Elizabeth more big stories now a special needs student is allegedly assaulted by a Johnston School bus driver. It was all caught on camera. Hard to watch. You dont say that to me elizabeth the outburst began after a 15yearold student bus driver Robert Scarbrough. Scarbrough then walked to the back of the bus and, according to police, grabbed the student by his coat and struck him in the face. Students can be heard screaming, demanding the driver to stop. At the next stop, students fled the bus in fear and found a nearby sheriffs deputy. Gracie foster people saw the officer and others were crying and stuff. And i think everyone was a little scared, even if they didnt want to admit it. Elizabeth this was scarbroughs first year as a johnston bus driver. The district reports there were no former complaints filed against him. Hes now on administrative leave and faces assault and child endangerment charges. Eric three teenagers face new charges this morning in a clarion hazing case. The former clariongoldfielddows football counts of thirddegree sexual abuse. Thats in addition to one count of hazing and one count of simple assault. Police say 18yearold seth pille, 17yearold michael shaffer, and 16yearold Tristan Mewes assaulted younger Football Players in the locker room before practice. All three will be tried as adults on the sex abuse charges. Six days. 62yearold Floyd Ray Cook had been on the run since saturday when he allegedly shot and injured a Tennessee Police officer during a traffic stop. Kentucky police say they caught up with cook overnight near the kentuckytennessee border when they responded to a call of shots fired. The officers and cook exchanged fire and cook was fatally shot during the shootout. No officers were hurt. Schools in the area had been closed while the manhunt was underway, but students will be returning this morning. Also developing overnight, two Police Officers were shot and a robbery suspect was killed in a shootout in tennessee. Police say it happened about 80 miles south of nashville. Officers were responding to a home robbery call where the homeowner had been stabbed when they found the suspect and gunfire broke out. One officer was treated at the scene. Another was flown to a hospital. The extent of his injuries has not been released. The suspect was killed. And it was a late night on capitol hill. And it brings a group of both general ed and special ed students get together for some fun. It all happens inside these gym doors beside me every other thursday of the month. They have multiple stations sets up set up, scooter, volleyball, and hula hoop. Or soccer. The purpose are for the general and students to serve to help special needs students so they can monitor their activities. The physical Education Teacher of the program says that the general needs students benefit by making a difference in the lives of someone else. And learn about themselves.
