A bearing on down ballot racing especially the senate races where think they have a golden opportunity to gain control of the you were chamber of commerce. For this we turn to john i want to start you out by showing what the real clear politics average is showing in the state of New Hampshire where an thats one of the states where there is incumbent republican senator running. That shows thats the president ial preference. Were looking for the senate race. There it is. Kelly ayotte incumbent republican. She is leading maggie hess on the democratic governor obviously running for the senate this time by a cup perform points. How does this race hook to you. This someone of the races where the republican senator has had an awkward relationship with donald trump. At first she said she was goings to support him but not endorse him. At a debate she stumbled over her relationship in terms of the depth of her support for donald trump. After the videos came out she said she cant support donald trump anymore. She is going to write mike pence in as a writein for her support. She has lost trump base. At love republicans hard core in New Hampshire have decided to kind of take out frustrations on kelly ayotte. Very close race and about as close as any of these battleground. Knowing the political nature of New Hampshire now. Obviously she took a gamble when she decided to pull away from trump basically all together. In your view, did that cost her more than it gained her . New hampshire is a very, as you said, independentminded state. Probably more voters that are agreeing with Kelly Ayottes position, visavis donald trump. The challenge though is that the people who support donald trump are almost taking out their frustration against these republican down parking lot office holders. Whenever they hear a republican that isnt going to support donald trump, they may leave the ballot blank down ballot. That would make a difference. In pennsylvania pat toomey the incumbent republican is running against katie environmental official in the Clinton Administration if i remember correctly. The clintongore administration. And that race is really tight and thats a tough state it looks like trump is trailing pretty badly there. Does it look to you as if toomey is going to be swept out with the tide . Its challenging race given the environment for pat toomey and big challenge for republicans is voterich moderate philadelphia subpushes where donald trump is taking a beating in statewide polling. Pat toomey has positioned himself as pragmatic republican gotten support from Mike BloombergGun Control Group put up support in his math in pennsylvania. Pat toomey is running well ahead of the tide in pennsylvania. The question is the tide is pretty steep and trump is almost down double digits in statewide polling. Its a real challenge. Would you say if that ends up double digits toomey. Needs to stay single digit margin. Big issue. Take a look at missouri, incumbent republican senator roy blunt in a tight race out there with democrat jason candor. Thats another less than 2. 5 point margin as you can see there what do you see out there . Democrats are about as excited about their challenger secretary of state jason candor than they are any other candidate in big battleground race. Is he running well ahead the republican ticket. Or rather candor is running ahead of the democrat ticket. Trump is still in pretty good shape in missouri, right . He is up by a few points. The big issue in this case is roy blunt and the issue that democrats are using against roy blunt is his lobbying ties. The fact that he has been in washington for decades and he has son, former governor, is now a prominent lobbyist in the state. So they are using a lot of insider playbook that donald trump used against republican candidates this time the democrats are using it against roy blunt. And finally, in indiana, where there is an open seat, a seat that has been held by the republicans so this is one they would desperately like to hold on to, it looks like evan bayh well known because his father was a democratic senator from that state and he, himself, was formerly a senator from that state is running ahead there i have been hearing that republicans are still pretty optimistic about that. What do you hear about that. Momentum is in republicans in indiana. Evan bayh well known. Father governor. Well liked as senator and governor himself. But the fact that he, after leaving office, came to washington, made a lot of money as a lobbyist. Lobbying during the interim after he left the senate. Brian blunt had the same issue tie to lobbyists. Both insiders. Both in red states except for bye tough in a state that probably is going to vote for donald trump to get enough of those trump voters to his side. So, all in all, how well do you think republicans are across the board, the republican incumbents trying to desperately to hold onto the senate when there is, what, 24 of them up. How do they seem to be doing in relation to how trump is doing . Its very, very close. I reported today that republican polling showed seven of these races, all of them held by all of them held by republicans, they are all within the margin of error. These could go either way. The senate is really truly hanging in the balance. Operating in a different plain as the president ial race. But, republicans need to win almost all these battleground states. And the separation from trump on ballots help or hurt . It helps. But when you are down 10 points. Trump is losing by 10 points or double digits, its a challenge. Josh, thanks very much. On the eve of the final president ial debate trump is not exactly boning up for the event. He is very much on the campaign trail. Today, he had an idea well, not new, is new coming from him. Fox News Campaign carl cameron is live in las vegas. Hi, carl. Hi, brit. Trump has been preparing for this debate really since the last one, trying out new policy ideas, different attacks on Hillary Clinton. Today he came one a policy idea that we are sure onto hear about tomorrow night as well. Effectively he said he is going to drain the swamp and get rid of corruption in washington with term limits. This is how he put it got specific for the house and senate and how he would limit their terms with a constitutional amendment watch. If im elected president. I will push for a constitutional amendment to impose term limits on all members of congress. [cheers and applause] im proposing a term limit of six years for members of the house and 12 years for members of the senate. So that translates to three house terms and two senate terms and it also raises a lot of questions. Trump is running as the outsider. He has been bashing washington. He has been bashing the House Speaker paul ryan and he has been bashing democrats. Now he is respectivelied aing to conscious, trying to limit their terms which probably not find a lot of support for from members of Congress Even those who have in the past said that they are going to be supporters of term limits. We have had experience where there have been members of congress who have voluntarily said that they would stay two and stayed for three or four and becomes their creditors. Thats exactly the type of corruption and insider double talk that trump has been running against. In the meantime, he has also been preparing for tomorrow nights battle anticipating a hot of shots from Hillary Clinton. Realizing that in his words, the media is trying to suppress his vote. He is blaming the press for trying to do his candidacy in with unfair coverage. Saying that there hasnt been enough attention to Hillary Clintons campaign. Now, in fact, his own staff, his aids have said part of the reason he is so aggressively attacking Hillary Clinton is to suppress her vote. So we have two candidates seeking looking for votes to win an election and doing so by trying to make sure as few possible people actually do show up at the polls, brit . Quick question, carl. Just to remind viewers. Tell people what it would take to enact a constitutional amendment . You have got to get all of the states to agree to it majority of the states, actually. And get congress and senate also to go along with it the odds of that happening are very, very small, brit. Its like two thirds. Carl, i think its two thirds of the house and senate and 3 5ths of the state, right . 3 5ths of the states . Think about how easy that would be, brit. These races we are looking at now across the country are so so evenly matched in some cases that its hard to tell if there is ever going to be any unity on anything other than people are just dissatisfied with politicians. All right. Carl, thanks very much. Democrats tonight have been answering a video that seems to show how Party Operatives deliberately instigated violence at Donald Trumps rallies. As Jennifer Griffin reports from las vegas despite the doe nunsations two democratic operatives have been relieved of duty. Since donald trump launched his bid for president northeasterly a year and a half ago, reports of violence at trump rallies have surfaced again and again. I would like it punch him in the face, i will tell. You the controversial under cover conservative group has released video showing democratic operatives conspiring to incite. Descript of engagement. Sometimes a crazy fight. And sometimes the crazies dont fight. Thats one of the key figures in the video scott who was identified as the National Field director for the Progressive Group americans united for change. We know the trump people will freak [bleep]. The Security Team will freak out and his supporters will lose their [bleep] its a process called bird dogging where provocateurs infiltrate rallies and provoke supporters in to helpingout. James okeefe has been convicted and forced it pay 100,000 fine in the past. Caught doctors videos and twitter recently blocked him from his own account preventing him from using the social media platform. The group claims this spliced video shows democratic operatives feeding the narrative that trump fans are dangerous and violent. The video shows that he is directly coordinating with the Clinton Campaign and dnc. He has contracted directly with the dnc and campaign both. It is edited in such a way that it is no longer clear whether he is referring to the alleged bird dogging. Americans united for change, the group foval worked for says foval no longer works for them. Bob who runs the group Democracy Partners stepped bang from his role with the dnc and issued a statement that said an interim dnc chair donna brazil told fox news the discredited source of these videos james okeefe is a convicted criminal with a history of doctoring video to advance his ideological agenda. We are in the process of conducting an internal investigation to determine whether he and his cohorts committed any illegal activities in this wellfunded operation. But that didnt stop donald trump from addressing it on the campaign trail today. The protesters are paid a lot of money by the dnc. And i kept saying i wonder why those people are here. Because they never seemed to have much on their mind other than stand up and protest. Yesterday it came out. But it was barely covered by the media. In a separate case okeefe was charged and convicted for tampering phone lines at former louisiana senator Mary Landrieus office. Fox reached out to all parties mentioned in the video for a statement. A senior dnc official told me tonight that they never had a formal relationship for americans united for change that same official, brit, told me that, remember, james okeefe is a felon. Back to you. Just one quick question, jennifer. I do understand correctly that in addition to the first name you mentioned Robert Kramer also has given up his role with the Democratic Campaign . He does not have a formal role with the Clinton Campaign or with the dnc, but the contract that his group, his Consulting Group called democracy now had with the dnc, he has said he will step away so that he is not an issue in these last three weeks. The election, he said, is too important. Thats two. Thank you, jennifer. Today president obama weighed in on the quid pro quo allegations involving the state department and the fbi. And later in the day fox news chief intelligent correspondent Catherine Herridge went to state Department Briefing to ask some questions. What did you find out. President obama said today these are unsubstantiated accounts of a quid pro quo, you know, i will scratch your back, youll scratch mine, with the fbi and the state department. But, he is referring to these fbi interviews known as 302s. And it is the fbis language that there was a quid pro quo discussed. This was, in fact, a statement by an fbi agent. Correct. Who said he had been asked by the state department to change the classification on a particular document, right . Yes. In exchange for . In exchange for getting fbi agents more postings at overseas diplomatic facilities. Right. So this is, again, this is not fox language or republican language. This is the language of a senior fbi official who oversees classification. Now, we went to the state Department Today because what the records also show is that patrick kennedy, one of Hillary Clintons. He is the guy who was involved negotiating with the fbi. Exactly. Principle lieutenant when she was secretary of state on multiple occasions is pressuring people to change the classification on the emails. Especially after march of 2015. Thats a critical period because at that point, as you know, congress had issued a subpoena for the records and issued a preservation order for the records. Thats the issue we took up with the state Department Today. Trying to change the emails after march 4th 2015 would, in effect, change or alter the evidence that had been requested by congress. First of all, these were documents for public release through the foia process and not necessarily what we shared with congress. So we didnt really get a great answer to the question. The reason we asked the question is that republicans who were pursuing, this brit, say this goes to the heart of the matter that kennedy was trying to alter the evidence in a way that would be more favorable to the state department and to Hillary Clinton. Yeah. Because, if the documents classifications were reduced or. Correct. Eliminated. Absolutely. It would reduce the charge against her. Correct. That she was sloppy in the handling of classified information. That is correct. It was clearly after the request had been made. Yes. This negotiation, if you will, took place between the fbi official who dealt with such things and kennedy at the state department. I went back to this particular document, which was a letter that was sent to the computer it firm in colorado that wassin was managig the server by the House Government Oversight Committee and it specifically says on march 3rd, thats when the retention order was issued by the Benghazi Select Committee for clintons emails and then on march 4th, 2015, the subpoena was issued. And this. Thats the very day, right . This is actually four weeks afterwards. This is up through may, june, and july of 2015. This is many months after congress has said stop, do not touch the records. And provide them to congress. But kennedy is trying to get the classification. Alter them . Exactly. This would be favorable, because you and i both know saying there are 150 classified emails here versus 2100 classified emails is a big gap. Yeah, i will say. Catherine, thank you very much. You are welcome. Right now lets speed read other news in politics. People magazine writers have come forward to being accosted by donald trump. Wrote that trump forcibly kissed her in 2005 while she was in florida working on a story him and his wife. Trump denied the allegations. Today People Magazine posted the story in which six friends say the writer told them about the alleged attack soon after it happened. One of them said she was with her when she ran into Melania Trump again in new york just weeks later. Melania trump has denied that that encounter occurred. Candidates are announcing their guest list for the final debate tomorrow night. Donald trump has invited pat smith who you may recall is the mother of sean smith an american killed in benghazi. She as you probably remember gave an emotional speech at the Republican National convention. As for Hillary Clintons guests, she has inquite varietied the Businessman Mark Cuban and meg whitman who is a republican. And donald trump chatter is breaking all records on facebook. Every week this month trump has shattered previous records for generating facebook conversations. Last week users generated 307 million likes, comments, shares and posts about trump. Thats up from 253 million the week before. By comparison, Hillary Clinton hit her alltime high last week with 206 million on facebook. Critics have claimed trump is too buddy with vladimir putin. He just revealed post election plans. Campaign chairman called Bernie Sanders a quote dufus and that from the newest wikileaks dump. Thats coming up, too. From side to side.
