Denver police say a barricade situation at the Embassy Suites i25 is over. Officers eventually took a man into custody around 3 30 this morning without incident. This all started yesterday afternoon when the man barricaded himself in a room, nearby guests were also evacuated. The suspect may be involved in a Domestic Assault and stolen car outside the hotel. We did receive several calls overnight about a power outage near 88th and grant in thornton. Police say a crash at that intersection caused the outage this all happened 7 00 last night. Xcel says it caused extensive damage and they are working to fix the problem to more than 700 customers. They hope to have repairs done hopefully before noon. A envelope with a white powder in it sent to Hillary Clintons campaign headquarters. Jefferson county deputies arrested two male students on suspicion of misdemeanor harassment and felony menacing. Deputies say for months theyve been bullying four piers.
