Voters are unsatisfied. They want change. Dana tell me about this idea of, we had soccer moms way back when. Theres a tendency for us to try to put people in boxes so we can manage and understand whats happening in the country. Theres no question there will be more women in congress. There will be more in the senate and a lot more in the congress. What impact might that have . Youre right. Were gonna crack more than 100 in the u. S. House of representatives for the first time in u. S. History, which is great. The way you teed it up is right. Its not just women for trump president. Its women overall. There are suburbs we see in minnesota and elsewhere, there are 25 districts generally more suburban, generally more affluent that voted for secretary clinton and a republican in the house. They are battleground number one tonight. Dana but what about blue collar workers, men and women, but certainly men who consistently rank the president very high. Lot of them in the rust belt states where you have people who voted for president obama, then voted for President Trump. What do you think will happen in those districts tonight . Hockey family. County commissioner up there. Really knows the area. I do think whats interesting, youre going to see some Broad National trends for sure. What makes politics to interesting are the occasional candidates who can defy the broad trend. Will herd in texas that have done such a great job in texas whether its a National Wave or just a rip tide, we see their ability to stay and succeed because theyve done a good job. Dana do you stay up until the counting is done . Maybe. It sort of depends. Certainly in 2016 i did. Didnt see that one coming. I dont probably stay up until i think i know whats going to happen. Dana youre going to stay up and watch us. I never miss a moment of you on tv. Dana bruce melman, thank you. Well have a live report from the volunteer state. Soso pizza . Not in this house. cause thats no soso family. Thats your family. Which is why you didnt grab just any cheese. You picked up new kraft expertly paired mozzarella and parmesan for pizzahyeah kraft. Family greatly. At afor the financialts time world to stop acting the same old way. You need a partner that is willing to break free from conventional thinking. We are a different kind of financial company. We are athene, and we are driven to do more. I am a techie dad. N. Theres a huge race in lexington and some of the surrounding rural counties. One that Mitch Mcconnell will be watching closely. One thats gonna give us a sense of how this night will shape up. Its a trump district he won by almost 20 points. Democrats recruited a Fighter Pilot who has a decorated record and has run a strong campaign. If democrats win in kentucky, it could mean the house will be in jeopardy. Dana if they dont win . Republicans can breathe a sigh of relief. Dana at 7 00 p. M. , what happens . Looking at virginia and indiana. Virginia. Lot of house races in virginia. Dave bratt, very conservative. Abigail spamberger. Shes one of the strongest democratic recruits. Suburban district that voted for President Trump. If republicans hold the seat thats a good sign. Dana indiana. Joe donnelly. The senate will start in indiana. First state to close. Its a very close race. Both sides have an advantage. If donnelly win, democrats might have a chance to gain a seat in the senate. Dana wow. If republicans can beat donnelly, that means the night is looking good. Dana president is finishing up his campaign im sorry, last night in indiana. Missouri is closing at 8 p. M. . The race between gillum and desantis looks presentative. Dana okay. Then we get to 9 p. M. Then youre going up north to wisconsin and south to texas. Governors race. If there was one governors race im keeping a close eye on is scott walker. Hes won three times. If scott walker cant win, given his longstanding ties to the state, might be a rough night. Dana everyone keeps talking about texas. Are you ready to stop talking about texas . Well know at 9 p. M. If this beto hype is for real. If ted cruz shows a strong showing dana theres lots of house races. Seven republican held seats democrats are aggressively contesting. We probably arent going to know until california starts counting its votes. If democrats flip a few seats, it will be a good night. Dana what youre saying is its going to be a late night. Alaska race in alaska, too. Dana we thank you, josh, for coming on the show. Next a battle to control the senate could hinge on races in tennessee and indiana. Two close matchups going down to the wire. Plus President Trump is not on any ballots but is this election really a referendum on him an his record . I mean, who ever even heard of midterms . I have had a lot of people say i dont know what midterm is but now im watching every single minute and im going out to vote. But the key is you have to go out to vote. In a sense, i am on the ticket. You got to vote. It left behind an when environmental issue. Down, it was environmentally contaminated. One of the biggest successes we had early on, was entering agreements with the epa on cleaning up the property. Were recycling over 98 of the products on site. The impact that this project will have on the community will be enormous. Smile dad. I take medication for high Blood Pressure and cholesterol. But they might not be enough to protect my heart. Adding bayer aspirin can further reduce the risk of another heart attack. Because my Andrew Gillum arrived here with his wife and three young children, hoping to make history, to become floridas first elected black governor. He told us he voted for himself. Because my Second Chance matters. Be sure to talk to your doctor before you begin an aspirin regimen. Super emma just about sleeps in her cape. But when we realized she was battling sensitive skin. We switched to tide pods free gentle. Its gentle on her skin and out cleans the other free and clear detergent. Dermatologist recommended. Its got to be tide. We really pride ourselvesglass, on making it easy to get your windshield fixed. With safelite, you can see exactly when well be there. Saving you time for what you love most. Kids whoa kids vo safelite repair, safelite replace dana we keep talking about indiana. Phil bredesen battling for bob corkers open seat. Jeff flock is in indianapolis. Lets begin with steve harrigan. He is in a great town of tennessee. Steve . Reporter dana, just a Beautiful Day here in franklin, tennessee. Really been a tough fight in the state. President trump carried the state by 26 points in 2016. Both candidates have been criss crossing tennessee trying to get in some last minute campaigning. Marsha blackburn has had three visits from President Trump during the campaign. She said she is confident in victory today. We are working hard. Im going to be your next senator. Reporter Phil Bredesen said hes encouraged especially from support of younger voter. He said hes tried to make the race about local issues. My race is in no way a referendum on donald trump. Do you think voter doss . Reporter this has been the most expensive race in tennessee history. 80 million spent. 50 million is from outside groups trying to influence who controls the senate. Dana, back to you. Dana in the red state of indiana, voters are deciding between joe donnelly and his candidate mike braun. Jeff flock is in the hoosier state. Jeff . Reporter yeah. Saw that interview you had with mike braun. Hes fighting hard. Take a look. This is a red state and a red county. Hamilton county just north of indianapolis. Look at the people. There have been huge lines all day. The early vote though, if you look, no surprise. About half million additional early voters this year in indiana. Heres the problem for republicans. If you look at the counties in which that early vote took place, marion county, that is indianapolis. Urban county. Largely a blue one. Compared to even two years ago when trump was on the ballot. Weve got a lot more share of the vote in the blue county this time. That could be something telling. We asked mike braun about that as he campaigned for the last time this morning. Here what he said. Were a conservative state. We like it. So i think we noticed a definite difference back in the kavanaugh hearings. It energized our side. Reporter and joe donnelly, as you might know, voted against judge kavanaugh. He said i have voted with the president a lot of the time. I am not a blocker. Well see who gets the share of those moderates that may swing this election one way or the other. Dana good to have you there in indiana. Im sure well see you later. We are tracking the tight senate races where the outcome could spell the difference for both parties. Joining me, josh holmes, Founding Partner of cavalry llc. Any thoughts on indiana . We keep talking about this. The reason why some of the polls close early. If mike braun is able to unseat joe donnelly, republicans could be in for a good night. Theyre key to who ever has a good night. Indian in was a precursor of what we saw across the country. Came in very big for President Trump. Came in very big for the senate at that point, too with todd young. Beating evan bye. If it breaks the same way republicans will feel good about that. Problem is competing dynamics here. You are also in a midterm where your party is in power. All that being said, they have had a lead, margin of error here. I dont think theres any comfort for anybody going into this election. Dana comfortable . Look, we cant be comfortable. Some people were too comfortable in 2016 in my party and look what happened. Me included. No. Josh is right with indiana. Indiana is a red state. But joe donnelly is a very strong campaigner. He hasnt done a lot of national media. I think youre seeing results show today. I think also talking ab missouri. I would never ever rule Claire Mccaskill out. Weve seen the poll, the margins in those polls close. Shes now running neck and neck. Those would be two very close race. Dana i didnt know there was no early voting in missouri so it all happens today. I want to bring up a few of the issue areas where fox news asks what is the most important thing to you when voting . Healthcare 58 . President trump 51 . Assuming that means either because you want to support President Trump or dont want to support President Trump. Immigration, Supreme Court nomination. Both get a lot of attention. One that doesnt is guns. The fifth one on that list. I just wonder when it comes to the money Mike Bloomberg and his group has put forward in congressional districts, is it going to make a difference . I think it will make a difference. Hes not just running on gun control. It is unfortunate that that is not a huge issue. Has a lot to do with the fact that people are concerned about healthcare. Trump is motivating a lot of democrats to turn out. It is unfortunate in my view that gun control is not quite as prevalent an issue as it was a couple months ago. Dana it is really almost regional. One of the reasons the Supreme Court resonates so deeply with republicans. Supreme Court Justices resonate. We saw in 2016 whole bunch of voters come out and vote for President Trump to control the Supreme Court. I still do think it helps. Dana the georgias governors race is tied as well. If no one gets to 50 it goes to a runoff. Guns play a big role. Can i play this sound bite. President trump was asked this question. Do you regret anything from the last two years . This is what he said. Anything, as you look back at your first almost two years that you regret, that you wish you could take back an redo . Well, there would be certain things. Im not sure i want to reveal all of them. I would say tone. I would like to have a much softer tone. I feel, to a certain extent, i have no choice but maybe i do. Maybe i could have been softer. Dana i think very transparent answer. One of the things i always thought when i was doing communications is if a Reporter Asks you that, if you give them something, people take that. Okay. Tone. We know people get frustrated with the tone. Yeah. We also know theres a lot of voters who voted for donald trump in 2016 because they cared more about the Supreme Court and were willing to put aside some of this rhetoric that he has stopped during the campaign. Well see if he changes his tone after the election. Dana josh, as we go through the Fox News Voter Analysis that well get to tonight, this is an in depth way to look at trend. What lessons might each party take from this and might they learn the wrong one . I think both parties always learn the wrong lessons. The question is whether the leadership can correct it and get to the point where youre executing going forward. That was selfdeprecating from the president. No matter what, there will be an opportunity in 2019 for both parties to Work Together on big issues that they both agree are a problem. The question is whether people can set politics aside. Im pretty dubious about it. Dana you and i were there after 06. We had the chance to do immigration reform. It didnt happen. It became an investigation fest. If you listen to what democrats are saying, thats basically what theyre forecasting here. I hope thats not the case because there really are some big issues that can be tackled, should be tackled. Dana let me ask you this. Nate silver said democrats have an 85 chance of taking the house. Thats 15 . But, do you think that democrats will be willing to work with President Trump on anything, could infrastructure be the thing . Thats a good point. Infrastructure is something a lot of americans want. Something that was an issue in the 2016 campaign and has not been addressed by this congress. So i think that would be a great way to show some bipartisanship. I do think that there may be democrats have subpoena power, there will be a more aggressive investigation from some of the committees. But at the same time, democrats can walk and chew gum at the same time. We know we were elected on healthcare and the economy. Dana im just going back to history. It was pretty much all investigations. We did get the fisa bill through. Little walk down memory lane. Josh and adrian, thank you. Have fun watching. Bitter hard fought race for governor of georgia. This race may not be won tonight. Well tell you why. An more key races tonight. Well have analysis from the congressional committee. No, no, no. Wait a minute. Get to the polls the fact is, there are over ninetysix hundred roads named park in the u. S. Its americas most popular street name. But allstate agents know thats where the similarity stops. If youre on park street in reno, nevada, the high winds of the Washoe Zephyr could damage your siding. And thats very different than living on park ave in sheboygan, wisconsin, where ice dams could cause water damage. But no matter what park you live on, one of 10,000 local allstate agents knows yours. Now that you know the truth, are you in good hands . To give you the protein you need with less of the sugar you dont. [grunting noise] ill take that. 30 grams of protein and 1 gram of sugar. Ensure max protein. In two great flavors. Were taking a look at some key house races. Matt Gorman Communications director for the National Republican congressional committee. Hes been coming on every tuesday. We always love having you. I want to talk to you about the situation where you have the power ranking summary for us, which is likely or lean r at 199, for house seats. Tossup at 29. And 207 likely lean d. And let me have you take a listen to the chairman ray louhan and what he thinks American People want. I think the American People, they want us to be working together. They want us to be reaching across the aisle and find a way to come together for the greater good of america. Im confident that under a democratic majority in the u. S. House of representatives, well be able to look to stronger days in front of us. Dana how do you feel about his messaging there . They were hammering republicans on health care and on President Trump for the past ten months. I think its a lot of talk. He didnt mention one single thing they want to work with the president on. Its a lot of talk, but it seems democrats can overcome the fact with voters that there will be a lot of dysfunction if democrats take back the house. I have seen polling at 42 of folks voting against democrats today are doing so because they know it would grind d. C. To a halt. Dana we were talking about that before with adrian elrod. If democrats were to take back the house, would they even work with the president . When youre at the nrcc you have to make decisions on how youll spend resources. Lets look at virginia 10, florida 6 and illinois 14. Nrcc doing 5 million there for Barbara Comstocks race. I know shes a strong competitor. Shes down in that race. Then in florida 6, Nancy Soderbergh almost doubling the almost of Campaign Spending that has been spent in that race so far over the republican down there. Then illinois 14 at 700,000, that one is kind of a surprise sort of lastminute looks like the republicans might be in trouble there. Ill turn it over to you and you tell me if you made good decisions. First of all, lets talk money. Were constantly evaluating how to use our limited resources, with the only goal keeping the majori majority. Some group doss not have contribution limits. We do. We have raised over 180 million. That is a record. More than we ever have before. That also includes 20 million weve had to spend in nine competitive special elections. So, again, we have a good story to tell. We have limited resources to do it. When it comes to virginia, barbara comstock, many people have counted her out in the past. We believe in her. We have confidence in her. When it comes to Michael Waltz down in florida, thats a race where we feel we have a good handle on. Were not here to cover the spread. Its not vegas. We believe Michael Waltz can come to congress as the first green beret ever elected to congress and join dan crenshaw as a couple new young vets in the next congress. Dana even if it is close, as i was reminded last night. Even if you win by one, you are still called congressman the next day. Exactly. Dana let me ask you about that surprise or any other surprises you think are happening in illinois 14. The democratic challenger lauren underwood. She has just recently pulled ahead of the incumbent representative randy holmgren. Is that a surprise . I think that will tell us how the night is going. Randy is a phenomenal candidate. Lauren might be ahead according to what you say. She moved to district to run for congress. Had a resume inflation scandal just in the past two days. Im interested to see how that will affect it. She claims she treated hundreds as a nurse but hasnt worked as a nurse since nursing school. I think this will break late, tell us a lot about the night. I think Randy Hultgren will come back to congress. Dana how do you watch the election . Do you like to be in a group, alone . How do you do it . Well be at the nrcc hunkered down keeping track of result, hopefully with smiles on our faces. Dana either way, wed love to have you back to talk about this. Thanks. Appreciate. Democrat tomorrow meredith kelly, matts counter part, will join us live to break down her partys night. Facebook blocked more than 100 accounts deemed suspicious on the eve of election day. This is after they were flagged by the fed as possibly linked to foreign entities. Facebook said the company is in the early stage of an investigation but 30 facebook pages and 35 instagram accounts were blocked. Kirstjen nielsen said there have been not been any major problems so far. I can confidently say that the 2018 elections will be the most se skaour election in the modern era. At this time, we have no indication of compromise to our nations infrastructure, compromised voting. Dana Kirstjen Nielsen did note a few instances of twitter accounts telling people to vote tomorrow instead of today, noting a consistent effort by some foreign governments to sway the election. But all of you know election day is today. This is a battle for the soul of our state. My opponent is running one of the most dishonest campaigns that georgians have ever seen. You want someone who will lie to his friends and to his enemys . We have to vote our hearts tuesday. Dana accusations of voter fraud and Voter Suppression dominating the georgias governors race. And where amazons new headquarters will be. Follow us at Daily Briefing fnc. Were on instagram and facebook with that handle. Hey, what are you guys doing here . Were voya. Helping you to and through retirement. Be right back. With moderate to severe Crohns Disease, i was there, just not always where i needed to be. Is she alright . I hope so. So i talked to my doctor about humira. I learned humira is for people who still have symptoms of Crohns Disease after trying other medications. And the majority of people on humira saw significant symptom relief and many achieved remission in as little as 4 weeks. Humira can lower your ability to fight infections, including tuberculosis. Cesar sayoc faces 48 years in prison. Plotting to attack president macron. The suspects are believed to belong to a farright group. Georgia is one of 36 states electing governor today. Stacie abrams and brian camp are facing all. Abrams would become the first female African American governor. Live from atlanta, jonathan. Hi, dana. Voter turnout has been heavy throughout the state. The skies have cleared up, but even when raining, we were seeing long lines in midtown atlanta, some people waiting in line as long as an hour and other locations, hearing reports of people waiting three hours, this follows unprecedented numbers of early voters, two milian georgia citizens casting before election day, doubling the previous record for early voting in a Midterm Election setback in 2014. As georgia secretary of state michael kempf, the republican running for governor, oversees elections, his office requested criminal investigation of georgia democrats implicating the party in temp to exploit weaknesses in the secretary of state online voter page. Party officials are outraged. Yet to provide evidence of any possible hack by the party and the reason is, it does not exist. Hes just hoping this is another way to suppress votes. In this race democrats are talking about Voter Suppression and republicans talking about safeguarding voter fraud. Both brought out President Trump and Vice President mike pence who was with kemp. And oprah winfrey, partnered with Stacie Abrams. If elected, Stacie Abrams would be first female African American governor. It is possible we wont know the outcome of this race tonight, it is so tight if no candidate gets more than 50 of the vote, we could look at a runoff in early december. Back to you. Jonathan, thank you. Americans young and old pitching in at polling places across the country, San Francisco department of election bring nothing 600 High School Students as poll workers.
