But for this morning the judge will likely set a date for much anticipated hearing her attorneys have been waiting to set for months. The District Attorneys Office says this morning the judge will likely set a date for the reverse transfer hearing. Because its her attorneys shot at getting the case back to juvenile court. They were just 16 when they were arrested last december. Higgins allegedly not only wrote about her plans, but how she wished she could have taken part in the columbine attacks. Her attorneys claimed in court that investigators have sent her a flimsy case around her journal and this crime is a thought crime at best. Her attorneys have been working to get that reverse transfer hearing for some say both girls have been waiting far too long. This has burned 15,000 acres the junkins fire is quickly growing in southern colorado and we know structures have in fact already burned. This morning we also know fema stepped in to help. Now fire officials can use federal funding to fight that fire. The junkins fire is burning in custer and pueblo counties. This is near westcliffe. Reporter this morning firefighters are hoping today they can make some progress on in the distance you can see the glow from those flames. More than 100 people have been evacuated. 3,000 people either evacuated or on preevacuation notice. We have been able to confirm with the Custer County sheriff that several structures have burned, including at least one home. No injuries reported, though, with this fire. It all started about 3 40 yesterday morning. And by noon it had already crews from throughout Southeastern Colorado initially responding to this fire. But they are getting backup from a type one team coming in to take over this fire today. Were told there will be at least four air tankers attacking this fire from above, and hand crews, those hot shot crews are en route to hopefully start making some progress on a containment here. A lot of folks watching this one very closely because there is a lot of smoke an thing blew up yesterday. More winds like we had yesterday with red flag warnings are expected here in the burn area.
