After a man is shot outside the Colonial Manor motel near east 46th avenue off of i70. How is the man doing . Reporter we havent been able to get an update on the mans condition but we do know as of last night he was in Critical Condition. This is right by i70 under the freeway and that may have been a bit of a challenge because this the scene was quite the set up with police surrounding the motel but also having to get on to 46th avenue as they investigate the case for hours. They could only open up this hour and let the motel open and remove the scene in the last hour or so. So we know that crime scene investigators were here quite some time collecting evidence not only on the side of the motel but also in the surrounding area spending time they left within the last hour or two so again that victim remains in Critical Condition but as far the suspect, police say theyre working on a description and they believe its only one person involved in the shooting and havent been able to give us details about who they are looking for. Bullets hit them last night near federal and vasser h police do not have anyone in custody. Happening this morning we expect prosecutors seek to charge this 16year old as an adult in the brutal beating of a kind hearted 71year old Boulder County woman. Since Jeffrey Collins is only 16 hes been previously seen in Juvenile Court but this morning the Boulder CountyDistrict Attorneys Office is expected to charge him as an this morning held on a Million Dollars bond for suspicion of attempted murder. Last monday 71 year old woman helped three hitchhikers. Collins attacked her striking her over the head with a fire poker fracturing her skull. Collins fled the other two he was with ran next door to call 911. It took several days collins who had previous run ins with the law. The woman has family by her side and her injuries extremely serious but her son says she is improving and he started a gofundme page to help can costs of her medical expenses. Investigators have released findings and they say they have solid evidence that that missile was moved into ukraine from russia before the strike. Water in a southern colorado town is of man made chemicals that once tainted the drinking supply. Earlier this year Dangerous Levels of man made chemicals turned up in the wells in the town of security which is near Colorado Springs. Leaders think the chemicals may have come from firefightering foam at Peterson Air Force base. The town shut down the ground water wells and customers are receiving Service Water from wildfire continues to burn this morning. Its a big one. This fire is now more than 2,000 acres.
