crews happen to be there. The castle backs up to what amounts to be the center of the downtown windsor. Among the local pubs is a place called appropriately the prince harry and it was there where prince harry emerged from the castle and people are seeing it on their phones and realizing its right there. And some of the people who are working in this room right now running out and shook hands with prince harry. Its kind of how they roll, isnt it . It is very spontaneous moment. Ceremonial aspect. The sussex and bride as well. Spontaneous mommys which are captured by the media and other times very much more private. But lots of spontaneity mixed in with all the ceremonial aspects of ache Senior Member of the royal family. Sandra david, could you give us an idea looking back at the Royal Weddings and what we are about to see here today and how the Royal Weddings have become more public and perhaps this one of all will be more modernized than what we have seen. Yes. Quite interesting. I have began to realize that Queen Victoria married and she was queen by then when she married i in 1940 only invited 100 guests. Extraordinary to think that 150, 170 years later royal family, weddings will be able to be witnessed and celebrated by many people, not only the u. K. , of course, but now most significantly too given the brides nationality in the u. S. So, the weddings have developed over the last 150 years or so into more pluck celebration. Shepard there is so much that is scripted and perfectly traditional and by the book. But today there will be a lot of aspects of this wedding that are truly meghan and harry. Could you tell us how they diverged from tradition . Well, i mean i think the last week has been proof that you cant plan everything, can you . And we have been calling it the markle debacle here all of the family drama thats been going on. Ahead Kensington Palace desperately trying to get out all the details they wanted to be made public about this wedding about the flowers and cake. They definitely have put their stamp on things. Prince harry is eighth in the line of the throne. They can afford to put it a bit more touchable. Touches of california in there the cake, for example, is not going to be a traditional english fruit cake. A lemon and elder flour cake. It wasnt going to be a tiered cake but different presentation. We have to look out for that apparently we are going to see a touch of america in the flowers as well. Somebody who has been inside the chapel this morning was telling me that theyre very american in style. Very white. The Service Service is very traditional and very english. They brought it up to the modern age they are not using thee or thousand. Using you. She is not going to promise to obey him, for example. So i think, you know. This is definitely a wedding for the modern age but certainly recognizable as a Royal Wedding. You have all the pageantry and ceremony we all have to see on days like this. Sandra you are looking at the pictures. We are here. This is the moment that the royal family is expected to arrive. Shepard there she is. And enter via the galilee porch. As you know, the royal family is known as being very punctual down to the minute when it comes to these weddings. Next, of course, in the next 25 minutes or. So prince harry and the duke of cambridge arrive at the chapels west steps. But here is the moment where we are looking on at the arrival of the royal family. Yes. We are looking on at the arrival of Meghan Markle and her mother who are on their way to the chapel. Hard to tell from these pictures looks to me as though she is wearing a vale which is quite unusual. I dont think we have seen a royal bride wear a vale for some time. Also the question of whether she has a tiara on underneath which it looks like she has. And there has been a lot of speculation in the last weeks about what tiara she might wear. She has a wide choice. So spencer tiara from Princess Dianas family. I think personally that is unlikely. There is some talk about a tiara made from perhaps some of some of Princess Dianas diamonds or she could borrow one from the queen from the royal collection. It certainly looks as though she is wearing one which is really the mark of a number member of royal family only a princess can wear a tiara, right . Shepard we will see her emerge from that car in a moment. My understanding is there is a microphone there so we will be able to hear whatever sort of interchange there is. You will notice there is a picture of everything at every moment the bbc is responsible for awful these pictures and they put out a feed to all the networks all around the world. The cost of such a thing really immeasurable from our standpoint. It gives you a view like none other of any ceremony in the world. The number of reporters who are actually allowed into the chapel is very small. There has been some dis about how a few are actually allowed. In done on a pool basis. One person goes in and shares the information with everybody else. But there are fewer than have been in previous Royal Weddings. Probably because prince harry lets just say uneasy relationship with the media. As soon as Meghan Markle arrives, that is when we will get the email with who address is made by. That is the question of the day. Its hard to tell from those pictures. There will be people who had eagle eyes out and already making predictions. Sandra we have some eyes closer than ours, right nows, louise. We are told there is a tiara on her head with that vale. We will get a picture of her any moment now. We want to bring in Ainsley Earhardt one of the hosts of fox friends. The next arrival at the church steps will be prince harry and the duke of cambridge himself. Ainsley i know. We are excited to see both of them. Thats his best man his brother Prince William. Some are seated in the choir area because it is a Smaller Church and she had the choice. She could have gotten married at westminster abby and saint pauls cathedral which is huge and thats where diana got married. They chose to be out here in windsor. Its about an hour outside of london. And it is where the queen and her husband come to the countryside out here every weekend im being told. When the queen is here. The standard, the flag flies above the round tower in the background. It went up a few days ago. There have been 15 Royal Weddings at this castle dating back to 1863. It is the largest, oldests inhabited castle in the world. Queen victoria back in 1840, she started the tradition when she married Prince Albert of wearing a White Wedding dress. That was considered a modern trend back then. Democrat additional color for a Wedding Dress either colorful or black. Shepard i thought that was always for funerals. Ainsley right . We did look at some he had etiquette and rules. We were told no black. You shouldnt wear black to a wedding color of mourning. No white or cream because the bride will be in those colors. Shoulders need to be covered. Hem lines need to be as long as your longest finger when you put your hands down at your side. You will see spring wedding like this some pastels, some small floral prints but were told not to wear the big blocky prints. And as far as hats are concerned. Many of them are wearing philip tracy hats. We went to his shop. He provides headdresses and hats for the royal family. Shepard i would have done a fasfastenator. Ainsley they are pretty pricey. We wore it briefly. Betritbeatrice is part of the family. She wore the big bow designed by philip tracy. She wore that for Prince Williams wedding. As far as hats are concerned. They shouldnt wear big brims. You want to be respectful of the people sitting behind you. Shepard oprah had a big hat. Ainsley she designed that one. It wasnt as large as some of the ones in his studio. Some of them you definitely could not have seen if you were sitting behind. Shepard its that nunu. Ainsley you would have to wear coat tails. Gray. Darker the better. The more formal. No linen suits for the men. Shoes have to be polished. You cant wear a brown belt or brown shoes. At least its discouraged because its considered less formal. You would want to go with black. Shepard lots of rules. Ainsley sandra, no open toes no. Wedges and no sling backs because they are too informal. Sandra no exposed shoulders as well. The lady should have some sort of stocking or legging or hose on their legs. No bare skin really is the general concept. Shepard no shoes, no shirt, no wedding. They are expected to walk by the way past the thousands of spectators that were invited onto the castles grounds. And prince harry will have the chance to actually acknowledge the 200 representatives from charities. He is associated gathered in the horseshoe cloister. This is wedding they decided gifts. We have been here for hours and watching for hours what was expected to be up to 200,000 people to show up in windsor and line the streets just to get a glimpse of the bride and the groom. And the guests of the bride and the groom have been filing into the chapel. They ever nothey are now seated. We are awaiting the royal family. Next up waiting on the mother of the bride. And then prince harry and the duke of cambridge themselves would be walking up to the chapel steps. We will see if they sit outsiden some pretty nasty occasions. It is wonderful to come to you on a day like this with an event like this. Over my right shoulder you can clearly see Windsor Castle. It is the favorite residence of the queen. She is here now and been the scene of about 1,000 years of history. Kings and queens all down the road. In fact, were making history now with prince harry and Meghan Markle coming together in just a couple of minutes. Over my left shoulder, its my road up to the main entrance to Windsor Castle. We watched 2600 people coming in here from all over the u. K. Active in communities, active in charities, handpicked and selected by both harry and meghan, part of the democratic mix of this wedding and the ceremony. Part of the modern mix, too. Both, again, u. S. And u. K. And we, by the way, had the prime position for what happens after the ceremony. Meghan and harry in a carriage all alone, except for a couple of horses and couple of drivers will be coming right down here behind us and then into the town, down to where you are and back again to Windsor Castle. That will be the procession that will be seen by tens and tens of thousands. But, of course, between this time and then, we have the wedding. And it is a mix of both modern and tradition. It is a mix of america and the u. K. We have seen friends of the royals come in as have you noted we have seen american celebrities from clooney on down to oprah. All coming in. A part of this wedding, a part of the ceremony which will be a very super occasion back to you. Shepard looks like william and harry to me, sandra. Sandra prince harry chose his brother william to be his best man and william should have the rings in his pocket because that is his duty. There he is prince harry arriving and walking on foot up to the steps of the chapel. This is such a really important, special moment for the people of england because they have gathered along these streets for this couple who they seem to just greatly support and embrace this american bride, an american actress and prince harry, he is such a favorite of all the locals here. They just absolutely adore him. Have seen him go through so much. They are happy for him and there he is with Prince William. And this is the big day. This is the big day, shepard. Shepard im impressed that he is still in control enough to where he didnt have to shave today. Sandra and he didnt there was a lot of speculation as to whether or not that beard was going to come off for this wedding day. Typically when he is dressed in full uniform its protocol to shave that off it looks like he has chosen to keep that on for the day. Shepard the man gets to make a decision at least one on this day and thats his. Lets listen. Sandra he was said to be suffering the, quote, normal nerves of any couple getting married. Yesterday his bride was seen entering her hotel. They stayed in separate hotels last night. And she was asked how she was feeling and she said wonderful. Thank you. Close sources to the royal family say they are both ready the last couple of days all their friends have been arriving. I think everything has started to feel very real after a very long time of planning. Shepard, this couple has been intimately involved in every detail and decision that has gone into the ceremony and the planning for this special day. Shepard you wonder those lastminute stresses everybody has to deal with before a wedding. A couple hundred people in a church watching you. Today two and a half billion so no pressure. Sandra beautiful. [church bells] [cheers and applause] shepard our Gillian Turner has been here in england and windsor all about the town covering the Royal Wedding for us for the past week or. So gillian, finally, here we are. Here we are, shep. I have been in touch with the Thames Police valley team over the past week. I met with their commander two days ago. He was very cool, calm, and collected. He and his team are responsible for all of the security in the town of windsor. All the security for this event here today he said they are fully prepared for the 100 to 200,000 visitors expected to join the wedding today as onlookers as best guests at the wedding. They have been planning the security element for the last six months virtually since the day that this wedding was announced. There is not a whole lot to worry about when it comes to Windsor Castle. Itself is a fortress. An ideal venue for this kind of event. They are more focused outside whats happening in the streets. Whats happening with the crowds. For them the moment of highest vulnerability will come later on when prince harry and Meghan Markle, who will then be the duke and duchess of sussex take their processional carriage ride around the city of windsor. That requires an extra layer of security. Some of it our viewers at home have been able to see over the last few minutes. Mounted Police Officers and search dogs. Some of it is covert though. Sandra mother to her very special day. This is such an incredible moment where they will be approaching st. Georges chapel. As we know her groom awaits. He arrived. He was looking lovely that frock coat single breasted with a standup color complete with figured braiding of regimental pattern. He is waiting for his bride. She is wearing a vale. Unexpected to wear a vale. Full vision of the dress will come. Shepard, i dont have to tell you have heard it from us the past several days it is all about that dress. And there are thousands of wellwishers that have lined the streets just to get a glimpse of all of this. Shepard i know you and everyone that has ever had a wedding understands all that goes through your mind on this ride to the church and you are about to marry into this new family and there is so much ahead. Think for Meghan Markle the actress from the United States, modest means, family divorced a long time ago whose father cant be here today. And now she is about to marry into one of the richest and most wellknown families in all the world. And everything about her life has already changed. And, yet, she says they are so tight and its so perfect that she is willing to do it anyway. Sandra i spoke with the royal photographer while we have been on the ground here in windsor who has photographed seven Royal Weddings. He knew harry in a very intimate, very intimate way. And he has been photographing them throughout this journey. And he said i have never seen a royal couple as close as these two. Just always has their arms, their hands around each other. Kissing each other in a very public way. And he said it has been absolutely beautiful for him to witness and frankly, all the photographers he is surrounded by. He sent us a note. He was out on the steps 6 30 a. M. This morning preparing to take the photo, which he predicts the photo for this couple will be the kiss, shepard. Shepard lets bring in our Royal Wedding contributor david pogson. There were so many unanswered questions. One thing we knew they were getting married today. Nobody knew what they were going to be wearing or how all of this was going to be playing itself out. Thats right. As we see today, its a great celebration. So, all those plans that have been laid over the last few weeks and months. Over these last few days as well have all come together for this wonderful celebration today in windsor. Sandra david, if i may, could you kind of describe what we are about to see here as Meghan Markle approaches the chapel . Yes, of course. The carriage you rightly say is on its way carrying the bride and her mother, too. Once the car arrives at the west steps which is where we have just seen actually both the groom and, indeed, the best man arrive, the best man will go up those steps up the great west door of the chapel and some stage im not entirely sure where the bride is greeted by bride and page boys as well. Shepard her mother is arriving at the galilee porch. We are 10 seconds before 11 45 a. M. That is the moment she is to arrive and that means thats when she will arrive. In the presence of god, father, son, and holy spirit, we have come together to witness the marriage of Henry Charles albert david and Rachel Meghan to pray for gods blessing on them, to share their joy and to celebrate their love. Marriage is a gift of god in creation through which husband and wife may know the grace of god. It is given that as man and woman Grow Together in love and trust they shall be united with one another in heart, body, and mind as christ is united with his bride, the church. The gift of marriage brings husband and wife together in the delight and tenderness of sexual union and joyful commitment to the end of their lives. Its given as the foundation of family life in which children are born and nurtured and each member of the family in good times and in bad may find strength, companionship and comfort and grow to maturity in love. Marriage is a way of life made holy by god and blessed by the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ with those celebrating awaiting galilee. Marriage is a sign of unity and loyalty, which all should uphold and honor. It enriches society and strengthens community. No one should enter into it lightly or selfishly. Reverently and responsibly in the sight of almighty god. Harry and meghan are now to enter this way of life. They will each give their consent to the other and make solemn vows and in token of this they will each give and receive a ring. We pray with them that the holy spirit will guide and strengthen them, that they may fulfill gods purposes for the whole of their earthly life together. Martin luther king once said and i quote we must discover the power of love, the redemptive power of love. And when we do that, we will make of this old world a new world. Beloved. Love is the only way. There is power in love. Dont under estimate it. Dont even oversentimenta oversentimentalize it. There is power. Power in love. If you dont believe me, think about a time when you first in love. Fell in love. The whole world seemed to center around you and your beloved. There is power. Power in love. Not just in its romantic form but any form, any shape of love. Theres a certain sense in which when you are loved and you know it, when someone cares for you and you know it, when you love and you show it, it actually feels right. There is something right about it. There is a reason for it. The reason has to do with the source. We were made by a power of love. And our lives were meant and are meant to be lived in that love. Thats why we were we are here. Ultimately the source of love is god himself, the source of all of our lives. There is no mid evil poem that says where true love is found. God himself is there. The new testament says it this way beloved, let us love one another because love is of god and those who love are born of god and know god. Those who do not love, do not know god. Why . For god is love. Theres power in love. There is power in love to help and heal when nothing else can. Theres power in love to lift up and liberate when nothing else will. There is power in love to show us the way to live. Set me as a seal on your heart. A seal on your arm, for love, it is strong as death. But love is not only about a young couple. Now, the power of love is demonstrated by the fact that were all here. Two young people fell in love and we all showed up. But its not just for and about a young couple who we rejoice with. Its more than that. Jesus of nazareth on one occasion was asked by a lawyer to sum up the essence of the teachings of moses. And he went back and reached back into the hebrew scriptures to deuteronomy and leviticus and jesus said you shall love the lord your god with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind and all your strength. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it, love your neighbor as yourself and then in matthews version, he added he says on these two love of god and love of neighbor hang all the law, all the profit. Everything that moses wrote. Everything the holy prophet. Everything that god has been trying to tell the world love god. Love your neighbors. And while you are at it love yourself. Someone once said jesus began the most revolutionary movement in all of human history, a movement grounded in the unconditional love of god for the world. And a movement mandating people to live that love and in so doing to change not only their lives. Im talking about the power, real power, power to change the world. If you dont believe me, well, there is slaves in americas antebellum south who explained the dynamic power of love and why it has the power to transform. They sang a spiritual even in the midst of their captivity. A bomb in gilead. A healing bomb in gilead to make the wounded whole. There is a bomb in gilead to heal the sin sick soul and one of the stanzas explains why it says if you cannot preach like peter and cant pray like paul, you just tell the love of jesus how he died to save us all. Oh, thats the bomb in gilead, this way of love. It is the way of life. They got it. He died to save us all. He didnt die for anything he could get out of it. Jesus did not get an honorary doctorate for dying. Wasnt getting anything out of it he gave up his life. He sacrificed his life for the good of others, for the good of the other for the wellbeing of the world for us. Thats what love is. Love is not selfish and selfcentered. Love can be sacrificial. And in so doing, becomes redemptive. And that way of unselfish sacrificial redemptive love changes lives and it can change this world. If you dont believe me, just stop and think or imagine, think and imagine. Well, think and imagine a world where love is the way. Imagine our homes and families when love is the way. Imagine neighborhoods and communities where love is the way. Imagine governments and nations where love is the way. Imagine business and commerce when love is the way. Imagine this tired old world when love is the way. When love is the way unselfish sacrificial, redemptive when love is the way. Then no child will go to bed hungry in this world ever again. When love is the way, we will let justice roll down like a mighty stream and righteousness like an everflowing brook. When love is the way, history. When love is the way, the earth will be a sanctuary. When love is the way, we will lay down our swords and shields down by the riverside to study war no more. When love is the way, theres plenty good room. Plenty good room for all of gods children because when love is the way, we actually treat each other, well, like we are actually family. When love is the way, we know that god is the source of us all and we are brothers and sisters, children of god. My brothers and sisters thats a new heaven, a new earth, a new world a new human family. And let me tell you something old solomon was right in the old testament, thats fire. With this i will sit down. We have got to get you all married. [laughter] french jesuit was arguably one of the great minds, great spirits of the 20th century. Jesuit, Roman Catholic priest, scientist, a scholar, a mystic. In some of his writings he said from his scientific background as well as his theological one. Some of his writings he said as others have, that the discovery or invention or harnessing of fire was one of the great, one of the great scientific and technological discoveries in all of human history. Fire to a great extent made human civilization possible. Fire made it possible to cook food and to provide sanitary ways of eating, which reduced the spread of disease in its time. Fire made it possible to heat warm environments and therefore made human migration around the world a possibility, even in the colder climate. Fire made it possible. There is no there was no bronze age without fair. No iron age without fire. No industrial revelation without fire. The advances of science and technology are greatly depend dent on the human ability and capacity to take fire and use it for human good. Anybody get her in a car today . An automobile . Nod your heads if you did, im guessing. I know there were some carriages. [laughter] but those of us who came in cars, fire is a controlled harness fire made that possible. I know that the bible says and i believe it that jesus walked on the water. But i have to tell you i didnt walk across the Atlantic Ocean to get here. Controlled fire in that plane got me here. Fire makes it possible for us to text and tweet and email and instagram and facebook and socially be dysfunctional with each other. [laughter] fire makes all of that possible and fire one of the greatest discoveries in all of human history. And he then went on to say that humanity ever harnesses the energy of fire ever again, if humanity ever captures the energy of love, it will be the second time in history that we have discovered fire. Dr. King was right. We must discover love, the redemptive power of love. And when we do that, we will make of this old world a new world. And when we do that, well make of this old world a new world. The Bishop Michael curry in the words of dr. Martin luther king jr. On the steps of a Royal Wedding and windsor is at long last woke. Princess diana must be dancing with the angels who watch over her boys. Think of this moment. Think of this man walking behind that on one of the darkest days in this monikers history and bringing the love of the nation around him and today bringing two worlds together an africanamerican preacher in the halls of royalty. Invoking gilead and dr. King and following in the example of slaves. He brought life to this place and life to this union. He eliminated the Atlantic Ocean and brought us all together as one. Whoever would have thought such a thing possible. And he reminded we got to get yall married so i will cut this off. I was waiting for a can i get an amen and an altar call to boot. That was the sermon for the ages. England needed it. Sandra many can assume that they will be talking about the reverend Bishop Michael curry the 27th presiding bishop of the episcopal church. He traveled to chicago to give that address and give that sermon for the bride and groom. They were intimately involved with all the details and planning. And now they will head off on this procession as you just saw. They are in that open carriage. The as scott landau carriage. Smaller more intimate of the five royal carriages. Now they will make their tour around windsor as you see the queen, fun to watch her face during the ceremony looking on at her grandson so proudly as the bride wore the tiara on loan from the queen. It belonged to queen mary and called the phiigree tier ravment the bride wore go go gavinci. They have never seen anything like that. Nothing like that has ever happened here. We have been doing this royal thing for hundreds of years and nothing like that has ever happened. If you thought this was going to be about the royals. A royal affair of 54. The royals. You were proven wrong. This was Meghan Markles wedding. Not just a Royal Wedding. Whoever put that together, you can talk about the gorgeous day and the gorgeous flowers and perfect bride and perfect groom and all of that, but what they will be talking about is that sermon. It feels like something two worlds really came together. Am i making too much of this, ainsley. Ainsley the gospel choir, too, shep, how beautiful were they and their clothing. They are called the kingdom choir, 20 singers, Inspirational Group and they sang stand by me. Not even a Traditional Church song at least here in this capacity. Then they sang this little light of mine and amen at the end. It was beautiful. Shepard love the amen chorus. I felt like i was home in mississippi. Sandra, a louisiana girl, we have heard that sort of thing all of our lives. Im reading people said that sermon was so long. That was 15 minutes. Let me tell you about long. They didnt get near it. Sandra one royal historian weighed in a few moments ago saying that the queen once said a sermon at a Royal Wedding should not last longer than two minutes. Well, this was a recordbreaking 13. Ainsley nothing was traditional about this wedding or little of it, i should say. She entered alone and then Prince Charles gave her away. We had the american, africanamerican episcopal sermon that was not traditional. It was very charismatic. She did omit the word obey aspirin says diana did from the common book of prayer. Her dress, i thought, was beautiful. I love the boat neck. It was very simple and im getting comments from friends saying she is not wearing a lot of makeup. Very simple earrings. Her hair wasnt exactly perfect. Some of it looked like was coming out in the back. People are loving. That seems like that is a lot about her personality. Tells a lot about her personality. Sandra and in a tribute to harrys mother, Princess Diana, the floral day core was absolutely stunning. And he, himself, the palace said, went and picked the flowers that went into her bouquet that she carried down the aisle. And, of course, this is the procession and, shepard, the windsor gray horses that carry that beautiful carriage throughout the town of windsor which something you cannot hear while you are watching inside of st. Georges chapel inside of that ceremony is there are big screens throughout windsor park here where have you got tens of thousands of people gathered to watch. And the cheering behind us was really something. And when they pronounced them husband and wife, the crowd went wild. Ainsley its a true cinderella story, isnt it . When you know about her background and halfbrother and what he said to harry and the half sister writing the book about her being a pushy princess. And her father with the paparazzi pictures. I think everyone is happy for her. This is about love. They are truly in love. And she is a divorcee and the queen giving her blessing because three of her four children ended up getting divorced. I think its time the monarchy has changed and the queen has allowed her boys to pick the wives that they wanted to marry, that they are in love with. Shepard just as their mother would have wanted, even demanded. I will never, in all my days, forget the noise of these same horses coming up the street in front of Kensington Palace and the silence in the streets, the smell of flowers in the air with tens of thousands of bouquets filling the entire yard at Kensington Palace. And that young boy walking behind with his head down, so poised and for years saying i should have talked about my mother. I havent been able to talk about it. What my mother wanted was for us all to love each other. She took us to orphanages. She took those boys to see the underprivileged. Soup line. She quietly took them to visit Cancer Patients to learn about what life is like for the billions of people all over this planet. She took them to africa. She made them understand about the beauty of life and the simplicity of life and how we should all live and work and love together. And that was todays message. And if that wasnt for diana, princess of wales, i dont know what it was. Because harry has said all along how his mother was the most important thing in all of his life. And he wanted to honor her memory. Todays inclusive ceremony, i thought, was as appropriate as spot on spot on as anything imaginable. She would have been she would have loved this. [cheers and applause] ainsley she is remembered. The white roses in the bouquet and the forget me no notes. One of Princess Dianas favorite flowers. The ones he picked yesterday at Kensington Palace to put in that bouquet lovely and beautiful. The vale is from 53 Different Countries or all of the countries in the commonwealth which is ano to the queen the queen is the head of all of those commonwealth. Chose one flower from each commonwealth and they were sewn into the vale. Those workers sewing those flowers in the vale had to wash their hands every 30 minutes to make sure they were clean. Sandra some moments during the ceremony too as members watching the bride and groom themselves a couple moments early on where they had a laugh. They seemed. Shepard they were laughing out here on the long walk during parts of the sermon, completely foreign, im confident, to everyone here. There were moments when you could hear the crowd laughing behind. Ainsley seemed to be a little bit more casual as a couple. Shepard this has got to be every brides dream, sandra, ainsley, come on, the prince and princess on carriage through the street on an absolutely perfect day. Its 70 degrees. And there are a Million People out to greet you. Sandra having been on the ground for several days in windsor. Every single house is flying their flags with the picture of the bride and the groom on them. There is such a sense of pride here in england. Ainsley i know all of us have been down there on the ground talking to the crowd. Many people have come from all over the world. One lady i talked to from australia. She wanted to be there and she started camping out on sunday. Shepard wow. Well, you know, its not a Brittany Spears concert, but you have got to do what have you got to do. Bring in Royal Wedding contributes louisa james and david pogson. I was thinking about the ceremony what the two of you must be thinking. Louisa, can we start with you. I absolutely loved it i think we were told to expect something a bit different, and it did not disappoint. Some of it was decidedly unbritish, wasnt it . That was so great about it. And you are now looking at the members of the royal family, looking at their faces thinking the queen has seen a lot of things in her 66 year reign, has she really seen anything quite like that . And you contrast their faces with those of meghan and doria who were absolutely transfixed, i thought, by the bishops address. Nodding along, smiling. You could see the pride written all over their faces. They know that thats what they have brought to this. They have suddenly got a country, a royal family, and, in fact, a world listening to their kind of guy, i guess, and whats important to them. That is something that they have brought into this royal family that has never been here before. I absolutely loved it. Sandra louisa, there was a moment there and to remind everybody, it was several days ago, it was this week that we learned that Prince Charles would be walking her down the aisle, at least along the choir. And there was a moment that so many are already talking about, where harry says thank you, pa. As charles handed her hand over to him at the altar. There were so many sweet moments throughout the ceremony. That was a real proper family intimate moment. You know, forget all the people watching. Forget the fact this was a Royal Wedding. That was a very sweet family moment. The other thing i loved was when she saw him, when harry saw meghan for the first time when she saw him. I mean, you dont have to be an expert literally to see that he said to her you look amazing. Just beautiful. I feel like we really feel like we know them, dont we . We feel like we have had insight into their relationship that perhaps we havent with other royal couples because they have been so open about it. And there was none of that kind of reserved demeanor that you might expect on a royal occasion. I think love for each other was written all over their faces. I have already seen on social media, you know, people saying things like have to find somebody that look the at me the way that prince harry looked at Meghan Markle. It was beautiful. Shepard david, what did you think . Yes, hello. Well, i just think its been an extraordinary, extraordinary morning. And n. A thousand years of british history, i think this particular day will be amongst the great highlights of all of this ceremony and the pageantry but ultimately its about the bride and bridegroom. We have been let in to see how they feel about each other today. And to help witness their wedding. Its been a real privilege. Ainsley david, think about how far both countries have come. What was going through the queens mind . Because things have changed drastically. I think things have changed throughout the queens 66 year reign. And things are constantly changed throughout british history. I think we are now just seeing a very happy time both for the couple and also naturally for the royal family as well. This is a wonderful partnership, a wonderful marriage each other. As we have seen on the brides vale. The bride had all of these floral tribute to the commonwealth country embroileeminemcountrycountry sandra we have been talking about the 27 presiding beneficial shop of the episcopal church. What a moment that was, 13 minutes that sermon and he did as he was expected to do, reflected on his and the couples shared belief. He says this marriage is significant in the sense that quote different worlds are being brought together. I think its wonderful that he is able to say those words. And, as we said very early on today, the couple wanted this to be a very personal wedding ceremony. And i think for the fact. Sandra here they come. Here today was lovely. Sandra we have the procession coming behind us here. And what a sight it is. Shepard the iphones are out. You cover this sort of grand event. And sometimes, sometimes very exciting. Sometimes tragic. But to see this really is quite extraordinary. There is no one in the world that puts on a show like the brits. Sandra the helmets and the breast plates on the cavalry. Ainsley, what a beautiful site and to have it right below us here. Ainsley can you imagine whats going through her mind right now . She is probably completely overwhelmed. I think thats why there were times in the wedding where she just kind of chuckled and thought is this really happening to me . Shepard that view that you just saw from the v. Thats where we are sitting just above. And here they come. There is would be no way for there to be a more perfect day than this. You couldnt order it up so well. For meghan and harry its truly extraordinary. Sandra yoextraordinary. San. Ainsley sandra, from a mothers perspective i thought about her mother wow, this is wonderful. They have been through so much. And then i thought, of course, about diana. And there they are right behind us, guys. Shepard yeah, i feel like, you know, even more so than with william, harry was harry was so young and so confused by his mothers death and all that followed it. That boy has been through a lot. And he really has gained the admiration of a nation here. That is without question. To a man and a woman and a child on the street, harry is their favorite guy. All the royals. I dont think anybody would doubt that and to see such a perfect day with its own, in its own way, must be really rewarding for everybody. Sandra another special touch to this day we were told there would be members of the military who served with harry lined along the route here. Shepard there they are. Sandra to pay tribute to a man we have heard some accounts of they loved working with him. They loved serving with him. And he really made his country proud. That as well as this moment. Ainsley we have watched him grow up. We watched him as a little boy like you were talking about when his mother died. But then also, he is so relatable. He went to college. He was the party boy. Made some mistakes along the way. And then served his country in the British Royal army and became a captain. Shepard and was said to be, by folks within his team and his supervisors as well, said he is the best pilot of all the group. Found himself in combat. Sneaked into the front lines when he had to, when he was a targets. They pulled him away. You know, he was one of the guys in there and literally fought for his nation and for freedom. Sandra he did. Now the fun begins. The ceremony is over. The procession is not long. It was expected to be about 25 minutes in total. And they are now on the long walk, heading back up to the castle and now they will be heading to st. Georges hall for a lunchtime reception with the queen, of course. And then they will depart later on for the evening reception at frog moorehouse. That will be hosted by the prince of wales. This long walk is 2. 6 miles and goes right through the property. You see the castle at the top of the hill. Goes all the way through a main road which is about where why are and up to the top of another hill. This is open to the public all the time. People can come and walk and have picnics here or most anything they want. There is more security today limited access. All of these people you see along the side. They walked here. Some walked from in town. Some from farms. Some from lots two, three miles away. This was not an easy get. Very early this morning, 5 00, 6 00 this morning people made their way out here by the hundreds of thousands. Extraordinary. Sandra a lot of americans present as well. I know you and ainsley ran into them on the streets as you were talking to people all week. Americans who came over for an american bride to be marrying into the British Royalty. And now we know their titles, right . Benjamin hall is live on the grounds of Windsor Castle as we know that the queen today said she was pleased to confer a duke dom on prince harry of wails, duk wales, duchf sufficiensussex. Everyone is going to be referring to meghan with one name meghan. The stamp she put on the ceremony was so clear. I think she will get that one word name like diana did before her. What we felt here was a traditional wedding starting off. We had the royal family arriving and then we them walking up the aisle, the first reading, the choir and that was all shattered when that when the reverend curry started speaking. And as it started to escalate and the volume rose until he was almost bellowing the power of love and referring back to the power of love of the slaves and invoking Martin Luther king. People here were looking at each other, were wondering what had happened . What had turned . And halfway through that people embraced it. And it broke the silence and people started laughing. And you suddenly felt at that point that it became everybodys wedding. And everyone here in Windsor Castle felt that, too. It was an incredible moment. Then the benny king song that followed it. It prince harry was quite stoned face. You didnt know what was going through his mind. And then the smile that broke from ear to ear. You can feel it here. An amazing success. Of course, prince harry has been cedar into the hearts of people from an early age when he was 12 walking behind the coffin of his mother, his wild days and fighting in afghanistan. Also significant and seeing him come out like this has further endeared him to us. Its been a remarkable moment like i Say Something i wont forget. It was choreographed perfectly. There wasnt a step wrong. Minute by minute. And while the ceremony was going on inside, soldiers are lining up outside, one by one, perfectly spread apart. Waiting for the moment when they would leave. And as i said, it couldnt have worked better from this site. Its been an absolute joy. I hear the crowd behind. Everyone is celebrating. Shepard during these events, benjamin, you know this from being here forever, when this sort of event takes place, britains go outdoors. They decorate their yards. They have garden parties. Most people are outside. If you werent here, you are outside in your yard. So across windsor, across the british countryside, in the tight quarters in london, even out on patios there, everyone in Great Britain is outside today celebrating this. When the weather is good, it brings everybody out. And today really across this kingdom its not a bank holiday for once a wedding is on a saturday. Im 100 percent sure everyone is loving this. Absolutely. Even if the weather had been bad, the feeling may well have been the same. This couple have grabbed the imagination of the public here. And so you felt that. But, yet, it couldnt have gone any better. The weather was out and the carriage had the top down, which it wouldnt have had it been raining. We got a closeup view of them. Harry and william arrived earlier. They walked up to the chapel. Everyone got a good look at them. They waived and then the bridesmaid and page boys came by. We have been up close with them over here. It feels very special as im sure it does for you guys. Ainsley benjamin we were hoping or at least i was hoping she would wear the tiara that belonged to dianament the won she wore in her wedding. Her sister did speak. It was beautiful. Did you feel like diana was remembered enough . Absolutely. I think the willingness to put her own mark on it was important. And thats what she wanted to do. She has often been compared to diana. She doesnt want to be like diana. She wants to go up on her own. She has so many things to do tied to that early on she says she was a hugger. Princess diana was a hugger when she met with people. Big that from the royal family. She left out obey from her ceremony. Diana did that as well. You do feel she is here. Wherever she is up in the sky, she is dancing with the angels today. Sandra what a moment this has been. There they are, the bride and the groom as they complete their short journey throughout the town of windsor, as they head back in to st. Georges hall to begin their lunch. Meanwhile, Senior Foreign Affairs correspondent greg palkot is live outside of Windsor Castle. Greg, the crowds are loving every minute of this. An amazing day. Thanthe Fox News Team was 20 yards away from the carriage as meghan and harry passed by. No public between us and them. I have got to tell you a seasoned war correspondent shouting out saying hi to meghan and harry they turned back and smiled and said hi, too. Its that kind of day and feeling here. They are approaching Windsor Castle again, finishing up their roll through long walk and they will be starting the important afternoon part of the event. That is two and a half hour party with many people that we met going in here a couple hours ago. 2600 people from all over the u. K. Active in charities. Active in communities. Active in schools. And this is the real democratic portion of this wedding celebration. Again, we saw u. S. And u. K. Very well represented inside the halls of st. Georges chapel. And now as the carriage goes into and inside the Windsor Castle grounds, well see the next portion. Again, about two and a half hours they will be partying at st. Georges hall. And then tonight the real party 200 select guests will be at frog moorehouse. Thats a mansion about a mile away from here. And we understand that elton john, one of the major guests invited to this event, might be tickling the ivories. And if you guys talk about the connection between what we reported first for fox back in 1997, the horrible death of Princess Diana and the role that elton john played in that and the connection to the spirit, the memory of the mother of harry, well that can be again in what can i imagine will be a very positive way. Its been a moving day so far. A very unconventional day so far. A bit of a music fan. And to hear that benny king song stand by me. Sang in such a soulful and wonderful way in the halls of a 500yearold british chapel, thats quite astounding stuff. We have just begun, guys. Sandra there suspects now inside the gates and their lunch will begin and there is the long walk. The crowds filled up throughout this morning. And it was really something to see. Thats actually us, right, shepard, that big tall green. That tall green thing. Sandra we have the best view in the house here. And it was such a personal ceremony as well. And as you were watching the carriage tour around windsor there. That was an example of how harry and meghan were involved in every decision of this wedding process. They picked that ascott landau carriage because it was more small and intimate and have the open top. They wanted this access to these tens of thousands of wellwishers and supporters that came out to see them and wish them a happy marriage. Shepard palkot talking about elton john. If you are on your phone at all, you know that green cap of elton john. With his smile turned upside down. Shocked by what he was seeing by way of protocol being busted. You think how he set the tone back in 1991. Goodbye Englands Rose was number one on top of all the charts. Everywhere you turned there was not a dry eye in the city that was here for a week or so during that time. And that song from elton john and the spirit of that song, people singing it in the streets literally was, i felt like at the time, a turner for this place. They had to get their feet back under them. The extraordinary grief, which is on display. And there elton john is there now. Lets listen to this. Oh, i thought we had sound from there but apparently we dont. Anyway, we all know how the kids mom loved him and what good friends they were. He did set a tone back then. I think Gillian Turner, our correspondent who has been covering the Royal Wedding this week. Part of the tone of this event has been the bringing together of two cultures and specifically the bringing together of the American Culture and the british culture. I cant imagine that there has been a time when that has been better accomplished. Thats right, shep. Meghan represented the United States just beautifully this afternoon. There is no one who could have done it better. And the marriage, as you say, is going to be a tremendous asset to the u. S. U. K. Relationship Going Forward. There has been some strain in that relationship in the brexit vote. Meghan and harry set to be a very potent symbol Going Forward. The bond of these two countries. They have bound the two countries together by blood and future generations of the British Royal family are going to be partly american. Really remarkable. She also she may have married into the British Royal family today, but i do believe from now Going Forward meghan is going to be known as americas princess bride. Shepard that wouldnt surprise me. She did us right today, didnt she . Whoever would have thought to hear those songs in this setting or that spirit in this place. I never would have occurred to me that that was possible. Ainsley what did you make of the charismatic preaching and the choir, not traditional at all. Not traditional at all. I personally lapped it up. I loved every moment. I think i was enaptured as meghans mother were listening to that cello music was stunning. There were many, many celebrities at this event today. But, for me, Doria Ragland was really the star of the show. Watching her response to not only seeing meghan for the first time as she arrived at the church, walked up the aisle, but then watching her throughout the ceremony. We picked up the cameras picked up a couple of moments where she looked at meghan and her eyes filled with tears and had to look away. It was almost as if she couldnt look at her daughter because she was overso overcome with emotion and didnt want to be flooded with tears in front of their family and friends. I found it incredibly moving. Sandra they are now the duke and duchess of sussex. The queen is hosting a lunchtime reception. It is off to a party hosted by the grooms brother, william this evening at frog moorehouse. And the crowds, meghan and harry, made a big part of this. And ainsley, as we have been looking on, many of these many of these members of the public were invited in by the couple themselves. Many of them involved in part of harrys charities, which she is now going to be a huge part of as well. They have talked a lot about that leading up to this wedding. Ainsley thats right. There has been talk that he didnt go on one of his hunting trips because she is such an animal activist. They invited people from every corner of the u. K. Including folks involved in many of his charities including Invictus Games. There were 100 students invited from the royal school and st. Georges school and 200 people from charities that he had a very close relationship with. I remember watching one of those documentaries of diana, when the boys were talking about her, for one of the first times since her death, and they told a story about how she walked into that they said what would diana do if she could play with her grandchildren now. They said she would walk into the bathroom and spray all of them with soap and water. The bathroom would be a mess and she would have fun and then get up and walk out and not clean it up. I try to be more like that as a mother after hearing that story. You know, dont cry over spilled milk kind of stuff. Shepard you mentioned the charities. The couple has been adamant on this. They dont want any gifts. They dont want any gifts sent to anyone or anywhere. They dont want flowers to go anywhere. They want donations to charities, if you are so inclined. They have given a list of the charities which they hope people will consider contributing toward, childrens hiv association. Crisis, which is a National Charity for homeless people. There are scottys little soldiers. Which is a charity for bereaved arm forces children. Inspired by the experience of a war widow named nikki scott. That charity offers vital support of children who have lost a parent while serving in the British Armed forces. That list of charities is available online. This lets bring in our Royal Wedding contributors louisa james and david pogson. David, you have seen many of these Royal Weddings . What are we seeing . Whats the history behind what we are witnessing here in the streets of windsor . Well, there is a lot of history but i think really the main aspect today is that history has been made today by the duke and duchess with their own wedding. There has been lots of ceremonies before. Im sure there will be lots in the future. But this particular wedding is unique. And i just cant add anything further than that, really. Its been extraordinary, extraordinary day. And the other aspect, too, people are aware of now maybe the bridal bouquet, some of the flowers in the brides bouquet today were picked only yesterday from the groom from that private garden at Kensington Palace. What a lovely extra personal touch that prince harry picked some flowers for his bride today. Sandra louisa, i wanted to bring you in as well. We are getting word that thomas markle, meghans father, as we know, having health problems, has decided not to attend the ceremony today. Meghan said she wished time for her father to get well. And he just told tmz that my baby looks beautiful and she looks very happy. I wish i were there, and i wish them all my love and all happiness. It must be incredibly difficult for him to watch that for thousands and thousands of miles away. He should have been there with her on this special day. She wanted nothing more than for him to be there. You know, circumstances made it impossible. And i think he was involved in the decision to have Prince Charles accompany her down the last part of the aisle. Im sure he would have been very proud to see that happen kind of in his name. We just heard the procession go past us here. You could hear it in the background. I think now we are getting into the more traditional aspect of the wedding after that very untraditional ceremony. This is what normally happens after a Royal Wedding in terms of the procession through the streets with the military accompaniment. And actually, whats quite interesting here because prince henry served in the british army for 10 years a lot of those people out in force lining the streets and accompanying that procession are people he knows, people who served with him. He spoke with some of them last week who were kind of joking about taking at him, trying to make him laugh during the procession. These are people who he spent a lot of time with where he was able to be not really a member of the royal family but one of the guys on the front line in afghanistan. So im sure they are absolutely loving seeing him now drive through the streets of windsor with his new life. Wife. Shepard Meghan Markles father, the type of man whom Princess Diana demanded that her children show respect and for whom she tried to lead by example for the nation to suggest and demand that they show respect. Divorced in the 1980s, living largely as a homeless man in mexico for a long time. Many complications beyond health in this relationship. Who doesnt understand complicated family life. They had to close it late yesterday afternoon just before sun set. They had to close it because they run out of glasses. So some from our crew walked up the street to another pub to get glasses, came back, handed them through the windows at the prince harry and they filled up another pint for our crew who was winding down from a long day. Its a very familiarial welcoming, warm place. You think of the stiff upper lip sort of British Royalty that we have all come to know and understand. Thats not what this has been like. 180. Sandra let me tell you something i have had a similar experience and most of our crew and the folks that we brought with us here to work with us here, the military, the police, everyone, security working everywhere has been so delightful. And, yet, so efficient. Look how seemless this process has been. Still have a long way to go today. But, it has been organized. It has been beautiful. Shepard as nice as they can be. Shepard so many times you travel to big events around the World Everybody is so keyed up because you are afraid of what may go wrong as a result it becomes sort of difficult. By way of example and that only here on this platform where we sit, there are military snipers who are standing by just in case they are necessary. One who is going to be retiring in just a few months. As laid back and easy going today as imaginable, given such a big job. Sandra they said we just hope nobody needs us and we have a lovely day. They are madly in love, it appears. So the weather has been great. Everything is so clean here in windsor. Security has been wonderful as far as the pubs are concerned. Guess what happens . The lights get shut off and shoved out the door. That was princess kate leaning down to talk to charlotte and point something out that she thought she might enjoy seeing. Remember in the ceremony, shep, you thought this was great. When the minister said something about bless you. Remember he said something about blessing you with babies. And prince harry got tickled. Shepard it was he who giggled and smiled. Time for babies. Shepard usually the other way around. Ainsley she was nervous at first that was in the beginning. Now she is getting adjusted. Shepard he was fidgeting and fussing a little bit during the early part of the ceremony. Ainsley she is 36 years old. Will would he be seeing babies soon. Sandra they have both indicated they would like to have children. I remember in that now very famous intimate interview he gave to b. B. C. Several years ago. He said he would like to have children at that moment. He just was waiting to find the right person. And i think thats truly why you see this country so happy, looking on at prince harry, finding his bride. We havent talked about kate middleton. We were awaiting her arrival. Shepard we havent seen much of her. She arrived with the bridesmaids and page boys because of Little George and charlotte were involved in the wedding. And she was wearing beautiful elegant butter cream hat and dress. Kate middleton fresh off having a brand new royal baby. Shepard when she walked out of that hospital looking like she never had a baby much less three of them. Ainsley there she is. Shepard speaking of that good job in the crew back there. So many kids. So many puppies. Its just a real Family Affair out here. Sandra and friends. You are seeing the bridesmaids walking up the steps, many of which are with their mothers, including kate middleton. The others are friends of the bride. One of her good friends coming in from canada. Many she knows from her show suits. Ainsley one in the middle is one of her best friends. She is a designer oh, gosh, whats the word when you help someone get dressed and shop for them. Sandra stylist. Ainsley she is very famous in california. She has two twins boy and a little girl. One of the twin boys was standing behind kate when she was walking into the chapel. The little boy who had his mouth open, remember, shep and he was standing behind her. Shepard i felt like that was going to be iconic picture. So cute back behind her. You saw the queen there, every royal readout that you come across when studying for an event like this will tell you the queen is almost always the bestdressed at any event. What did you think of that today . Sandra well, she wore yellow and she looked beautiful. And when you look back at this ceremony. Shepard she is 92, right . Sandra many are calling it a modern ceremony. A modern Royal Wedding, shepard. The queen was there to look on and what is changing right before her. And where did you see the modern waves of the Royal Wedding was in the couples vows. Lets look back at this. Will you take meghan to be your wife . It turned out to be perfect. It was very flattering to her figure. Her mother is a yoga instructor. Shes clearly taken care of herself. She looked stunning. I liked the boat neck and the three quarter length sleeve so you could see the diamond bracelet. If you have a good neckline its beautiful. Could you image being that composed. You called it with her hair. You said i bet she will wear her hair up. You guys notice everything. We do. You have a second career. We are loving this. Im in my element. All the politics back home let us stay here. Im just glad its not raining. My favorite quote was he left the country. Build the wall. Louisa james must have a thought on this Wedding Dress. There was a lot of talk about her having an embellished dress. Some thought she might have a ralph and russo dress. A what . A ralph and russo. Everything i saw her wearing was simple and sleek. I couldnt see her wearing a lot of lace and beads. The chances were she was wearing a tiara. I was surprised to see it so sleek and elegant. Shes gone with a french fashion house, givenchy. There is a british designer that designed the dress. It would have been controversial if she hadnt had a british designer. How big of a deal is that . Sorry, how big of a deal is that. I was watching british local news this morning and one of the anchors said she must wear one of our designers. It wouldnt be prolite if she doesnt. Clearly she did. The designer is the first artistic director for givenchy. I dont think thats an accident either. Meghan markle will always want to be supportive of a woman who is needing a way in something in being a feminist. I dont think thats an accident either. In fact, all of those who have been in running have been british or british canadian, or british australian. It would have been very unpopular if she would have gone with someone from somewhere else. Louisa, what did you think as you looked on at her mother during the ceremony. Shes been in the spotlight but not this capacity until now . I think we all watched that wedding through the eyes of her mother. She was the star of the show. The royal family are quiet good at keeping their emotions to themselves. You look at the queen and Prince Phillip their phrases were quiet impassive. The same thing with kate and william. It was just written all over her face. You could see her taking deep breathes every now and then. Looking up at the ceiling and then the floor. Trying to compos herself. The pride and emotion she felt was clear for all to see. If you look at the internet now. If you look at twitter its she who is dominating peoples thoughts. Shes feeling a lot of love. She was really feeling it, wasnt she. Thats what people like to see. They dont want to see people buttoned up. She seemed nervous at the top. They took that shot of her right after her when vows were exchanged. She looked like, this is done, checkmark as a mother.
