The argument there there was illegal precanvassing of mailin votes in democratic counties and the people who had mistakes on their ballots were encouraged to cast a provisional one. In seven counties, democratleaning counties, if they received your ballot in advance, its illegal to open those ballots until election day, the mailin ballots. Somehow they were determining which ballots were not accurate, which were not properly done and telling voters to fix them in advance. In georgia Trump Campaign officials are pushing to start the recount there by the end of the weekend. In nevada new allegations that Signature Verification Software was in effective. Here is what senator Lindsey Graham said about that earlier today. In nevada, they have a machine to verify mailin ballot signatures. If you dont have a signature on a mailin ballot then its useless. The machine was basically turned off. So they ran millions of ballots through this machine, voting machine in nevada and the signature component of it was almost literally turned off. Pull out a million this person won. Thats why mathematically you actually have to do a full handbyhand recount of all because the margin is so close. The hand recount with will provide georgias final and official tally in the president ial race. It does not effect the states two u. S. Senate races which are heading to january 5th runoffs. What do you think they will be telling him today . Well, i dont know exactly what they will be telling him. I suspect they will be focused in on the legal actions. We have important deadlines coming up at which time the Trump Campaign has either got to get in court and begin to prove their allegations of widespread fraud or they are going to run out of time. Georgia, where he is trailing by 14,108 will certify its vote on the 20th of november. When they certify the vote they say this person won and if its a president ial candidate, their electors have been selected and it gets the legal threshold to overturn that gets a lot higher. We got pennsylvania on the 23rd and michigan on the 23rd behind by nearly 50,000, 146,000 in michigan. Arizona where the count last night was about 12,000. It certifies on the 30th. And then wisconsin and nevada on the 1st of december. The president s legal challenges have to be either well developed and well along in those states or if certification comes, the difficulty of overturning it becomes even more substantial. Dana what is your take on the hand recount in georgia the way thats being set up . Well, i think its going to be a reassuring thing for everybody. I think he is right. Have you got to recount everything. As long as you are recounting it and they have sufficient time to do it before the deadline on the 20th, why not do a monday count so that everybody gets comfortable. Because you have got observers, partisan observers. Democrats and republicans, watching people literally count those ballots and every one of the states 157 counties. So at the end of this process we will have a pretty definitive understanding of how it came off and if there is a close agreement between the number in the recount and the close number in the machine count, then i think its going to give people a greater confidence in the outcome. Dana what happens if there is a challenge to one of the ballots . There is a republican and a democrat that both looks at it . Is that vote then set aside. That vote is then set aside and adjudicated right then and there. Dana yes. So if there is a question they said lets put that in the stack to be considered here and then we will adjudicate it when we are finished of with everything else. Dana i see. On the Georgia Senate races of course the Senate Candidates are waste nothing time and Kelly Loeffler who is the incumbent. She was only appointed just last year. She had to run right away. I think this is maybe i dont know what Bernie Sanders was thinking other than he wants his far left policies to be represented in a Biden Administration. You have to remember if he does not become a cabinet secretary and the democrats take the senate through these georgia seats, he will be in charge of the budget and Banking Commission in the senate. And you will have maybe, you know, Elizabeth Warren will be able to willing her wa wilg hery chairmanship. Either way they will be represented. Of course the cabinet will depend on Georgia Senate race and whether Mitch Mcconnell is vetting cabinet nominees or whether schumer is going to push those nominees through.
