More homes have burned in the junkins wildfire burning in the mountains west of pueblo. That fire zero percent than 15,750 acres. Evacuated residents got new information from fire managers at a Community Meeting last night. Our Matt Kroschel was there. Reporter at a Community Meeting here in florence last night, people who have evacuated, and there are more than 300 of them, were able to kind of get more information about their homes in particular. The sheriff now confirming five houses have burned and 13 other buildings. Today we were on the fire lines as we watched a lot more of the aircraft start to atta being assigned to this fire. 300 firefighters working on the ground and right now the fire more than 16,000 acres and its continuing to burn in several different directions. In westcliffe, smoke completely blanketing the entire valley as those winds have shifted towards the west. Here on the eastern flank of this fire, a community is watching as the smoke gets flames continue to move. Now the sheriff says the evacuations remain in place. Theyre going to be contacting homeowners as they continue to explore this fire area. Its a very large fire burn area. Vestigators say they believe suspect David Ansberry was part of a radical group decades ago. F0 he may have been seeking revenge for the death of guy goughner. Ansberry allegedly planted a bomb outside the Nederland PoliceDepartment Last week. Investigators identified the 64 yearold by a cell phone that guy goughner disappeared in nederland in 1971. He was last seen at the pioneer inn. Former Boulder County sheriff george epps says investigators suspected city manager forbes was to blame.
