Sometimes there are glaring errors, statistical errors that somehow get through by people who know better and by editors who know better. They are cited by other people who know better. Not on purpose. I dont think its a cynical thing. I think for the most part its just an issuer the studies are confirming something. These kinds of errors creep in and go unnoticed.
